*** Going back to Cali: Both Bill Clinton and Mitt Romney return to California today, as it appears the biggest prize on Super Tuesday is actually living up to the hype. Since Florida, a day hasn't gone by without a Clinton campaigning in the Golden State -- it's become that important to the Clintons. The good news for the Clinton campaign is that California counts if they win by a vote or 10 points. Once again, the Obama campaign is seeing expectations get out of control for them. Two days ago, getting close to Clinton in California would have been a "victory." Now? Losing will be a disappointment to them and in the eyes of the media. Yesterday's L.A. rally featuring yet another celebrity endorsement (Maria Shriver), certainly adds to the Obama hype. By the way, how important is early voting to the Clinton camp these days in both California and Arizona? How likely is it Clinton loses Election Day voters in both states, but gets her margin of victory via the early vote? If Clinton wins the Golden State, it will be because of those folks who made up their mind weeks ago…

VIDEO: NBC Political Director Chuck Todd offers his first read on the effect early voting might have on the outcome of the Golden State's election results and resulting delegates.

*** Speaking of Cali... :  Romney goes back today for an unscheduled stop, as apparently the polls show it closer than the experts think. Remember, California is a Republicans-only primary, so if there ever was an electorate for Romney to target, it's this one. Plus, the state awards delegates via congressional district -- not winner-take-all -- so there are plenty of delegates to grab even if Romney loses the statewide vote to McCain, who may have too much of his vote clumped in certain areas. And then there's -- again -- the early vote issue. Remember, when California started voting in January, McCain had yet to win a primary. Romney's the only campaign that had the resources to target the early vote in January; will this preparation pay off for him tomorrow night?

*** Obama under the scope: In the last 48 hours, we’ve seen a spate of stories questioning Obama's rhetoric and record. From nukes to guns, the Illinois senator is getting some scrutiny on the issue front. It's unclear if any of this penetrates the electorate before tomorrow, but going into the post-February 5 campaign, one can see how it could be Obama under the microscope instead of the Clintons -- a change from the last two weeks. Of course, Clinton’s mandate for universal health care is getting a fair share of scrutiny as well: The RNC yesterday happily passed around an AP clip, which noted that Clinton “might be willing to garnish the wages of workers who refuse to buy health insurance to achieve coverage for all Americans.” By the way, how ecstatic are the Republicans that this Democratic race is likely to go on and now will get nastier? With half the country out of the way, both camps are going to be more comfortable going negative in these smaller state contests, be it Virginia on February 12 or Wisconsin a week after that. Remember, the party that settles its nomination last usually loses the general

*** Edwards watch: Meanwhile, if Edwards was going to endorse anyone in order to influence the Clinton-Obama race, that endorsement might come today. But a former Edwards spokesman tells NBC/NJ’s Tricia Miller that and Edwards endorsement today would be pretty unlikely. However, it is interesting to see just how many former Edwards backers are now supporting Obama. Per Miller, Reps. GK Butterfield, Jim Oberstar, and Raul Grijalva; former NARAL head Kate Michelman; California SEIU and the Transport Workers Union; and former Edwards rural adviser Dave “Mudcat” Saunders are all now backing the Illinois senator. Yet the Clinton campaign passed a list of names of former Edwards endorsers who are now supporting Clinton. Those people include three DNC members (thus superdelegates and frankly more lucractive “gets”), and several state representatives and party activists in California, New Jersey, Tennesse, and Colorado.

*** Just asking: Is it a coincidence that as Clinton is no longer leading in general election match-ups against McCain, her lead over Obama in national polls has narrowed? Or is it the other way around? Yesterday’s Washington Post/ABC poll had McCain beating Clinton, 49%-46%, yet Obama beating McCain, 49%-46%. And according to a new Cook Political Report/RT Strategies poll, McCain leads Clinton, 45%-41%, while Obama beats McCain 45%-43%.

*** Just asking, part II: Did Mitt Romney jinx Tom Brady and the Patriots? Romney yesterday told reporters -- including NBC/NJ’s Erin McPike -- that he emailed Brady his best wishes for the Super Bowl. Will the McCain campaign use that against Romney while campaigning in Boston today? It's just the type of thing McCain would say. Should be interesting.

