OMG, how is Senator Obama going to explain this

This is unbelievable.  I am in tears
Rudy could endorse himself.  Who could distinguish the candidates from each other?  Forget being McWar's VP Rudy, Lieberman's got that locked for the pipedream nuclear strike on Iran. Dems win in landslide.
I wonder if that will hurt Mcain. Rudy has demonstrated a remarkable ability to repel voters. Maybe it's contagious.
SEO
Dissapointing.. I thought Rudy was somewhat conservative
1 loser endorsing another loser, good grief, next he will be saying bush was a great president, get real dude.
The only true conservative is Ron Paul.  Think about it.
Rudy is a one hit wonder, and a broken record at that.  9/11 9/11 9/11

You aren't going to win a presidency on that in 2008.
John will not choose Liberman for VP  or Rudy or Huck, I would like to see Condi Rice  there, but it won't happen. He can draw from many sources and will pick one that he believes can continue on in 4 years. John will be a 1 term President, we all know that , but in his 4 years we will get a good start on getting this country back on the right path.  Trust me, I have been voting since IKE and I know Presidential material when I see it.
Oh thats going to do it rudy endorsing McCain!
What a joke this is the best this country has to offer. Prepare for 1000 year war, Damn I think I'll join the troops now, so I'm ahead of the game before the draft!
I'm just another American disgusted with corprupt america voter fraud and news cencorship!
The next state will be?
As a Romney supporter I’m asking you Huckabee supporters to seriously consider changing your support.  I realize many of you distrust Romney’s religion—DON’T—the Mormon people have consistently shared your values even if you disagree with some of their doctrine.

While Romney has donated his own money, please remember that he has raised more than any other Republican candidate.  While he has more wealth than you or I most likely will ever attain, he took no paycheck as Massachusetts governor or the president of the Olympics.  While Romney has changed his political stance on abortion, his record proves his current stance.

The “Flip-Flop” label was given to Romney by the DNC; it is continued by McCain.  McCain won Florida tonight.  Giuliani gave a concession speech that will probably lead to a drop-out speech tomorrow.  Most of his support is expected to go to McCain.

It is time to join forces and support Mitt.  For those who have concerns about his religion please go see what other evangelicals are saying at www.evangelicalsformitt.org
Liddy Dole may be Republican VP in order to appeal to women and also in order to galvanize the South and the conservatives.
what is the Denise at top saying - "OMG, how is Senator Obama going to explain this"

Good riddance. Now if only the rest of the candidates would quit.
My heart sinks.  I support Rudy 100%, was proud to vote for him in the Florida primary and am sad at the outcome tonight.  BUT, how he could choose to endorse someone like McCain is beyond me.  I look forward to hearing what he has to say about it tomorrow, but it really is upsetting.  I can't imagine no matter how much I care and respect his words that I could ever vote for McCain.  I don't like Romney so much, but at least he's conservative.  I'll still support Rudy in future endeavors.  I fully believe that he would have been a great benefit as a president and while I may not support his opinion about McCain, I do support him.
Rudy is running for V.P....

