This is interesting seeing as CNN shows Edwards with the lead in vote totals so far and as of about 15 seconds ago still showed Obama had none.  So, how on earth is Utah declared at this time?  I'm not saying he won't win it, I just think it is still extremely premature in this case.
Poor Obamarama

Even with the endorsement of Massachusetts Governor Deval Patrick, and the endorsement of Massachusetts two United States Senators.  One being Ted Kennedy, you know, he’s a 45 year veteran of the US Senate.   Wow, has it only been 45 years.  Talk about a blast from the past not to mention someone being connected and part of the Washington establishment.  And lets not forget about the other US Senator from Massachusetts, John Kerry, who has been in the US Senate for 23 years, ok so he’s only half as connected as Ted Kennedy, and ran in 2004 as the Democratic nominee and lost.

I guess all of those big name, hugely Washington D.C. connected and established representations of the past don’t amount to much after all!

Go Hillary!
Jose, I believe in your haste to gloat you overlooked the obvious... he was able to chip away at Senator Clinton's once sizeable lead, do you comprehend?
nbs is retarded!! obama wins 7 states as if they were actually important!!!!!! EVERYBODY WAS WATCHING MASS- MISSOURI AND CALIFORNIA- OBAMA WAS BLOWN OUT IN THE FIRST TWO- MISSOURI WAS WORTH MORE THAN 4 OF THE STATES OBAMA WON
Russert and Matthew's will be crying in their beers tonight, after all the hard work they and the rest of the MSNBC crew put into beating Hillary she is still standing. I guess they had as much impect as uncle Ted.
Jose (Sent Tuesday, February 05, 2008 10:14 PM)
You said it, Jose.
"the past don’t amount to much after all!"

people want a new path, a new way.
Kennedy, Kerry, Clinton and Clinton are the past.
The Republicans don't have a Bush in this race, we had damn well better not put up a Clinton as our nominee.
But if she is then Go Hillary!
But until then...GOBAMA!
I am a senior citizen and a retired political editor and I can say that I have never seen journalists as prejudiced as they have become in this presidential election. They simply refuse to let go of issues that really should be ignored. I congratulate Congresswoman Waters (D-CA) for refusing to discuss the racial issues that the big name members of the Fourth Estate are continuously attempting to expand.Race and religion doesn't make a good or bad office holder. It is what's between his/her ears that should be emphasized.
Arkansas already forgot Whitewater.

If the Clintons get back in the White House would they kindly not steal the furniture next time.

Remember the 900 FBI files that mysteriously surfaced in the White House.

Is Mrs Bill Clinton a  New Yorker or a carpetbagger
I'm just glad that a Christian Conservative wont be in the white house for a long time to come.......nightmare over! (On January 20!)
I am wondering what is up with Utah. It shows Hillary leading , but you called it for Obama???
Plus Hillary should win Missouri by 10%

Rough night for the news media ...lol
what are you people talking about?
This blog is about Utah and North Dakota?

Can't you find a more pertinent place to complain?

PS: there are 50 states --
Robert in Houston, I'm certain that Senator Clinton appreciates you reducing those states imporantance as nothing more than a blip, let's see if they matter come November.  Don't count your chickens before they hatch.
Sen Kennedy was going to stay neutral but was compelled to get into the race when Bill Clinton was so out of control in SC
He endorsed Sen Obama last Monday - that was 8 days ago -- Sen Clinton was 20 pts ahead until 2 weeks ago - they made up a lot of ground in a short period of time--
Mass will vote for the dem candidate in nov no matter who it is - what is IMPT is to carry the red states -
Hillary got Tenn and Oklahoma but OBAMA get Kansas, Idaho, Minnesota, North Dakota, Alabama, Georgia, Colorado, Utah and last week South Carolina --
CA and NY and NY will go democrat in November either candidate--
Obama also won Ct and Delaware

Hillary will win CA - but if Obama is close - the delagates will tell the tale -- he is catching up fast

You cannot win the Presidency without the south --
and the new west --don't we want to win in Nov??
I'm with you Jay Link.  LOL!  I highly doubt Missouri is going to flip and have Obama win.  Too much has been counted and the lead is pretty big by now.  It should be called pretty soon.

I just don't understand the Utah thing, though.  Did they call it based on exit polls only or something?  The longer it shows Hillary leading, the more I'm going to laugh.  It's just ridiculous!  Sure Obama has a chance to win Utah, but at least let the votes start totalling before you make a call.  Oh well.  If this keeps up MSNBC is just going to look retarded again.  =)
a GREAT NIGHT for Obama.  He's got the lead in $$$ and may have the lead in overall delegates when the counting is over.  For the first time, Obama is the favorite for the nomination.
how is obama being given utah? has anyone been watching the results? it clearly shows clinton ahead by 6% at last count. how cann that be given to obama with only 40%? please someone help me to understand that. please please
I am glad MSNBC exists because if I have to endure another moment watching CNN I would go crazy! You would think H Clinton owns the Channel!
Go Obama!

For the last time all you who think that it matter's who stand's behind a canidate, well mass. just said it loud and clear, we are the people who vote! This will not be a press only vote, we the american people will decide, we do not need your hype........
Obama is simply unstoppable. The US and the world need him desperately!  Go Obama! Viva!
Everyone on this post keeps calling a big win in Missouri for Hilary - but she's only up 3% with the big city votes still coming in....

This one is going to be closer than people think.
Obama wins small votes in caucus states.  The same states that will go republican this fall, so this small number represent the democratic party?  The number of votes should be considered in total.  Also its obvious from the vote that the most prejudiced bunch of voters still remain black voters.  So if Hillary get the nomination who will they vote for if their soul buddy isn't in the race?  If black voters were more discerning then the vote would not be so racist, but as it stands, they prove just what they are voting for.  But if women vote for Hillary MSNBC belittles that fact.  Shame on the lousy coverage of this thing.  I think they will never admit their prejudice against Bill Clinton, and they are taking that and their misogynist feelings out on her.  She deserves this nomination and at the end of the day, if the democratic party nominates Obamanation, they will surely loose in the fall. If they do that, they will deserve it. Just because Obama declares he will change Washington, he cannot do it, he forgets that Washington has republicans there, haha!!.  His grandiose proclamations are full of empty hot air.  The more I hear him, the more I begin to dislike him.
Obama sounds like Eugene McCarthy, or George McGovern.  The American electorate has not changed all that much, no matter what Obama says.  He is wrong, his platform can never win in the good old U.S.A.  There were more people opposed to the Vietman war, still the peacenik candidate lost big,  How can he accomplish all the things he is promising?  He cannot.  His promises are empty feel good talk.