*** Just asking, part III: Home state love. Check out the poll differences in Illinois vs. New York (and we can't wait to see some polling on the GOP side in Massachusetts). Can Obama do better in New York than Clinton does in Illinois? And why does it matter? Delegates. If Obama can break 65-70% in key districts in Illinois, he'll get some bonus delegates, ditto with Clinton in New York. Both need to run up the score in their home states. Interestingly enough, though: Clinton is saturating the New York airwaves while Obama is only advertising in St. Louis (more for targeting Missouri than Illinois). We'll see which strategy pays off. And speaking of delegates, a quick Dem tutorial for folks watching the delegate fight: The threshold for bonus delegates depends on the number of delegates up for grabs in a particular state or district. The range is anywhere from 59% to 70%, so check your rules before playing the allocation game.

*** On the trail: Clinton campaigns in New Haven, CT and Worcester, MA, holds her national town hall at 9:00 pm ET, and appears on Letterman; Huckabee is in Tennessee and Arkansas; McCain stumps in Boston and New Jersey before holding a press conference in New York City; Obama holds rallies in East Rutherford, NJ, Hartford, CT, and Boston; Paul is in North Dakota and Minnesota; and Romney hits Tennessee and Georgia before heading back to California.

[OH the spin!  I am still asking what is a Barack Obama?  We are dizzy from the the hype and the appearance of the saviour from out of the wild blue yonder!]

And who is Hillary Clinton? What 35 years of experience?  The only experience she has seems to be with lining her pockets with cold hard cash. And just now we are hearing about how she gets universal health coverage - by taxing the living breath out of every worker in the country.

Funny what you find out when Hillary stops spinning.
Ron, TX: '...There shouldn't be early voting.  It makes zero sense.  In California for example, people have now wasted their vote on Edwards, and can't change their vote...'

Sorry, Ron.... that's the wave of the future in Cal
Permanent absentee voters are gaining in strength
My whole family is registered as permanent absentee
It gives us a chance to study the issues/propsitions and vote from home.

It'll bite Obama this time, but it's here to stay

Obama '08

PS
Edwards is endorsing Breck extra body shampoo  ;-D
Joan Baez has no brain left from extensive drug abuse in the 60's and Maria Shriver married Ahhhnold, who is a stinken republican and she would follow her husband off a cliff at this point. And Keillors writing is quite inpressive but he's a total wus of the male species, quite like Obama himself. Yet another John Kerry, nice but totally unable to go up against the right wingers, ANY republicans. Wimpy, wimpy, wimpy. Thats why Chris Matthews, Scarborough and other repubs are frothing at the mouth for Obama to win. Its called advanced politics folks. REALITY! The Clintons know and understand this.
Obama is intimitated by Hillary AND his own wife for gosh sakes! Everybody needs to get their heads out of their butts and vote for Hillary. She can and will win if nominated and the republicans know this.
Talk about making the "correct" decisions, Obama selected the "favorate" New England to win the Super Bowl, They "loose". Hillary Clinton, chose New York and they "win". Now there is some good decision making, come see why...hillaryclinton.com
If Obama can beat the Republican in the Gneral, that it had better be Obama in the general election, don't you think?
As a Californian I am concerned that we have an important part to play in this show - but I don't know that anyone has told the average Californian who may not yet be fully engaged and realise how much is at stake.....
Chuck Todd - My husband and I have argued about whether you were biased in favor of Hillary. I have always thought yes - my husband, no. But this morning with this post and your appearance on MSNBC he has come over to my side.