Maybe its time for Huckabee to team up with Romney and form the TRUE CONSERVATIVE PARTY!
What are the chances that the news starts to turn bad again in Iraq?  I sincerely hope we continue to see progress and avoid casualties, but I believe it's only a matter of time that it gets ugly again.  If that happens before Nov, forget McCain in the White House.  People will suddenly remember the feelings toward Washington a year ago and realize McCain cannot be put in charge or we'll be in that same position.  I agree that McCain has the advantage in the general election if it continues to be smooth sailing in Iraq, however if anything happens, he has no chance.  Romney can win, even if the news isn't good in Iraq.  I believe if McCain is the nominee and things are smooth sailing in Iraq, he's in the White House.  If things are bad in Iraq, the Democrats win (whoever is the nominee).  Romney is the only republican with a chance regardless of what happens in Iraq.  We just need to place our bets on how well things go in Iraq over the next few months.
Rudy, you disgust me!! I thought you were more conservative than that! Well, since we are socialist now anyways...I travel very frequently in europe, and there is NO difference between their governace and ours, I guess you and McCain and Obama and Hillary don't even care anymore. I just want to know....why my eurpoean friends are so horrified with what is going on here...as to put it...we are going left of them, the "SOCIALISTS"..and they all want to know what happened to the land of the free and the home of the brave. To quote one friend, "America is becoming a dictatorship". And when my friends and I of 6 EU nations complain about our governments, and we are repeating each other on the exact same gripes...so obvious the governments are the same..then why is America identical to those...gasp..SOCIALIST EU countries..and South Africa and Russia...hello!!! We are socialist already..just we have good healthcare now and the IRS is willing to work out payment plans and be helpful, where the EU countries tax ministries will not do so!!Also, as far as socialized medicine...why does a disabled person receiving 805 euros a month (minimum EU poverty level is 900 euros) having to pay 110 euros a month for health coverage...i.e she pays appreoximately $110 more American Dollars a month than I do!!! And I earn 75% more than she does a month. That is how socilized medicine REALLY works! Also, the IRS ,and both the State Treauries of Minnesota and Iowa  has the best customer service of any other companies CS I have dealt with...+1 to the IRS, IA and MN . This is a wakeup call!! we are socialist already..so are we all going to be so apathetic that either we become totalitarian or our businesses bought out by china, Japan..UAE...whatever...how can we allow a 14 trillion dollar economy be sold out????
Huckabee, who can't possibly win, is purposely staying in this contest to suck votes from Romney to insure a win for the old war horse, John McCain.  When Obama becomes the democratic candidate, his winning the presidency will be a walk in the park if he is running against John McCain.  Two Washington outsiders would make this a much more interesting contest.  John McCain has far too much dirty laundry that has been carefully kept quiet while the dems pray that the repubs are gullible enough to believe that the dems fear McCain as the GOP candidate.  It's all a ploy dear Republicans and you are so naive, you're taking the bait.  A young, vibrant candidate like Obama can beat an old, worn out Washington insider far too easily!!!  NO CONTEST!!  So---if you are a Republican, best you pull your forces together and back a candidate that can actually win against either democrat.  If you are a democrat, keep up the talk about McCain being a formidable candidate and your win in November will be a given!
to Todd In Utah, yes you must back your Mormon candidate, but I do not trust multi millionaires, especially ones trying to buy the Oval office. When Huck quits he will not endorse Mitt, the Baptists don't really care too much for the Mormons, too much on the protective underwear.  If Mitt was President Congress would have to supply all the troops with that special suit of "bullet proff" underwear.
Aren't we all just a little tired of politicians endorsing candidates in hopes of swaying the vote?  It sure worked in Florida when the governor and senator backed McCain at the last minute thus securing the Cuban-American vote from the Miami-Dade area.  Wish we all had the courage and facts to make our own decisions without the pushing and the prodding of the "professional" politicians!!!!!
My bet on the VP if McCain wins it!  Gov Christ from Florida.  He owes him alot for tonights victory.  One that would stun the world but would have the conservatives doing back flips (jeb bush).  Not saying I would want it, but have Rush and Hannity on the McCain Bandwagon in a minute.  It would also wrap up florida for the republican party in the general.
WAKE UP AMERICA!  John "I don't have to listen to the American People" McCain is flip-flopping in a greater way than any of the other candidates!!!  He thumbed his nose at the American people while the phone system on Capitol Hill was virtually jammed with irate Americans demanding that his treasonous amnesty plan be stopped "dead in it's tracks."  He arrogantly refused to listen then, so make him listen now!!!  Anyone, but McCain!
Todd,

Huckabee has been and is leading in Arkansas, Missouri, Alabama, Georgia, Tennessee, and Oklahoma. This should have been a real two man race all along between Huckabee and McCain.

Despite press coverage to the contrary, Huckabee won Iowa and nearly won South Carolina because of a broad base of support that is far from monolithically evangelical (or representative of a press fairytale of a monolithic Evangelical base).

In Iowa, Huckabee won four groups: WOMEN, YOUNG PEOPLE, POOR EARNERS AND EVANGELICALS.  As Concerned Women for America (and Michael Medved) reports, "Evangelical support accounted for nearly half of the votes for Huckabee (46 percent), but three other groups gave similar support: 40 percent from women, 40 percent from young voters and 41 percent from poor earners (less than $30,000 per year).  It is particularly significant that Huckabee got such a large percentage of votes from younger voters.  Much credit has been given to Obama for mobilizing the youth vote, but it should be noted that 40 percent of Huckabee's support came from young people!

Huckabee had to overcome extraordinary anti-Evangelical bias.  The message of Iowa is that anti-Evangelical bias was extraordinary and overwhelming.  Eighty-seven percent of non-Evangelicals voted against Huckabee, whereas only 66 percent of all Iowa Republicans voted against him - an astounding 21 percent gap.  Medved shows that among those who self-identified as non-Evangelicals, Huckabee finished 4th (behind Romney, Thompson and McCain).  It is significant that Huckabee got only 14% of non-Evangelical votes, while Romney got 19% of the Evangelical vote."

