I guess Obama wasn't quite white enough for the good people of Arkansas.
What if Thompson had not been in South Carolina? Huck would have beaten Mcain with those Thompson votes. Would he be the leader now??
I find it completely inane and foolish for MSNBC to call the race in favor of Clinton 3 minutes after the polls closed... the next scene on TV was showing the vote totals... 0% votes in, 0 votes for Clinton, Edwards, or Obama...HOW CAN THEY CALL IT WITH NO VOTES IN???  The media needs to stop calling races with less than 50% of the votes in!!
I cannot believe what I have just seen. With the projected winners in Arkansas I looked at the state projections and I read "0" % reporting and not one number tallied. I saved the screen to E-Mail to MSNBC later. This is just wrong.
uhhh, its called exit polls
I agree, how in the world do you call a state two seconds after the polls close. That is just ridiculous.
Not white enough? What a foolish point. Hillary is the former first lady of this state, so she is damn well known here and should absolutely have had no problem winning.
People need to stop and think about what this race means. Before the Bush admin took office there was a booming economy, no war, jobs were up and crime was down, now look at the mess the country is in. But you can thank the people who put him into office. So the next time you hear about another life lost, another job gone down the tubes, another crime spree, or the recession, thank a republican!
Low and behold again the news is avoiding saying anything about Ron Paul. AMERICA wise up if you want the US to survive better get with the revolution
Ron Paul is way too extreme in his views (sometiems I wodner if in a certain way it is like Islamic extremism or a fired up  nationalism), and that is why the media fears him and fears being portrayed as advocating conservative American values in an age of emerging democracy.
Let's see?  Was it Bush that signed the Trade Agreement which resulted in so many U S jobs moving overseas and Mexico?  Or was that Clinton?   Maybe Joan from NV can help with this.
Hey people, elections can be projected before the polls close using exit polling.  It's done all the time and it is usually correct unless local weather conditions block a certain group of voters.
Whoever imagined a US president named BARACK HUSSEIN. He is not going to win in the National elections. Its just not going to happen.
Mike Huckabee is the greatest Gov. we ever had in Arkansas. $918 million budget surplus last year in this so-called backward state. Our schools are improving by leaps and bounds, crime is down, business is booming for most folks, and our infrastructure is getting better with each passing month. The only reason the rest of the country is lucky enough to have the chance to vote for Huckabee for President is that he term-limited out in Arkansas. Or we would STILL have him. And Huckabee is only a republican because there is no real viable third party. The man had to work with a house and senate of almost all Dems here in Arkansas for his entire career as Gov. Vote Smart!
well you also have to look at what happend as soon as PRESIDENT Bush took office. At that point when the decsion was made to go to war every one agreed and once you go into something like that you can't just pull out! People need to stop and think about that.

we need clinton in to straighten out this mess Bush put us in she can do it. we dont need someone there that hollows race race race. thats what obahama is doing.he will tear this world apart.
Clinton has gotten/taken a lot credit for the economy while he was in office.  In reality it was Reagan's policies that just took that long to see it's effects.
Not white enough? I agree that this was a foolish point to be made by the first poster.  Hillary would naturally be expected to finish well in her home state. I wish people could get beyond their visceral responses to the democratic candidates.  Unfortunately, since the candidates are so similar on the issues it's difficult to decide between the two of them - i.e. if you actually examine their platforms rather than make a decision based on emotions.  I think that Obama is succeeding in catching up with Hillary because of the "change" rhetoric.  But what specifically does he mean by change?  Does he have a specific plan or the experience necessary to implement change or is it just rhetoric?  Also I believe that Obama is succeeding with the younger generation because young people think black=cool, Obama=cool.  What college aged kid wants to vote for someone who reminds them of their mother?  I challenge any Obama supporter to be self reflective about their choice.  Is it really about Obama's platform or are you just uncomfortable with a woman in a leadership position?  The reality is that Obama will continue to draw white male voter through his rhetoric (independents and conservatives alike) who are threatened by the idea of a woman as president. Incidently, Ralph Nadar made an interesting point when he stated that neither Obama or Clinton is much different from one another because they both pander to corporate interests - except Obama is more abstract in his rhetoric and censors himself constantly (much like slick willy, he adapts to whoever he's talking to..)  From this perspective, a defeat by Obama over Hillary is not much of a moral victory.  The question will be whether he can walk the walk.
Again, it could take days for Arkansas to actually certify any elections - we have been hammered by tornadoes and complet communities have been wiped out!  0% is right - a lot of counties are without power and Pulaski County is down!!!!
Play Greenville it was Clinton and it was the worst disgrace in his administration. It was a Reagan/Bush program so it would have been done by Bush if he had won but it was Clinton also who balanced the budget and created several million new jobs reduced the number of people on welfare put thousands more police on the street or was that something Ronald Reagan did 17 years earlier with his voodoo economics which Bush is still pushing.
If Obama is not white enough, Is Hillary not black enough for Oprah?
yawn....Ron Paul who?? ---Huckelberry who??....Zzzzzzzzzzzzzzz
This is so sad. MSNBC has not covered the devastation in Arkansas, however have covered the Tenn tornado coveraage.  BUT saddest of all Huck just got through doing his song and dance LIVE in LR and DID NOT EVEN acknowledge what has occured in his so called HOME state.  Life is NOT good for Arkansans today....much lost, many lives and plenty of damage - way to go HUCK and HILL no mention what so ever of our reality!!!!