It is such Clintonian spin - a Mark Penn dirty trick - to say it will be a disappointment to both Obama and the media if Obama loses in California. ARE YOU KIDDING ME? Obama was double-digit points behind Hillary two weeks ago. The ABSENTEE voting has been going on for a month. SO... is it really logical to believe that Obama could make up the 50% of votes that have ALREADY BEEN CAST? He is surging now, and will probably win the majority of late-voters, but to say he can overcome 50% that were cast as long as a month ago is to buy into a sleazy spin by Mark Penn. To say that it will be a huge  disappointment if Obama loses the CA popular vote is an absolutely pro-Hillary statement. You convinced my husband, Chuck, therefore, that you must be in Hillary's corner. Thanks, Chuck - you proved me right.
FRO THE LIFE OF ME I CAN'T UNDERSTAND ANYONE WOULD VOTE DEMOCRAT.  WHETHER HILLARY OR OBAMA, YOU CAN BE ASSURED YOUR TAXES WILL RISE AND RISE.  ARE WE ON THE WAY TO BECOMING A SOCIALIST COUNTRY?  IS OUR ROLE MODEL THE EUROPEAN SYSTEM?  LOOK WHERE ITS GOTTEN THEM.  THIS COUNTRY HAS ALWAYS BEEN HEAVILY CAPITALISTIC AND ITS SERVED US WELL FOR CENTURIES.  REMEMBER-BE CAREFUL WHAT YOU WISH FOR.
I can't vote for a President who doesn't have a track record of public works. ACTION speaks louder than RHETORIC WORDS people. What did BARACK HUSSEIN OBAMA ever do to our country? Can you really see this country's future if we vote for him?
We need someone who can save our plunging economy - and the CLINTONs have that track record. Unless you want to wake up one day and find out that the value of your home is less than what you owe, because your neighborhood is not safe to live at. Or if you buy milk, and a dozen eggs would cost you $10 (more than the minimum wage). It's not too late people, know your priorities, write the pros and cons, chose the best for yourself and your family, most of all don't forget to vote!!!
HAS ANYONE THOUGHT OF "BOYCOTTING" NBC, MSNBC, CNN, FOX ETC. FOR SLANDER OF HILLARY AND PRESIDENT BILL CLINTON AND TRYING TO SWAY AN IMPORTANT PRESIDENTIAL ELECTION WITH THEIR MEDIA BULLYING. I AM SICK OF ALL THIS TWISTING OF THE FACTS AND TRYING TO SWAY THE VOTERS TOWARD A SELECTED UNKNOWN, UNTESTED CANDIDATE SUCH AS OBAMA JUST TO GET HIGHER RATINGS. I REALLY LIKED THE MAN JUST MONTHS AGO UNTIL THE CABLE TV STATIONS AND RADIO JERKS STARTED A CAMPAIGN OF THEIR OWN! YOU HAVE STARTED A RACE WAR IN THE 2000s THAT WE CAN NEVER RECOVER FROM. I WANT A PRESIDENT WHO IS BATTLE TESTED AND READY TO STAND UP AGAINST THE SMEARS AND LIES THAT THE REPUBLICANS ARE NOTED FOR! I HAVE ALWAYS DEFENDED BUT NEVER VOTED FOR HER HUSBAND, BUT COME TO ADMIRE HIS HANDLING OF THE COUNTRY'S ECONOMY AND POLITICAL MATTERS OF THIS PROUD NATION. I, FOR ONE, WILL NOT VOTE IF OBAMA WINS THE PRIMARYS. I AM SO DISAPPOINTED IN CHRIS MATTHEWS, KEITH OBERMAN, JOE SCARBOURO, TIM RUSSERT, WOLF BLITZER, ANDREA MITCHELL AND ALL THE OTHER "PREVIOUSLY ETHICAL" JOURNALISTS. YOU ARE NOW OFF MY "MUST WATCH" LIST. MAY GOD FORGIVE YOU ALL!.
Now that the conservative media have brainwashed people to support Obama (national polls, and Clinton bashing) The Media has begun TODAY to RIP OBAMA to shreads and burry him with his record.

It is truely a good day for Republicans.

Videotapes of debates and speeches that were obtained by The Washington Times show that Mr. Obama took positions during his Senate campaign on nearly a half-dozen issues ranging from the Cuba embargo to health care for illegal aliens that conflict with statements that he has made during his run for the White House.

For example, in MSNBC’s Oct. 30 presidential debate, Mr. Obama hesitantly raised his hand and joined with most of his Democratic rivals to declare he opposed decriminalizing marijuana. (See clip below.)

But as a U.S. Senate candidate, Mr. Obama told Illinois college students in January 2004 he supported eliminating criminal penalties for marijuana use or possession, a debate video shows.

“I think we need to rethink and decriminalize our marijuana laws,” Mr. Obama said during a debate at Northwestern University. “But I’m not somebody who believes in legalization of marijuana.”(See clip below.)

When confronted with the statements on the video, Obama’s campaign offered two explanations to The Times in less than 24 hours. At first, Obama spokesman Tommy Vietor said the candidate had “always” supported decriminalizing marijuana, suggesting that his 2004 statement was correct. Then after The Times posted copies of the video on its Web site, www.washingtontimes.com, yesterday, his campaign reversed course and declared he does not support eliminating criminal penalties for marijuana possession and use.