Those numbers were near repeated in SC. Would that people would know reasons for Hucakbee's appeal to women, poor voters and young voters! Would that people would see how virulent anti-Evangelical bias can be; and how Romney's press tactics of labeling Huckabee just a "Baptist preacher" is incredibly thin. Hucakbee has more executive experience than anyone else running: he was governor for 10.5 years.
John McCain is an old man with no real gravitas..(I'm not for Obama, young man with too much hubris). McCain has spent 4 years sucking up to Bush and actually supports his policies. The world will keep on laughing at us and buying up our assets while we spend lives and treasure occupying Iraq for 100 years (that's what McCain wants!).
reality is mccain is doing something no one else is willing to do,be honest, warts and all, something no one conservative or liberal wants to admit is a reality no pc nonsense, just truth. 2nd generation marine corps.
Great news. We don't have to hear Rudy laughing at the debates. Who's laughing now Rudy ? Go ahead common laugh Rudy.  Whats so funny anyways ? Did you ever read the 911 report Rudy ? Well maybe now you will have time. LOL LOL LOL LOL LOL . Conservative republicans really McCain , Huckabee , Rommney LOL LOL LOL LOL. What are you people thinking ? You really have been brain washed by the media. Ron Paul is the only conservative period.....
Are you kidding me, Condi Rice as VP, she is one of the worst Secretary of state we have ever had, she is lazy, simplistic and hide bound to an ideology that is silly, we are not the angels of democratic mercy that this administration has fostered on us.
Are democracy cannot be seen as promoting freedom at the point of a gun.
Dems win this one, better sit this one out and refrom your party, or go the way of the Whigs, quietly into the political shadow world of has beens.
I wonder what Rudys swan song will sound like, maybe a dying goose.
I can't wait for the Clinton McCain debates.  Anyone hear of "liars poker" ?  That's what we are in for in the next four to eight years.  For the first time since 1960, I'm seriously considering going on vacation on election day!
Whatever can the people in this country be thinking?  Everyone wants change, everyone is upset about the economy, the Iraq war, illegal immigration.  With John McCain in the Oval Office, no change will happen, just a carry-on of what we now have under the present Bush administration.  McCain has said:
  1.  I do not know very much about the economy.
  2.  We will be in Iraq for maybe 100 years.
  3.  He pushed for amnesty in his McCain/Kennedy Bill for 12-20 million illegal immigrants who are draining and furthering our economy problem.

McCain was a so-called war hero.  So were many thousands of other military troops.  That is his only platform, war, war, and more war.  I am tired of war and killing.  I am tired of illegals eating up our economy and draining our state and local governments welfare programs.  McCain will only continue the same problems facing this country, if you want a real change, start finding about the underdog in this campaign, go to http://www.ronpaul2008.com.  This is the only candidate who knows about the economy, wants to end the Iraq war, and wants to put an end to the illegal immigration invasion.  Ron Paul is being held back, if he were allowed to get his message out, the American public would be able to see the truth and an end to the problems facing America.
I chose McCain as the one person who could lock in a win against the  dems after we have all suffered from the clowns currently in the white house.
ta ta rudy911...now go endorse big john mcwar and tell us all how your company will get profits from the endless wars in persia and arabia....looks like the reprehensibles are getting ready to nominate a 3rd bushie term...woohoo
THE HARDER THEY COME IS THE HARDER THEY FALL.
Phillip,
Not sure how Liddy would fare, it is not nice to steal a sick woman's husband and daugter, now is it?  And she has been a mediocre senator at best, add in her age factor - yeah, it would be pretty good for the Democrats if he picks her.
One thing about it, the repugnants would not be able to accuse Hillary of moving to get elected Senator in another state, as Liddy did the same thing - guess the voters in Kansas were not good enough for her?  That is what I'd be thinkin if I was from Bob Dole's Kansas.
LIKE ANYONE WOULD NEED HIS ENDORSEMENT, GIMME A BREAK
you published a wonderful cheat-sheet political calendar and missed 5/17 Hawai'i Republican caucus.  How come?
Marty- just because you are old ("I've been voting since Ike") doesn't mean you are the expert on who would make the best president... we've had a lot of lousing ones in your time.  Perhaps you just like McCain because you are close to the same age.  But frankly, your biggotted slur to someone who made a friendly appeal to another voting block.  Todd did not smear anyone or name call.  "Mormons" haven't been terribly happy with the Baptists either, but Todd is trying to reach out and unify, in order to create a strong CONSERVATIVE team.  You don't have to agree, but the biggotted comments are pathetic.

For being so old you sure are childish.
