I believe Senator Jefferson from Louisiana is getting ready to endorse Hillary also.

To all the Clinton supporters - Please explain why?  Have we not forgotten who she is....it's crazy to think change can happen with her in the oval office.  To change things we need Republicans and Democrats to come together.  The Clinton's are to Republicans, what the Bush's are to Democrats - divisive, polarizing figures.  We will be right back to the blue-state, red-state nonsense (along with the revival of the conservative conspiracy).  Enough is enough.  Hillary Clinton is a fine candidate and certainly qualified for the job, but they will freeze her out.  She will not get anything done.  If you want change, then you need someone that can bring both sides together and get away from the nonsense we have experienced over the past 20 years.  As a Democrat I favor Obama because I think he can inspire both sides of the aisle.  If not Obama, then Edwards because his last name isn't Clinton.  I can honestly say that if it comes down to a Clinton versus McCain vote, then I will have to vote Republican for the first time in years.  There are many like me that feel the same way.  The Vote against Hillary is not a vote against her because of gender (I'm all for a female president), but it is a vote against the Clintons and their polarizing effect.  Some may say that McCain will start World War III, but honestly he isn't going to be any worse than who we have in the office now -- and he might, just might unite Red and Blue states.  Those are my thoughts -- I just understand how Hillary can get anyone excited.  She's a good Senator (I live in New York) and capable, but you all know deep down that it will be more of the same with her in office.

As per Ted Kennedy endorsing Obama. What a hoot. I am jumping up and down and all around. Ho-Hum, Kennedy is a has been. I did sit up and take notice that Caroline Kennedy was supporting Obama. But it did not change the fact that I will be voting for Hillary Clinton. We need someone that has experience- Hillary.Obama has no experience, whatsoever. People have to vote with their head not their heart. This is what got us in trouble--- people voted in W. because they liked him--they wanted to have a beer with him and have him over for dinner. Look at our country now---a total mess. We need someone to take control and fix things--Hillary can do that. Once we resolve things , then we can have change and Obama can run for office. I watched "Primary Colors" this past weekend on one of my movie channels.  I suggest you Hillary zealots do the same (rent the movie or read the book).  What they pulled on Obama was classic Clinton politics.  As an aside, I didn't know who to support after Bill Richardson withdrew, and I was hesitant to support Hillary with her pro-war votes, but after all of the antics since Iowa, I am certain I won't vote for her.  

Chuck  if you watch MSNBC you would know that many of their on air personalities, as well as a few of their online writers are most definately pro Obama. No one can say Joe Scarborough is an Obama supporter, however he is most obviously a Hillary Clinton hater. Joe is the token republican on MSNBC, much like Colmes is on Fox. ( except that Joe Scarborough is a notch above) His opinions are clearly expresssed. he HATES Hillary Clinton and guess what, we the public should NOT know that. These people are reporters and should be stating the facts, and taking questions and opinions from professionals. We the veiwing public should not have a clue as to whom they privately endorse. Do you hear this Chris Matthews?? You too Joe and the rest of you. Take a cue from your more regal colleagues such as Brian Williams or Tom Brokaw. I wouldnt know who either of these men wil vote for and I shouldnt know. ( why do you think candidates try to get big name celebrities to endorse them, because there are actually people who will vote for someone just because their favorite movie star is seen with them). There must be someone out there with a big crush on Joe Scarborough who now hates Hillary because he does. Sounds ridiculous because it is.  

Go Hillary!!!! You can and will lead this nation. Obama makes me sick. Why does he have to blow his cheeks in and out when he talks? Has SNL picked up on this yet? It's like a balloon. The bam-booze-al line cracks me up. Watch it.

MSNBC continues to harp on the comment former President Clinton made about Jesse Jackson winning South Carolina in '84 and '88.  

Stepping back for just a moment, could it possibly be that there was nothing sinister in the comment, merely a reference that in spite of winning the South Carolina primary, he did not ultimately win the democratic nomination.

