Oh-eight (R): Rudy's last day...

GIULIANI: The New York Daily News calls Giuliani’s fall a “tragic collapse.”

"As Mr. Giuliani ponders his political mortality, many advisers and political observers point to the hubris and strategic miscalculations that plagued his campaign. He allowed a tight coterie of New York aides, none with national political experience, to run much of his campaign."

“After nearly a full year of leading in the polls and dodging early fumbles, his image of electability sank as his poll numbers tumbled. He faced mountains of negative stories about disgraced ally Bernie Kerik, and spent two weeks punching at shadows over reports alleging that, while mayor, he deliberately hid security expenses related to his then-mistress.”

ROMNEY: Time's Scherer looks at what Romney can do next. "This final Romney gambit is likely to determine more than just the fate of one, well-heeled candidate. It could set the course for the Republican Party. In the old days, those who supported tax cuts for the wealthy worked closely with those who wanted to amend the constitution to ban gay marriage. Those who wanted to grow the size of the military made common cause with those who saw global warming as an environmentalist scare-tactic meant to interfere with free markets. Those who wanted to overturn Roe v. Wade also wanted to overturn campaign finance reform.”

GET HIM OUT OF HERE, AND HIS WIFE TOO, SHE WAS CLOSER TO THE MIKE THAN HIM, WHAT A JOKE, SHOWS YOU HOW STUPID YANKEES VOTE, JUST LIKE HILLARY USING THE NEW YORKERS, HOW STUPID ARE THOU
Good riddance to the arrogant troll. I am sure their are stupid people out their who will still give you tons of money on speaking tours about your so-called security expertise. How about speaking tours on how not to run a campaign?
McCain has a new lady in his life- her name is Rudy Guiliani! She will do anything for attention and nice dress! With the promise of a future relationship.
Maybe, just maybe, it's time for the Rep's to get their act together and realize that not everything is black or white.  Compromise may be the wave of the future for the Rep. party, and those that can not or will not work with the Dem's to cure the countries problems will find it hard to get elected.  Maybe John McCain seems to be left of right because he sees the light, we as a people have to lern to work together or surely we will decline together as a country.
Guiliani promised to let the Firefighters and Police find their fallen after 9/11. He lied. When firefighters and Police continued to search, (After 3 or 4 months) Rudy had them ARRESTED. That led to 5 years later finding victims of 9/11 under a sewer grate. This "man" is a 3 time married, cross dressing, lying adulterer who married his own cousin and used our tax payers $ for security for his mistresses and girlfriends. The fact that he got this far is UNIMAGINABLE. Glad this crazed freak is all but gone.
Thank you for your run Mr Guiliani.  Good to see someone bow out with grace and class.  Best to you and your family in the days ahead.
Rudy ended the campaign the way he started and ran it - half-assed!!  In between this and the sorry way he ran for the Senate in 2000, can we please get this arrogant, egotistical fool behind us?  Doesn't this seem to reinforce the notion that he made 9/11 worse, instead of better?
dAVE Anders get a grip.  the yankees didn't vote bush in twice the south did.  now whos stupid.  should have let texas go to mexico.  its usless
So now we're maybe getting Romney, a guy born with a silvr spoon up his rear, just like the current non-president, who will favor the rich, not understand the struggles of working Americans, and try to turn the country into a semi-theocracy.  This is a change from Shrub...how?!?

Romney can speak without:

1) Leaning one elbow on the presidential podium like some hungover sailor;

2) Won't pronounce "to" as "tuh."

That's it.
