Transportation workers to back Obama

Posted: Thursday, January 31, 2008 5:59 PM by Domenico Montanaro

From NBC's Domenico Montanaro and Doug Adams
The 200,000-member Transportation Workers Union will move from Edwards to Obama tomorrow, according to sources close to the union. The union would be the first national AFL-CIO union to endorse Obama. Is this the first of several former Edwards-backed unions to go to Obama now that Edwards has pulled out of the race?

The TWU represents New York City subway workers, Philadelphia bus drivers, Southwest Airlines flight attendants, baggage handlers and others. The largest union is in New York -- a Feb. 5 state -- and could play an active role there. In other Feb. 5 states, there are members in California and New Jersey.

Good.  Hillary's Wal-Mart days are about to bite her in the rear if ABCnews reports are correct.
That's not a big deal.  Here's the endorsement that should really raise eyebrows:

Karl Rove to Endorse Senator Hillary Rodham Clinton

In a surprising move today, Karl Rove announced that he will be throwing his support behind the establishment candidacy of Senator Hillary Rodham Clinton, the junior Senator from the State of New York.

“While we have historically been members of competing political parties,” Mr. Rove noted, “I have been extremely impressed by how clever Senator Clinton and her husband have been in adopting many of the strategies that I developed and perfected during my career of putting Republicans into office.”

“They used to say the ends justify the means,” continued Mr. Rove.  “I’m turning that on it’s head.  I say, “if someone believes in your means, they probably share at least some of your ends.”  That’s good enough for me.  Besides, she voted for the war in Iraq and also gave us precisely what we wanted in the Iran vote so I think she’ll be a terrific addition to the Grand Old Party after the election.””

Political observers who were contacted noted that while the move was surprising on its face, Senator Clinton has talked widely about her candidacy for change.  “What better way to prove she’s a change agent than to bring the boogie man of the George Bush Administration over to her side,” said Jim Tussert of CN-NBC.  “That’s quite a coup.”

WOW..........Not a good day for Clinton , look at all this stuff that came out today !

   THE AMERICAN NURSES ASSOCIATION ENDORSES
   SENATOR HILLARY RODHAM CLINTON (D-NY)

SILVER SPRING, MD -The Clinton Campaign today announced the endorsement of the American Nurses Association (ANA). The ANA represents the interests of the nation's 2.9 million registered nurses.
Oh my, does this not delight you? I would like to have some one put 31 million in my account, for just showing my face.

But, B.Clinton would never sell off America, OORRR be any part of under the table games! Or one could say ""IS"" he playing the dealer ""IS"". I'm astounded people would think the Clinton's would be in the surplus business???

I just love pure hard facts, especially when it comes to nailing the Clinton's asses to the wall. There something very problematic, As each time these to corrupt felons are caught there is some hole they can fall into. Their open bald face lies, a two letter word ""IS"", a coward to serve this country, but there are plenty of cowards just like him,

I just hope Mr. Obama takes over the corrupt Demo play house!!  But , yes we must see what gets delivered in the next months,, we already know ""more Clinton scandal for sure!!!
Wow, the debate is suprisingly civil and is focusing on issues!
WOOT!  Can't get any more average guy/gal then this.

YES WE CAN
YES WE WILL

We Welcome the TWA to the Obama family.  Kiss or hug your Bus driver and tell him/her we appreciate them.
And I ask again, do unions really have that much clout anymore?  They can't even get a winning candidate in the Democratic party, so their power in the general ...

I'm just saying that unions don't seem, to me, to have the power they once had.