Assuming Obama can’t tell when he is lifting up his arm to vote (green “Yes” voting buttons and red “No” voting buttons also confuse Obama), why did he not bother to clarify his position the day after the debate? Who is this guy? Check out the videos.

And it’s not just confusion about pot smoking. There is more smoke coming out of Obama.

Mr. Obama’s differing answers on marijuana are among five conflicts between positions he took while running for Senate in 2004 and those he now articulates while running for president, a review of debate tapes shows. Experts said the likely reason for the changes was that Mr. Obama ran as a liberal during his Senate run but has become more centrist as he pursues the broad coalition required to win the White House. [snip]

In a 2003 forum on health care, Mr. Obama said he supported the children of illegal aliens’ receiving the same benefits as citizens, “whether it’s medical, whether it’s in-state tuition.” Asked specifically whether he included “undocumented” people, Mr. Obama replied, “Absolutely.”(See clip below.)

But in a CNN debate Jan. 21, when Mr. Obama was asked whether his health care proposal covers illegal aliens, he said “no” and that he first wants to cover the U.S. citizens and legal residents without health care.

In 2004, Mr. Obama told an audience at Southern Illinois University, “I think it’s time for us to end the embargo with Cuba. … It’s time for us to acknowledge that that particular policy has failed.”(See clip below.)

However, he stopped short of calling for an end to the embargo in a Miami Herald op-ed in August. He said he would rely on diplomacy, with a message that if a post-Fidel Castro government made democratic changes, the U.S. “is prepared to take steps to normalize relations and ease the embargo.”

“Senator Obama has consistently said that U.S. policy toward Cuba has failed,” Mr. Vietor said.

In an October 2003 NAACP debate, Mr. Obama said he would “vote to abolish” mandatory minimum sentences. “The mandatory minimums take too much discretion away from judges,” he said.(See clip below.)

Mr. Obama now says on his Web site, www.barackobama.com, that he would “immediately review sentences to see where we can be smarter on crime and reduce the ineffective warehousing of nonviolent drug offenders.”

When shown transcripts of the videos, Mr. Vietor said: “The American people want a president who is going to be honest with them and talk about how we can tackle the challenges we face.”

The Times obtained the video footage of the public debates from a variety of sources, ranging from open sources such as YouTube to political operatives who oppose Mr. Obama’s presidential campaign or his Senate bid in Illinois. Mrs. Clinton’s campaign, for instance, recently released footage on its Web site of a 2004 speech in which Mr. Obama spoke about universal health care, accusing him of a flip-flop.(See clip below.)

Mr. Obama told an AFL-CIO group in June 2003: “I happen to be a proponent of a single-payer, universal health care plan.” But in a recent debate he said he has never endorsed such a plan.

Just who is this guy? It’s like buying a nickle bag of pot and getting oregano.

Today, the New York Times (finally) bothers to examine (at this late date) Obama’s voting record and entanglements.

When residents in Illinois voiced outrage two years ago upon learning that the Exelon Corporation had not disclosed radioactive leaks at one of its nuclear plants, the state’s freshman senator, Barack Obama, took up their cause.

Mr. Obama scolded Exelon and federal regulators for inaction and introduced a bill to require all plant owners to notify state and local authorities immediately of even small leaks. He has boasted of it on the campaign trail, telling a crowd in Iowa in December that it was “the only nuclear legislation that I’ve passed.”

“I just did that last year,” he said, to murmurs of approval.

A close look at the path his legislation took tells a very different story. While he initially fought to advance his bill, even holding up a presidential nomination to try to force a hearing on it, Mr. Obama eventually rewrote it to reflect changes sought by Senate Republicans, Exelon and nuclear regulators. The new bill removed language mandating prompt reporting and simply offered guidance to regulators, whom it charged with addressing the issue of unreported leaks.

