2 for 2 tonight. 7-7 since last Tuesday. Ouch (for Hillary).
Ok race-baiters in the Clinton camp, start your rants (you can continue on Ed Rendell's heels from earlier).  And then throw a glass of ice water on your face and realize that Obama won the WHITE MALE vote in Virginia and that he also won in landslides in 3 of the WHITEST states in the Union over the weekend: Maine, Washington State, and Nebraska.
Honestly speaking, I am a Clinton supporter and I have to really start asking what the overarching strategy is? 'Cos honeslty, this makes no sense
1) Barack Obama has 12 years elected legislative experience. Hillary Clinton has 7.

2) Obama used to talk about his policies in minute detail in his stump speeches and in debates, and was constantly derided as being too professorial.

So he switches to a more inspiring and broad campaiging style and people say he has no substance. Funny.

3) If you truly want to know how substantive Obama's positions are, look at his website.

In several portions, such as his technology platform, he obliterates Clinton. AND, he says how he'll pay for his proposals.

http://www.barackobama.com/issues/

This is, of course, if you care to inform yourself rather than stick to the Clinton meme that Obama is 'inexperienced'.
What Obama is doing to Clinton is called a Slobber-Knocker!
African Americans are getting it right. The issues don't matter to them. Only that he is one of their own. They are so much smarter than women in our country. It's too bad women will never learn.
Go Rendell!  You're helping to sink the USS Clinton.  Funny how he questions whether a black man can win a presidency but not whether a white woman can.  Fool.  I'm a white male and am so happy with the choice democrats finally have.  I'd vote for Clinton if the Bush/Clinton tribes hadn't been in the executive office as Pres/Vice Pres for 28 years.  GO OBAMA GO!
MGP from NY

Are you a paid Obama campaign staffer? It appears you cust and pasted this comment from a previous article you responded to.

Here is a good one. Why dont we let republicans and independents vote in the Democratic Party? If they want to vote for a Democrat they should wait till November. Just a travisty of justice.
And, don't forget Obama won Idaho, another very white state with a convincing 80% margin of victory.
Some people say "we're electing a President, not a Preacher."

I'd say we're electing a President, not a Professor.  There's no doubt: Senator Clinton has a solid command of the issues.  So did my Political Scientist Prof in college.  I wouldn't want him running our country either.
HAS ANYONE SEEN THE YOU TUBE VIDEOS OF LARRY SINCLAIR.
HE FILED A LAWSUIT AGAINST OBAMA YESTERDAY. FEBRUARY 11, 2008.  THIS GUY HAS SOME REALLY AWFUL STUFF ON OBAMA.  HERE IS A LINK ABOUT THE LAWSUIT
http://caosblog.com/7245
Anyone know anything about this? This is unbelieveable stuff that could really hurt Obama.

The way Senator Clinton talks about universal coverage sounds almost like she is offering free healthcare to all people as a favor. At the end of the day, people will pay who can afford it and people who can't afford it will still pay along with a subsidy. So nothing is free here.

So if someone at the age of 22 or 23 decides to pay her college tuition instead of buying health insurance as a priority, the Clinton plan would mandate a way to take the money from her. She would not be allowed to make that choice about the best way to invest her money in her future. Is that really how government should work? Obama makes it voluntary relying on the notion that if healthcare is affordable and accessible, most people will buy it because it's a good idea. They don't have it now not because government is not forcing them to buy it but they can't afford it. So Obama is not 'leaving' anyone without coverage. He is creating a situation where everyone can afford it. If a 22 year old decides to pay for tuition instead of buying health insurance (which might be the right priority if he is healthy and at his physical prime), Obama's plan allows him to stay on his parents' plan until 25. It's much more practical. The idea of garnishing wage to force people to pay for healthcare they're extremely unlikely to need is not a good one. Government's job is to make it easier and affordable for people to live, but ultimately people are responsible for their own lives. Government can't play nanny or baby sitter for grown-up citizens. If this plan were a style that future programs were built off of, where would it lead? Will Clinton offer mortgages from the federal government, force people to become homeowners and garnish wages for their mortgage payment? Will Hillary force kids to go to college and garnish wage of the parents to pay for the student loan? These are last century ideas. The idea that that the government has to force people to protect their families with healthcare coverage is dangerous.

Anyone can come up with an idea that sounds nice in theory and on paper. But is this something she would be willing to push through Congress to implement based on consensus? I don't think so. Yes, it might be a "democratic idea" but unless Hillary wins with a landslide (and right now v. McCain, polls have her tying -not winning), unless Democrats have a clear majority in house and senate, she cannot impose a democratic idea on the entire nation that's almost half divided. So it's prudent to plan for what can be achieved, what's practical, and what also requires citizens to behave responsibly for their own lives instead of bunch of empty rhetoric about mandates and "universal" coverage.