I think those of you that see all of these code words that you see as racial, and that a lot of us don't, do the whole process and your candidate in particular a disservice.  If this country is ready for a black president, then we should be ready to let go of the past and not see every word uttered by someone as having a hidden racial meaning.

Yeah, super delegates do count. Unfortunately for Senator Clinton, they have the ability to switch their support whenever they feel like it. That's not a very solid foundation to build your house on. But, it does make for a nice equivalent of a stiff drink to numb the sting of a 30 point loss. If I were you, J. Merle, I would probably be doing the same thing.

Morning Joe is funny, witty, entertaining and republican.  Of course he would favor Obama, because most republicans detest the Clinton's.  That is no big story.  As far as endorsements...they all count.  Mainly because of superdelegates, but the only ones that are noteworthy are those that go against trends.  I am an undecided Democrat, happy with my choices for President, but there is no denying the Kennedy moment yesterday was definitely moving.  Maxine Waters is definitely a solid endorsement, but the media will give more coverage to a woman endorsing Obama or a black supporting Clinton.  It is sad, but it is the society we live in.

You too should know with the endorsments of Kennedy, Leahy, Daschle and Kerry, it will be the same with an Obama presidency.

But you did hit on a key point that we should all consider.  In reality no matter who the president is, Democrat or Republican, they can get nothing done without the support of the congress.  So what we all need to be concentrating on is electing Senators and Representatives that stand the kind of change we are all seeking.

Obama is no JFK. No experience, no military experience, just talk.  The Democrats are imploding on themselves and the Republicans are loving it!  I feel someday Obama will make a great president, it's just not his time.  Close your eyes and listen to what they are truly saying, not the eloquence but the true meaning behind their programs and what can really be accomplished by a Democrat President in the White House.

You guys must remember that it is all about ratings. Joe, Mika, Chris, and Tucker are all trying to keep their shows on tv. They are going to turn against Obama just as soon as the general election starts. Neither one will vote for a black man or a white woman. The Hillary Camp is going out of their way to minimize the Kennedy endorsement, while trying to maximize her Waters endorsement, as well as her Florida "victory".  They call it The Clinton Machine for a reason...

You have to know that even though the MSM is cheering on Obama as the second coming that regardless of what you or I may think of him...he and his campaign are not above playing dirty. Hillary Clinton is not getting endorsements because she is threatening people. Both campaigns are actively going after every meaningful endorsement just as they are going out and making their cases for every vote. I support Hillary for a myriad of reasons none of which has to do with my arm being twisted...I imagine Maxine Waters feels the same way.  

Barry was getting 80% of the AA vote since Iowa, because he's AA. If he wasn't running against Hillary, it would have been 90%. The truly despicable part of this campaign is the race-baiting that began with Hillary's unexpected and unwanted win in NH. There was little talk of race when Barry won, it only was raised AFTER he lost.
In reality Bill Clinton has been a better friend to the AA community and has done more for the AA population in America than Barry would ever do, and those who accuse Bill or Hillary of racism only expose their own RACISM.

The Clintons are the most disingenuous and duplicitous individuals there are in political circles today. They are all that is wrong with Washington politics and if Hillary (I’ve accomplished nothing but talk in her career) is elected ... nothing will change anything in Washington. Bill Clinton will lie right to your face if it serves his purpose, just as he did when he was the President. They will do or say anything to get back to the White House. Its not about concern for America's welfare they are running for the White House its their own ego driven need for power. Hillary is not about change… she never even mention herself as a change agent, until she saw that Mr. Obama’s message had resonance with the American psyche. Unfortunately I fear Hillary will get the nomination, and if that is the case I will never vote for a Democrat for President ever again. I’m very disturbed at the lack of insight by people who support Hillary. She has never accomplished anything in her political career… yet people continue to think she is experienced. What is this great experience you all think she has? What great piece of legislation has she championed and has been passed into law that is helping you today. We would have had some type of national health care today, if Hillary would have been willing to compromise back in the early 90s. During her time in the White House she did not even have National Security clearance …, yep that’s real experience.  The Clintons championed NAFTA and promoted China… These two moves have diminished the US as an economic power and have caused the loss of millions of good paying jobs to foreign companies. She was completely in support of the Bush and his invasion of Iraq , now she tries to change history. The reason she supported the war was a purely political move for her future plans to run for the White House, she hoped to use the vote to stave off any attacks by the Republicans that she was not strong in defense issues. She did not care for the soldiers being sent off to a needless war that did not address actual national security priorities. It will be another sad day in America, when the Clintons return to the White House. I just hope that members of the Democratic Party wake up from their sleep instead of dreaming of the fantasy that is the Clintons.

