After last night's contests, we now head into Chesapeake Tuesday, and two new Mason-Dixon polls show Obama with comfortable leads in Maryland and Virginia.

In Maryland, it's Obama 53%, Clinton, 35%. And in Virginia, it's Obama 53%, Clinton 37%.

On the Republican side, McCain leads Huckabee in Maryland, 54%-23%. And he leads him in Virginia, 55%-27%.

The polls were conducted Feb. 7-8 and have margin of errors of plus-minus 5%.

Which one of those states has Obama won will take him through the General Election?  Will it be KS, ID, NE, AK, IO, AL, GA, SC?  Which one? Obama hasn't won the majority of states that matter.  Washington is holding another vote, this time a Primary it is going to be interesting to see who the MAJORITY votes for, obama doesn't do well when EVERYONE gets to vote, now does he.  People really need to start looking at the racial divide and there is one, you may not want to hear it, but he won't win the general becuase of it.  WE saw it in NV, SC, FL, and LA. LA Clinton/Obama:
White Men 66 28
White Women 73 24
Black Men 19 80
Black Women 16 84
You may think obama can win these votes, maybe a few, however, then you go back to the ethnic diversity on the West Coast, the majority will go to MCCain, if you think I am wrong again you are living in LaLa Land.
The delegates won by obama yesterday were 29 more than Hillary, and we haven't even included MI and FL, which we will eventually, Hillary clearly is winning this in all ways that count.  You people better wake up and see the writing on the wall.  I am not even going into obamas lies and distortion, but the rightwing are already preparing their attacks.  4 more years of Republicans?  Thank god there is TX, OH, PA, FL, MI who will make the final decision on this primary season.
I'll go back to sleep now.
When you look at the crushing victories by Obama over Clinton in the 3 states yesterday and if these polls hold up, I truely believe the writing will be on the wall for the Clinton campaign. Just wonder how she will exit the campaign.
With the nomination, of course!
what americans are failing to realise is obama's lack of specific's. My god i've seen him exsillent speech giver but thats not winning anything. Where are the specifics, thats why he cannot win a big state becuas enot everyone or nearly anyone can hear you but anyone who is interested of going to figure out what u have done and what u propose which is nill in the case of obama, What kind of change is he calling for? how does he expect to see this change?... please dems wake up.
Missouri, which does not have a caucus, has picked the president in every election except one since 1904.  I'd say it's a state that matters.  And Obama won there.

And after Florida and Ohio made the decision to put Bush in office in 2000 and 2004 respectively, I will pray that the final decision does not rest with either of these states.
Hilary Clinton is McCain just with more hair and a scarier face.
I am a white male dem. 40ish.  I can not invision voting for Clinton.  A choice between her and mccain, I pick mccain. Between Obama and mccain, I pick Obama.
20 years of the Bush/Clinton(hatfield/McCoy) feud  has to end.  This country can't take this anymore.
Colorado is also an important swing state, which Senator Obama won convincingly.  Yet, I think after years of embarrassment, humiliation and anger at the incompetence of the Republican administration (and before that the corrupt Republican Congress) many of those red states are purpling mightily.

I'm tired of this red state, blue state bologna anyway.  Let us support Senator Obama and get beyond this absurd division once and for all!

Obama '08, Yes we can!
The Florida/Michigan argument is ridiculous! Leave it alone. HRC was almost beat out by uncommitted in Michigan (Obama was not on the ballot). Last fall she announced on NH public radio that keeping her name on the ballot in Michigan “is not going to count for anything.” As for Florida, despite giving her word she would not campaign in Florida, her staffers phone-banked, sent in signs and mailed out literature -- then she gave a victory speech reminiscent to that of George Bush aboard USS Abraham Lincoln, declaring "Mission Accomplished."
This country needs a leader who can handle every single issue; not just what's on the table now, but what will be on the table four years from now. I promise you if Hillary Clinton is the next president, the only thing she'll be working on is how do I get "universal health care passed," and the country will be well on its way back to the original post-Clinton days -- Republican Congress, Republican President.
Hillary has the qualifications and experience to run a $15 trillion economy, actually implement change and stand up to McCain on national security issues.

Obama wants to be President, but doesn't yet have the experience to navigate DC - he'll be ripped apart (if he makes it there past a brutal main election race).

Yes, Obama gives good speeches but Hillary's the one who'll achieve change for us.
Obama want's change but doesn't say how. His lack of specific's is baffling. Why has he been given a free ride about the racist church he belongs to? Why did he vote 131 times as present instead of taking a stand and voting yes or no on important issues? Hillary has the experience and Obama does not.
OMG. Yes we can, McCain style