(Thanks to Arshad of Newburgh, NY for the bulk of this argument.)
Clinton 2 strikes No balls
Maryland delayed by bad weather.
White Males are responsible for getting George W. Bush elected, too.... grow up.  This is not American
Idol, its not a popularity contest.  We need a president who can fix the mess caused by the republicans.  Hillary Clinton is the only who can do that
Excuse me, I found a fork here on the floor...mmm...it has something written on it...let's see...mmmm...billory...no...that's not it...mmm...pillorary...no....ah yes it's SHRILLARY...coming to a state near you soon...
I wonder who gets stuck first with it?!!?
Why are they saying he has won D.C. when the main NBC Politics front page doesn't even show the percentage of precincts reporting yet?
Barack is taking away voters from Hillary:

In Maryland and Virginia he's beaten Clinton in:

Voters with under $50,000 / year income
That's working class
That's blue collar
THAT'S A BIG WIN FOR OBAMA !!

Hillary's campaign vice hcairman has just resigned

                   ;=}

Wonder why ?
Out of money ?

What happened to 'inevitable' Hillary ??

There's a new FRONT RUNNER in town !!

OBAMA '08
Integrity counts
Honesty counts
Character counts

No, I'm not a paid Obama staffer. I am someone, however, who cares passionately about the ISSUES of the campaign.

I don't support Obama blindly. I support him because of his very detailed positions.

I also am against Hillary Clinton for her positions:

1) Her vote to authorize the Iraq War in 2002

2) Her vote for the 2001 Bankruptcy Bill

3) Her vote to label the Iranian Revolutionary Guard as a terrorist organization in 2007

4) Her repeated attempts to block Obama's ethics reform legislation, which eventually passed in 2007. She also ended up voting for it once it was apparent that there was not enough resistance.

She lauded it on the Senate floor as one of the most sweeping and amazing pieces of ethics legislation, and then she panned it on the campaign trail because it was politically expedient for her.

-------------------

And so forth and so on. Hillary Clinton's 7 years of experience in the Senate have been disastrous for progressive ideals.
How many of these contests is Sen. Clinton going to overlook?  This is a poor strategy for someone who wants to be the President of the United States and not just the President of the Higher Populated States that are Blue Anyway (except Illinois).  In the South we call this "gettin' taken to the woodshed"!
Susan, the strategy is his message. America wants to turn the page to a new politics. We are tired of the past. We do not want to go back to what was. We know whith Hilary the fighting starts at the door. With Barack the discussion starts at the table.
I can't tell you how happy I am!! Obama is KILLING Clinton!! And she's hoping on that RUDY strategy?? Big states, huh?? Doesn't she understand that he'll get delegates there too?? Another staffer gone?? Calls to their supporters?? Don't worry, everything's fine??? I love this. I want a NEW voice in this country. And it's so refreshing to see so many new people being involved in this process. GO BARACK GO!!
Glad to see the results in VA and DC, and would ask Gov. Rendell from PA to sit up and take note.  There is increasingly little place for his brand of 'realism' in America.  Pointing out that some whites are 'not ready' for a black candidate is not an objective observation, but a calculated statement meant to play on the same fears that fuel the prejudice it claims to reject.  That's how this white boy sees it.
Judy, I don't need to look at the link..Let me guess? It is some person accusing the senator of taking part is a questionable activity? Like I said I click on it. You'r late to the round of gossip. Where have you been? Or if this is a new one. Think before you put on your Paul Revere costume. If this was legit, why would the media need you to put it out....?
African Americans are getting it right. The issues don't matter to them. Only that he is one of their own. They are so much smarter than women in our country. It's too bad women will never learn.

tc, fort lauderdale (Sent Tuesday, February 12, 2008 8:12 PM)
--------------------------------
I don't understand.  Do the numbers say that blacks are voting for him because he's black.  Or are about 50% of the whites voting against him because he's black?

You people are ridiculous playing the race card.  Obama has won several states that are largely white.  Give it a break.
tc,fort lauderdale, WRONG.. the issues do count within the African American community, we do not vote color. Remember,Jessie Jackson? Al Sharpton, we do not vote color. As we should not vote gender as well. I would love to see the RIGHT female candidate run for the White House, not just this female.
Where is Van and Carrie? Wow! It is time for Hillary Clinton to quit this race.
Gov Edward Rendall, will pay for that statement. He sent out the Northern Racial Code to voters. We love Rendall in Philadelphia, many will rethink that love as many did with President Bill Clinton.