They are part of the case I have and while agreed have never paid the check out. I was sent a letter saying if I needed medical treatment to see workmans comp doctor.  I did when I fell from a shower only to be told they and the catholic hospital I was at would not see me.  Mitt Romney says he will fix social security what is he going to do barter it into health care or hospitality honesty no way Jose.  Mockery of justice in one mormon company as well as the deceptor that says they treat people equal.  While working in a hotel in Paradise Valley, AZ a mormon one owned two mormon woman disgraced and rigid ridiculed a native American Indian who was working maintenance and said he was dirt.   Well there are good and bad amoung them I have worked with good too.  But what did Mitt Romney do for social security while in Massachusetts? Nothing.  So how can we believe in his word anyother way?     He got paid for helping Chrysler.  You did a job.  But what did you do to encourage all the mormons buy AMERICAN MADE.  There are people out of work in Florida and Cameo Seniors everywhere and the youth of Florida and Kansas and all 51 States are not saps nor deceivers.  Integreity in Mitt Romney is as good as the check I have never received for workers comp.  You are and have been a part of the congress you try and humiliate.   In a room of men and woman the tallest and the tiniest you would not see but what buck you could give.  Barter it and donate it to payoff our national debt and barter it to put money in social security for our youth and tomorrow.  You are full of Bull   Romney!

Billy from Il i said almost the same thing yesterday when kennedy endorsed obama, except i said Joe Shmoe from Idaho.  Same sentiment. Endorsements are basically meaningless. Everyone knows this. There will be a pro and con to basically every endorsement that comes in. if i saw Obama get up and say  " ladies and gentlemen, I am not acepting any endorsements at this time from anyone because i am the candidate for change and why would i need the backing of every old school politician in DC if I am looking to change..." Well then I would vote for him at once.

I just want someone to tell me what change Obama is talking about.  Can someone just tell me what this guy had done, what are his credentials, how can he bring change, because all I see is he agreeing with Hillary in all the debates…What?   I am from NY and Osama has not done anything for me and my state.  Hillary is a different story. The reason why my brother and 1000s vets has health insurance after they came from Iraq.  The reason why NY got most of the funding it asked after 911.   We can see from her resume that she can really bring a lot of changes.  It just irony how Ted was so cozy with Hillary whenever he needed her support in the senate, and now he is with Obama.  I hope that whenever he needs something to pass in the senate from now on he better point to Illinois. Maxine Waters is an important voice in the Los Angeles black community, but she is not a national figure.  The endorsement may help Clinton with some older African Americans.  Thursday night's California debate will be extremely important.  I'm guessing Clinton wins California, but by a much narrower margin than the 12% suggested in the most recent poll (pre-South Carolina, pre-Kennedy endorsements.)  Independents can vote in the Dem primary here but not in the Republican primary (quirky party rules) -- and that favors Obama.  The state's delegates are awarded proportionally, so I'm thinking it's not going to be a huge delegate take for Clinton.

Hillary can have Maxine.  She is polarizing and has questionable integrity.  Probably would have been a  negative to Obama if she had endorsed him, especially considering the race cr*p that the media loves keep hyping.  I suspect Obama did not even seek her endorsement.

I did not read Obama's shoulder turn last night as a snub of Hillary.  I thought it was his way, on a very awkward day, of getting out of the way so that Hillary and Ted could have a private moment together.

I am not a Hillary Support and coming from California….this is huge…