Clinton 2008!!!!!
The reason the Clinton's threw out the California bait is because they want the nedia to focus on that state (where they are pretty safe due to early voting) and not on the big surprise. She's going to lose New Jersey and Missouri - states where she was up by double digits a week ago. It's all a magic trick by Carville. Watch California! Ignore the losses in states she would have won by a ton last week. The Clintons are still slick.
Obama has caused many Americans to re-think who and what they are.  We all long for the days when we were all Americans.  Not red-Americans or blue-Americans.  Not conservative-Americans or liberal-Americans.  Now, it appears this is reaching into the ethnicities of America, also.  Maybe it is time to lose the ethnic prefix to our Americanism, too?  I wrote an essay that was published in several papers across the country last week about this subject.  The title was, among others, "Drop the Dash; Be a full American" and the supportive response was huge!  check out www.dropthedash.com and leave comments on the guestbook.  let's make America the country it was meant to be....a country full of Americans...Drop the Dash!!!!
Wake Up America !!!!
Let's not step in it again !!!
No Slick Willy or Venomous Hillary PLEASE!! ENOUGH IS  ENOUGH !!!
Sen. Barack Obama for President of these United States !!
Chuck Todd and Keith Olbermann should make reservations at the local emergency room after Sen. Obama wipes Hillary and Slick Willy off the map !!!!!
Obama does not have my vote! I don't understand voters and the news media falling all over this guy when he is an "unknown" candidate with very little experience, yet he can "preach" a pretty sermon!  Let's see what the news media says come 2/25/08 when REZKO trial starts! The "saviour" you all are falling for may just "fall from grace"...at least I won't look "stupid"!
I find it hard to believe anyone would take Hillary seriouly. If you went to upstate New York they hate her up there, but because of the population of New York City they put her into office, after bubba paid good money for it by releasing a few hundred Puerto Rican criminals, but no body remembers that.
Interesting all the Kennedy endorsments of Obama and even the comparisons of him to JFK and Camelot. Wasn't JFK at least as much of a womanizer as Bill?  I think we have forgotten the only difference was the inablility of the press to expose him.  So if you are going to compare Obama and JFK better leave the "morals" of any Clinton out of the mix.
How can anyone vote for John McCain, a man who divorced his wife, who worked day and night to get him free, after she was critically injured in a serious car accident while he was in Viet Nam. He came home to a woman who was injured and chose to dump her and find someone who met his expectations for his dreams. Is this who you want as a canidate.
It is absolutely amazing to me when there is a discussion about EXPERIENCE and a belittling of Obama and glorifying of Hilliary.

Obama has pulled HIMSELF up by his bootstraps, is brillant, is ahead of the curve and a visionary that has pulled up his sleeves and WORKED.  Although it is said that he is a great "speaker"--i.e. entertainer, ministral, etc... but no substance-- this is insulting and ignorant.

On the other hand--- Hillary is married (loveless fake marriage) to an ex president, had ONE major public initiative which she lead which FAILED miserably, NEVER had an elected office until the Senate seat for which she ran in a state that she didn't live in...hmmmm why not Arkansas???, Anyway--her "experience" was that she slept with a President--well maybe not "slept" with as we know that that was not happening.... but anyway was publically married to a former President.  What the heck else has she done except for stand by her man as he lay with hundreds of women?  Oh,  I'm sorry she insulted me-- a working, educated woman in a male dominated profession by CRYING on national TV in order to get silly people to vote for her.

Further, look at all of the special interest, lobby dollars that have poured into her campaign.  We know from Whitewater and other scandals that the Clintons are easily bought.... do you think that they are not coming back to cash in on the dollars that they put in?

I am a self made woman with my own credentials, vision and ethics.  I am voting for Barack Obama in 2008 and have never voted for a Republican-- however if Hilliary wins the primary I will vote for ANYONE but her.

I am sick of George Bush AND the Clintons--- trust me this is a way for Bill to get back in the White House and I think that in this country 3 terms are not allowed.  I don't want the dirt and mess  of another Clinton in the White House.  Certainly not a woman that is in a loveless, shameful, sham of a marriage to a seriel adulterer and is herself a bold liar.  This is what we want for this country?  As a woman-- I don't want this to be how women achieve in politics or any other profession--based on their husbands!  Insulting!
All I have heard from Obama is that he is going to change Washington. He hasn't said how he is going to change Washington. Our constitution was written and signed about 235 years ago. We don't need it wrecked any more than it has been.
The position of President requires a "Leader" not a 'Manager'(or 'Administrator'). A leader inspires, leads and unites. A manager performs day-to-day tasks of making sure the little things are humming along. This is why the actor Ronald Reagan was great because he led and let managers(the Secretaries) do the managing or administering. All the President(leader) has to do is pick the right managers to do the micromanagement for him. Between, hillary and obama, hillary is the good administrator but obama is the better leader hands down. There lies the difference.
If you guys want more of the hatefulness and divisiveness in both the clinton and bush administrations, then elect hillary, just don't be surprised if the republicans are going to use her for continuous rounds of spiteful hateful attackes and vice-versa. If your a masochist and enjoy hearing and watching on TV that kind of mudslinging then be my guest, and not only that you will be perpetuating  revolving door dynasties: bush-clinton-bush-clinton.

