Obama won a number of states that will NEVER go Democrat in the general election. So the argument he's proven his electability is bogus. He may have won the Democratic primary votes in those states but rest assured that WILL NOT translate into electoral votes in November. Utah and Idaho? Give me a break.
Hard to take you guys at your word when it comes to counting since you called MO for Hillary and then pulled it back.
Actually Clinton won MO: she got a lot more delegates than he, not just an extra one as was the case in NV.
THIS IS SCARY
IF THE CHOICES ARE MCCAIN AND CLINTON WE MAY AS WELL BE CIRCLING THE DRAIN
Go Hillary go!!! We need you to save us from the male war mongers.
Obama is just another man.  He does not have the experience or ability to make change.  Hillary has what it takes.  If Obama wins I believe our country is in big trouble.
Although Clinton has more delegates from Super Tuesday it is clear by the number of states that Obama won that there is a more widespread support for him. Now he has to get more of the large number states! Go Obama!!!
I see that McCain and his policies will go to the white house along with Hucklebee the spoiler. Hold on to your hat boys and girls it goin to get real rough from here on in.
Thank goodness Clinton will get the nod. She has no hope of winning a general election like Obama does, so get her in there and hand over the presidency to the republicans.
The vvoter turnout is AWESOME.....I heard B. O. camp---that it is the "second coming" who is responsible. But the fact is that Bush,Cheney and the boys have energized people like never before....Poor GOP---the general election will speak loud and clear
The Stte of Missouri is counted as a win for Obama and is a win for Clinton.  This is firtst time I ever knew ONE state went to TWO candidates.  Can anyone clarify this?
Vote translations: For Obama, one elderly black man voted as tribute to his father and grandfather who were denied vote rights. Women took first opportunity to vote for a woman--voted for Hillary.
One GOOD thing Bush did: Enhanced Americans NEED to think, feel and SPEAK up with Highest number of Votes ever to be counted.
At this rate, the last caucus before the national convention of the Democratic party may decide between Obama and Clinton who will be the nominee.  That will be Puerto Rico, whose convention will be held on Saturday June 7 2008 to select 55 Pledged delegates to the Democratic National Convention. They also have 8 unpledged delegates.
I am thrilled by the prospect of "another Clinton...needed to clean up after another Bush."    After the disgrace of abuse of power by Bush in the first election; when voting fraud not "chads" stole the presidency from Al Gore and the American voters, Bush won the next election by engaging us in a war, making a vote against him appear to be a vote against our troops. Prior to the plundering, Bill Clinton's administration was forced to deal with the dirtiest Republican attempt to divert the American peoples money and attention away from the growing threat of Al Quaida and anti- American sentiment in the middle East with their inquisition of Bill Clinton. THE Rebublicans cost the American tax payer over $7 million dollars, and months of muck with their outrageous attempts to remove President Clinton from office, for the opportunity of disgracing and discrediting an administration that eventually left this country in strong national and global financial standing.

Sn.Hillary Clinton couldn't have passed water through that Republic lead House and Assembly, let alone a national Health Care Bill.  The Republicans had 8 years to address the growing national health crisis; instead the American people have watched the wealthiest Americans with personal financial interests in oil and weaponry become billionaires over the souls of our slain sons and daughters.

It will take experience to put the Republican interests in the back of the agenda. Sn.Clinton has both personal and professional experience and knows what it will take to address, and pass, bi-partisan bills that benefit the average merican people's needs. She will get the job done. She knows the way. She has the nation's trust and has learned by her own mistakes; the BEST way one learns and grows.

Don't be fooled by thinking the Republicans will let ANY Democratic president attempt to make this nation whole again, without them finding some incriminating
"evidence" to disgrace us and win back the White House in the next election.

Go get'em Hillary and please God protect our troops and bring them home to us. We could us their protection here!
Go HIlary!!!!
are you sure about your math here?...your cronies at MSNBC were spinning obama delegate wins in states that they were showing as clinton double-digit leads at the time....just goes to show you,  mathews, olberman, todd and the so-called panel of experts have absolutely zero credibility and they are going to spin for obama no matter what
Somebody help me with this.  GOP voters say the number one issue is the ecomomy, so, how is it they vote for someone (McCain), who admittedly know little about the American economy?

The number two issue is illegal immigration, and again they vote for someone who a few months ago, wanted what is basically amnesty, for illegal immigrants.

Can someone explain this to me?
i hope hillary do not win because she just going to take what her husband left behind she is no good
I would like to know the total number of delegates available for all 50 states + American Samoa, etc.
McClinton,or Billary means our country has no hope. The destruction of the middle class will continue. Welcome to the Third World within 25 years.
Not only that Hillary is no good but she has a great big ego just like president Bush. Do you remember the Health insurance mess what she was trying to propose back when her husband was in the office? Disaster. This country needs a fresh new outlook, not corrupted. That is why maybe Obama could be the ticket.
A MESSAGE TO BILL CLINTON:

Well, however the numbers fall, Bill took away any chance that Hilary will ever get this black woman's vote!

Bill showed his true colors by being the first to bring race into this contest, and I for one will not forget it.

Sorry Obama, this unity thing has to work both ways.

Nobody likes feeling duped and used for another's own selfish gain.

Blacks trusted you, Bill!

Now, Hilary turns to the Hispanics, to use them, with the larger population, more votes, while you, with your words, treat the Blacks that supported you all those years like insignificant, foolish believers of "fairytales".

Well, it was the Black "fairytale" hope, dream, belief and trust in you that helped carry you throughout your career, that welcomed you, and even still admired you through all of your past betrayals, only to be, ourselves, betrayed by your arrogance.

You have reopened those slow healing wounds of distrust. They are newly fresh once again and they will burn long and deep.

No, I cannot support you or Hilary. I may be only one vote, not missed, nor noticed, but perhaps remembered.

PLEASE...close the door behind you.
David Baker, I'll take a stab at answering your question. Republicans believe that the primary duties of the president revolve around security of the nation and the approval of bills, which constitutionally, they do. The reason a lot of republicans don't mind electing someone not too savvy on economy is because that's why our government has a cabinet for the president, an army of economic advisors, and a congress that IN THEORY should be competent enough to pass economic legislation. The entire economy really isn't the president's job, it's just supposed to look that way so all the blame goes on one person.

As far as McCain's immigration policy, I can't defend him for his amnesty bill - I despised it. And he wasn't my first choice because of it. However, in his voting record/stump talk since then he has regretted it and concedes that this immigration plans need to change really quickly if he wants republican support, and I believe his change is earnest because I believe (KNOCK ON WOOD) McCain is the least crooked politician in the race. He may be off-the-wall and not always playing with a full stack of pogs, if you know what I mean, but he's not in anyone's pocket.

(The other reason for his amnesty thing is that he's a senator from Arizona and didn't want to lose votes; sometimes you gotta play the game).

Long story short, a lot of republicans want change as much as the next voter, but just aren't going to cross the line to do it. Remember, its 30% who disapprove of Bush right now, not 50%.
Uh, MSNBC, didn't you mean 12:30 *AM* on the *6th*? rather than 12:30 PM (that is, 30 minutes after noon) on the 5th?
hey joe from pensacola what poll are you watching?...the one taken from bush family members and associates?....bush's disapproval rating is the highest its been in the history of ever taking such a poll...bush's DIS-approval rating is about 73%
