Going forward for Romney

From NBC’s Ron Allen
Romney stopped by Greg and Charlene Bennett's home in Long Beach, Calif., to show he's concerned about middle class families. In the Q and A, he said McCain showed his lack of understanding about the economy in the debate in an answer to a question about housing that "included a stream of consciousness which took in the idea of punishing people on Wall Street and a town in Norway."

On the exchange over Iraq last night, "I think he took a big detour on the strait talk express," Romney said.

Does it call into question his credentials to be president? "No I think he's a fine man," Romney said.

On endorsements, Romney basically said, Rudy and Arnold aren't surprising -- they're moderates.

On money and ad buys, Romney says it’s seven figures, but he’s not going to say where or how much for strategic reasons. “I don't think its possible to flood the airways in all 22 states," he said.

There were no ads up yesterday because they made those decisions this morning after factoring in Rudy dropping out. He's been very cagey about what states he’s targeting. We know his wife’s in Montana, one son is in Georgia and another is in Alabama. His staff has talked about a strategy that emphasizes the West and, to a lesser extent the South, ending in Massachsetts.

On money, an a aide said Romney’s raised more money than anyone else and raised more than he's "loaned" himself. And Romney is still his biggest single donor, but no exact numbers.

quick spell check fix!

"straight talk express" not "strait talk express"

ok to delete me after you fix it ;-)

Blogging versus Journalism ... the dirty awful truth ;-)

Peace!
Go Mitt!!!  That McCain sure showed what he is made of: dishonesty, liar, no values.

I'm still upset at the NON-Presidential way that McCain acted during the last debate... If he would just ADMIT he lied, it would help.
I'm thrilled that Romney cares about the campaign enough to put up some of his own hard earned money... How many of US would do that?

I'm not so sure McCain has this wrapped up... Republicans can easily win back our party Tuesday by coming out strong for Romney.

Romney IS Conservatism...  and a vote for Huckabee is merely a vote for McCain at this point.
John McCain CLEARLY LIED about Romney's call for a pull out of Iraq.  What surprises me is how media outlets, such as MSNBC, are giving him a free ride to lie?

What happened to ethics?  What happened to you guys being the political "Watch Dogs"?

Can we tell our kids that you're only looking out for the best interests of politics when IT SERVES YOU BEST?
Romney is a phony and he let McCain wipe the floor with him. Now the has his pathetic backers telling people to have Huckabee quit so he can win. Why doesn't Mitt quit and let Huckabee go try to win?
Romney has no one to blame but himself.  Has more positions than a yoga book.  Was Romney's for the taking.

I agree... McCain was a nasty-tempered old man - I can't imagine how he'd act with some REAL power.

Last night, John McCain bragged about getting the endorsement of the Arizona Republic. Not surprising, considering it's publisher is a longtime McCain political patron.

Darrow "Duke" Tully, publisher of the Arizona Republic, was one of the original supporters and financiers of McCains political ambitions way back in 1981. In fact, he introduced McCain to his wife. The two have been joined at the hip ever since.

So, when McCain brags about getting the "endorsement" of the paper, just realize it's about as significant as getting your spouse's endorsement.

Is America BLIND?
(At least the fools who are voting for McCain)

Romney is the financial genius... and we need that.

McCain will completely run our nation's money supply out chasing his tail in the Middle East!
When the nation is in an economical crisis next year remember -
I VOTED FOR ROMNEY!
Going forward is the key word here!  Mitt Romney does not need politicians to endorse him..he needs US! Endorse this man...tell everyone you know. Chances are..you will get a better economy and a better America for all our futures.
Did you catch what Romney said in the debate last night, mentioning that something like 80% of the govt's money is going into entitlement programs like social security??  That's HUGE!  We need a brilliant businessman like Romney to get the nation's finances back on track.

Hang in there, Romney!!  This is one Californian who can't wait to get a chance to vote for you!
Romney would make a great president. He's brilliant!
If you’re a Huckabee supporter, I believe you have a real crisis of conscience developing. Should you support Mike, who represents your views on social issues but is unlikely to get beyond Tuesday, or do you go with a candidate that can acutally win Romney.  Please be smart and make your vote count.
Do we really want to nominate McCain? He derailed his own campaign last year by going broke (poor management).  Hmm, maybe managerial skills are good!

Also, since when is it a crime to work hard and make money?