In all my years of voting, I have never seen a candidate run for president who runs on a speechwriters words, sounds good, one gets so impressed.  But where is the media, who most people rely on for info, on questioning so much on Sen. Obama.  Yesterday morning I read the front page of the NY Times on Sen. Obama and the nuclear energy bill he says he passed (he didn't) and not one talking head on TV even brought it up.  Other than a reporter many weeks back from the Washington Post writing about the church that Mr. Obama belongs to...not one talking head discusses this.  But I'll bet the Republicans are sitting and waiting and chopping at the bit if Sen. Obama gets the nomination.  What gives???????
I just don't get all the hype over Obama.  His rhetoric sounds like the same thing we heard eight years ago from George Bush -- another inexperienced candidate who promised to bring a kinder, gentler America together. We lived in a dangerous world then and underestimated what we would need in a president and I fear we may be doing the same thing again.
It is rediculous to me that people are crying about casting early ballots in CA. Why would people change their mind so much in one day? Maybe because Oprah has popped back up and with out her Obama wouldn't stand a chance. The guy has no experience and a sketchy background.

I attended a rally for Mrs. Clinton where she talked in depth about her stance on ALL of the issues. She is poised, graceful, humble, and articulate and I am convinced that she is by far the smart choice for President! In my opinion, with the mess our Country is in right now, we are fools to not put her in office!
Look, Romney should win the GOP nomination. Period. Don't hold his wealth against him; if you do then you're simply jealous. He is spending hiw OWN money to run for President because it's a cause he's believes in and he CAN make a change! Simply being a war hero DOES NOT (and let me repeat again) DOES NOT make you qualified for President. It qualifies McCain in ONE issue: National Security. We've heard him admit he doesn't have a clue about the economy and he's all for amnesty. Consider how he would do with multiple issues and then tell me if you think he'd be a good President. He took cheap shots at Romney and you ALL know it. Why do you want a President with no character? Get over your personal biases with Romney and look for who would be the MOST qualified at beating a Democrat! It's not about you, it's about this nation. Do what's best for the Republican party. Speaking of which, still no clue why Huckabee and Paul are even in this race....
I'll never vote for a man whose greatest achievement was Chicago community activist.  As the ex CEO of GE said today, "He is a great speaker, but I'll never vote for him."
"do you just think that if a person is not your candidate you must tear them down as republicans do democrats???"

Ummm, have you been watching the debates and speeches.  If I had a dollar for every time I heard, "We need to end the tyranny of the Republicans," or "we need to stand together against the evilness of the Republicans," I'd be able to retire early.  All that I've heard in the past few months, is one Republican or another, or all in general, being blamed for every single evil act in the world, or being blamed for every problem.  Look at your own words, you're attacking an entire party while accusing them of the same actions.  A perfect example of the hypocracy that's unfortunately shown by so many Democrats lately.  Morally, the only choice I have this election is to vote Republican, as all I hear on the other end is false accusations and proposals which rob from the lower class and attack businesses (which just affects the lower class even more by jacking up consumer costs and eliminating job opportunities), all in the guise of helping the needed.  Watch the debates, there's a very noticeable difference between the Democrats and the Republicans running this term, and it's not the left that's taking the majority of the attacks.
Thanks Chuck; I just hope that more and more people keep doing the same thought process; really going thru the issues to make their choice.

Go Obama Go!  YES WE CAN!
Gina 1:18 PM ....
Well said. Why is the media NOT reminding the public that Clinton, while playing president, was offered bin laden (more than once) by Sudan and the Clintons refused. Also Clinton had one of the pilots who flew into the WTC on 9/11 in custody an released him. Refusing to keep that terriorist in prison. Is this what we want again... another 9/11 after they were finished playing president again.... AND Clinton is the reason that all our jobs went to other countries. The American people need to be reminded of all the Clintons have done for our country.
I say this. a INDEPENDENCE PARTY!!! There will be no REAL change until a real change is made. Not a single one of these candidates are going to try and make any change at all. Why? Because they are all tied to PAC money and Big Business. Until we get that out of government than there will be no change.
Go to MNIP.ORG for what we are about.
I will never vote for either party again.
How is being first lady for eight years experince for the commander in chief it's not, if you elect Hilary you elect Bill not Hillary.
Someone mentioned on here that Hillary is "spinning" the truth about her healthcare plan, how about the media is spinning the truth on her healthcare plan. I heard it straight from Mrs. Clinton herself and she wants a system that has people paying in what they can based on income. Get a clue: HEALTHCARE needs serious reform and she is the ONLY candidate that cares and will get us there!!!

