Iraq front and center

From NBC's Mark Murray
For the last couple of months, Iraq has virtually disappeared from the campaign trail. Indeed, opinion polls now show the economy -- not Iraq -- to be the biggest concern to Americans.

But for about the last 20 minutes, the issue returned with full force -- over the 2002 Iraq war resolution, the Levin amendment, how to withdraw from Iraq, and the use of force in general.

Obama cut to the chase on Iraq.  Hillary lacked and still lacks judgment in foreign policy to equal that of Obama's.  She aided and abetted in the initiation of this war and for this I can never support her.

I must add however, that although I am a passionate Obama supporter and feel that he has mastered his debate technique (finally), I actually enjoyed Hillary more tonight than ever.  My opposition to her is less pronounced than in the past.  Still Obama will be the next president of the United States of America!
Obama '08
I will assure you the War >>> the Economy.
--Heck, tie them together like R. Paul if you want.

But if you think the candidates will be discussing fiscal policy in the general more than the major difference between the parties on the war.  Mark Murray my words: This is the calm before the storm.  I wish the MSM could get this through their heads!
There is ample evidence that the situation in Iraq is NOT improving significantly, as the Bush Administration purports. It takes only a little bit of critical analysis and some time spent on research via the internet to locate informed reporting generated from OUTSIDE of the corporately controlled US media that shows the White House's claims of an improving life for Iraqis to be totally false.  Give me the Democratic  candidate who refuses to buy the now well-accepted line that "good things are happening Iraq," who questions every White House - and Defense Deptartment- issued report on the situation there, and I will have the candidate I want leading this country. As of now, that candidate is Barak Obama, who had the critical thinking skills back in 2003 to know when the nation was being hoodwinked into war! Sorry, Hillary - you missed it!
Obama has no foriegn policy experience. Obama doesn't even have any legislation experience. He voted present 130 times in the state senate and missed one third of the votes in the US senate. No sunstance no experience.
Yes the economy is crap, but what can you personally do about it?  Nothing except protect you money interest, if you have any.  The value of the dollar is so low that even your funds are worth less.  And now they are beginning to question our Triple Bond rating.  I can do something about the Iraq War .  The people already did in November of 2006.  When we changed the Congress and Senate.  But we did not do a good enough job.  We did not give them the majority in the Senate.  Now this Election vote for who ever gets the ticket to get us out of this War.  How much have we spent in Iraq?  Write your Senator to prevent Bush from making that agreement with Iraq that will tie the hands of the next President. No the Surge is not working.  Go to the BBC and read everything they print on Iraq and Afganistan.  They only powder puff Iraq to a degree.  But they have comments from the Iraqi People.  Something we do not get here in our Press.  Reason War is good for business.  Halibuton has made Millions.  Black Water is making millions.  So is China.  You can not believe everything you hear from News talking heads.  If you want to be informed watch C-Span.  I give koodos to Keith tonight caught the end of his statement telling about Water Boarding and aminesty for telecomucations.  Thanks Keith.  But everyone was probably watching the Debate during your program.  I caught him on a break.