FACT: In a State University auditorium full of students and educators 3/4's of the room raised their hands that either themselves or someone they knew did not have ANY healthcare benefits, including myself!

FACT: Taxpayers spend BILLIONS of dollars every year to cover the un-insured. I persoanally know someone that has ran up a bill of over $750,000 that is coming straight out of the pockets of you and I!

FACT: Hillary Clinton is the only candidate who has demonstrated that she cares and is actually going to get something done about this issue. She is presenting a plan that is not only good for the lower and middle-class citizens but the economy over-all!

Get a clue people, in my opinion the Republican owned media institutions slandering Mrs. Clinton are shaking in their boots because they know she is actually going to do something for the Middle Class and people like you and me! Are we really stupid enough to let them do this to us!?!?
Why is Huckabee still here? Why is he targeting Romney in his stump speeches lately doesn't he know McCain is ahead in the polls? Strange.
If the candidates for President included Clinton..I WILL VOTE FOR ANOTHER REPUBLICAN OR THE INDEPENDENT...to me that would be the lesser of two evils...I as a woman have worked under administrations with both a male and female in power and I got more respect for the male in power than the female...this has happened under 2 females and 2 males and everytime the woman in power treated all females like dirt and showed little or NO RESPECT for other females....SO I could only imagine what Hillary Clinton would do since it was only the women who mess around with Bill...it was all their faults and not Billy Boys fault... SO I SAY NO TO ANOTHER CLINTON IN THE WHITE HOUSE>>>HELL NO<<<<<<

Nothing will change if you vote for Obama or Romney or any one of the "two party system" candidates. The faces and names will change but it will still be the same ole crap. It's too bad that the only candidate with a plan to change this country has been ignored by the media, as they were paid to ignore him.
While I don't support any of the Democrats running this term, Obama stands a reasonable chance as voters seem to be switching to him rather rapidly.  Many are starting to comment on her "experience", realizing that she has no relevant experience to lead in the White House.  After so many months, questions are finally being asked regarding her extensive resume.  The most basic way of putting it, if someone has 30 years experience as a, for example, a lawyer, then despite the strong work experience the person has no qualifications to be a doctor.  She lived in the White House as First Lady.  Sleeping there doesn't grant experience; the cook lived there longer, does that make him qualified?  She has legal experience.  Ok, how does that grant experience as an economist, which is supposed to be the main focus and job for the President.  As a Senator, looking at her time in service it can be seen that she still doesn't have the necessary economic experience.  As far as relevance goes, Obama has a smaller resume but more of it applies to the actual job that both are fighting for.  I think that if she keeps focusing on experience, she stands no chance of winning.  More and more I see questions being asked regarding that actual experience, and she can state very little which actually fits with the specific job being applied for, and she proves that lack of experience with every proposal of hers, failing to note to the people the extensive cost and how every so-called assistance program costs the individuals more than they receive in return.  Even ignoring her shady past and unethical practices, she simply doesn't have the knowledge and capabilities, as shown in her actions and work experience.

You seem to know an awful lot about the personal bedroom life of Hillary.  Who's your informed source?  I am sure Obama's court would love to have it. They could do some real damage to the Hillary court.  Base your judgements of the candidates on what's important not on emotional drivel.  If you llike Obama because you think he's really the best vote for him but leave the low unsubstantiated slurs out of it.  Politics is dirty enough.
We've had a businessman in the White House for the past seven-plus years and look what that has achieved.  I am voting for a candidate who is comfortable with diversity and who will restore the U.S.'s status in the world.  Neither Abraham Lincoln nor John F. Kennedy had any CEO experience or, for that matter, much political experience when he took over.  Yet, they rate far above some of the presidents who had "experience" in politics or as a CEO. We need Barack Obama!
One question: What has Mr. Obama done for the citizens of Illinois so far. We still don't have usury laws, the Check-and-Go's still suck the blood of the citizens and are still in business. Employers still have all the rights (not like in California). And, by the way, what are those CHANGES he is talking about?
It's amazing to me how everyone talks about how Obama is "all talk and no action". Please define to me what deems "action to be action". He graduated Magna Cum Laude for Harvard Law, worked as a civil rights attorney in Southside Chicago, taught constitutional/civil rights law and Unv. of Chicage, worked tiredlessly for as an Illinois legislator and US Senator. Yes, he is a brillant speaker, but all you have to do is check the facts to see that he is so much more. He was very specific about the issues in the debate, and if you need further proof, check out his website. He has overcome so much in his life, and the fact that he is able to be a viable candidate for president, says that he got to this point by more than just rhetoric. Try perserverance, diligence, hard-work, intelligence, courage, suppport, and a fighting spirit. Give the man some credit. He's not a village idiot like our current president, and to compare him is just plain absurd.
I have thought about and living here in Illinois...Ive decided to go for Clinton. PS MSNBC you run the most biased of all the news channels..Period Are you guys in Obama's pocket or are you afraid if you say anything you'll be called Racist and be the next Imus???  Msnbc is one (though small) I'm voting for Hillary!  She should thank you MSNBC
If Obama wins anything, he should thank the media. He is a "speaker", only, but are we really seeing the man for what he is. The media always wants a good story. He does not have the experience to lead the country, unless he gets himself another "Dick Chaney" to tell him what to do in foreign policy issues. We know how that works. Clinton is strong and knows what she is doing and has worked with all the issues America is troubled with at this time. If we think for a moment America would be better off without a "political" person leading the country I am sure all our enemies will be very pleased with Obama as America's president. I and many many others will cast our votes for Clinton.  The ones who cast their votes for Obama should, instead, tune into a good movie and cheer for the slick talker to get the next contract.    Hillary!!!!!
Why isn't Barack Obama using his middle name HUSSEIN? For someone who talks about equality, maybe he doesn't want to be prejudiced because the name reminds us of "someone evil" who meant us harm.
I'm a african-american female registered dem. in the state of ca. I'm following the money and past performance, sadley I'm unwilling to vote for Obama or Clinton.  Is it too late to change my party affiliation?

A month or so ago I viewed a tape on youtube about Obama refusing to place his hand over his heart during the national anthem. This disturbed me so bad, to think that we might actually have a president, who refuses to wear a flag pin ( seems meaningless, yes} but what message does this send to other countries? I mean we are at war in 2 countries, patriotism should count especially in a presiden. And this made me wander if he wasn't sending some kind of message to the Arab coutries. He is part Mosslim isn't he? I disagreed with the war from the begining but made me wander what his reasons were for voting against the war. I got this youtube video of Obama in an email and have never seen it televised on any news station. WHY? I think it is something the american people should see before they cast their vote. Wonder if maybe the republican run news media is saving it to play when it comes down to Obama and the republican nominee. Go to you tube and check it out. Very disturbing to me.
It is delusional to think that politics will be any different in the future if Obama wins the Democratic nomination. If Obama wins, he will be attacked just as viciously and constantly as Hillary will be. Look at the internet trash about him being a Muslim because you will be seeing that in national ads. It amazes me when people say Hillary is too devisive. It is not Hillary that is devisive, it is the country that is divided. What happens is Republican politics, pure and simple. Either candidate will be slandered, lied about and swift boated. Vote for the one you think can take the heat, or the one you think can rise above it, or whatever other criteria you have, but don't vote  for Obama because the other side has not as yet demonized him. The winner of the nomination will be demonized enough by the Republicans without the help of Democratic voters.
People keep harping on Obama's lack of executive experience, but fail to acknowledge that Hillary Clinton also lacks executive experience.  Being married to a former president doesn't make you presidential.  Obama was a state legislator for some 6-8 years.  As a result, Obama and Hillary Clinton have almost the same amount of legislative experience, but neither candidate has any executive experience.
Present votes, missed button votes, did everyone miss his explaination on a present vote for a bill he authored...he said it came to his attention it would not pass judicial scurtiny...if he is such a brillant lawyer,,,why did he author a bill that would not pass judical review?  Talk about pandering..Obama is truly a scirpted POLITICIAN...WAKE UP AMERICA BEFORE ITS TOO LATE!!!