A drunk and a bigot - what the US Presidental hopeful HASN'T said about his father...
By SHARON CHURCHER
It is a classic story of the American dream made real: an impoverished Kenyan goatherd rising to become a brilliant Harvard-educated economist.
On the way he fights racial prejudice at home and corruption at work, survives the heartbreak of a broken relationship and, despite it all, leads the fight to rid Africa of its colonial legacy.
This extraordinary story is told by US Presidential hopeful Barack Obama as he recalls the life of the man who inspired him to political success - his father.
Mr Obama's book, Dreams From My Father, is flying off the shelves of US book stores, exciting and astonishing readers in equal measure. It is a bestseller, and no wonder - because the story just gets better and better.
Mr Obama is already Democratic Senator for Illinois. Now he is in the running to be the first black President in the country's history.
"My story is part of the larger American story," he declared in the electrifying speech that won him his Senate seat just two years ago. "In no other country on Earth is my story even possible."
Many believe Mr Obama is a serious threat to Hillary Clinton's hopes of becoming the Democrats' choice for their next Presidential candidate - and his lovingly written account of the debt he owes his father, also called Barack Obama, will do no harm at all to his Presidential hopes.
Indeed, by offering up a conveniently potted account of his personal history in this way, he might even have made a pre-emptive strike on those sure to pose the awkward questions that inevitably face a serious contender for the White House.
Yet an investigation by The Mail on Sunday has revealed that, for all Mr Obama's reputation for straight talking and the compelling narrative of his recollections, they are largely myth.
We have discovered that his father was not just a deeply flawed individual but an abusive bigamist and an egomaniac, whose life was ruined not by racism or corruption but his own weaknesses.
And, devastatingly, the testimony has come from Mr Obama's own relatives and family friends.
Charismatic and with movie-star looks, Barack Obama Jnr has managed to steal some of Hillary Clinton's most influential supporters in the two weeks since he entered the US Presidential race.
The 45-year-old lawyer depicts himself as a fresh voice for voters tired of the divisive rhetoric and self-serving ambition of established politicians on each side of the Democrat-Republican divide.
His campaign to become the first black President is inspired, he says, by his love of the country that allowed his father to triumph against astonishing odds.
Barack Obama Snr started life with the advantage of being able to read and write, but he also felt a profound sense of injustice. His father was a cook for British settlers in Kenya, who demeaningly called him their 'personal boy'.
Grandfather Obama sent his son to a missionary school but after completing his education, the youth could find little work except goatherding in his remote village of Nyangoma Kogela, in the roadless hills of Western Kenya.
At 18, he married a girl called Kezia. But Obama Snr was more interested in politics and economics than his family and his political leanings had been brought to the notice of leaders of the Kenyan Independence movement.
He was put forward for an American-sponsored scholarship in economics, with the idea being that he would eventually use his Western-honed skills in the new Kenya. At the age of 23 he headed for university in Hawaii, leaving behind the pregnant Kezia and their baby son.
Relatives say he was already a slick womaniser and, once in Honolulu, he promptly persuaded a fellow student called Ann - a naive 18-year-old white girl - to marry him. Barack Jnr was born in August, 1961.
Two years later, Obama Snr was on the move again. He was accepted at Harvard, and left his little boy and wife behind when he moved to the exclusive east coast university.
At the time, Ann explained to their son that his father had gone because his meagre stipend would not support the family if they lived together. But finance was the least of her worries.
Mr Obama Jnr claims that racism on both sides of the family destroyed the marriage between his mother and father.
In his book, he says that Ann's mother, who went by the nickname Tut, did not want a black son-in-law, and Obama Snr's father 'didn't want the Obama blood sullied by a white woman'.
In fact Ann divorced her husband after she discovered his bigamous double life. She remarried and moved to Indonesia with young Barack and her new husband, an oil company manager.
Obama Snr was forced to return to Kenya, where he fathered two more children by Kezia. He was eventually hired as a top civil servant in the fledgling government of Jomo Kenyatta - and married yet again.
Now prosperous with a flashy car and good salary, his third wife was an American-born teacher called Ruth, whom he had met at Harvard while still legally married to both Kezia and Ann, and who followed him to Africa.
A relative of Mr Obama says: "We told him[Barack] how his father would still go to Kezia and it was during these visits that she became pregnant with two more children. He also had two children with Ruth."
It is alleged that Ruth finally left him after he repeatedly flew into whisky-fuelled rages, beating her brutally.
Friends say drinking blighted his life - he lost both his legs while driving under the influence and also lost his job.
However, this was no bar to his womanising: he sired a son, his eighth child, by yet another woman and continued to come home drunk.
He was about to marry her when he finally died in yet another drunken crash when Obama was 21.
Mr Obama's 40-year-old cousin Said Hussein Obama told The Mail on Sunday: "Clearly, Barack has been very deeply affected by what he has learned about his father, who was my father's older brother.
"You have to remember that his father was an African and in Africa, polygamy is part of life.
"We have assured Barack that his father was a loving person but at times it must be difficult for him to reconcile this with his father's drinking and simultaneous marriages."
Said adds: "His father was a human being and as such you can't say that he was 100 per cent perfect.
"My cousin found it difficult when he came here to learn of his half-brothers and sisters born to four different mothers.
"But just as Africans find the Western world strange so Americans coming here will find Africa strange."
Far from being an inspiration, the father whom Mr Obama was coming to know seemed like a total stranger.
In his book, he attempts to put the best face on it. His father, he writes, lost his civil service job after campaigning against corrupt African politicians who had 'taken the place of the white colonials'.
One of Obama Snr's former drinking partners, Kenyan writer Philip Ochieng Ochieng says, however, that his friend's downfall was his weak character.
"Although charming, generous and extraordinarily clever, Obama Snr was also imperious, cruel and given to boasting about his brain and his wealth," he said.
"He was excessively fond of Scotch. He had fallen into the habit of going home drunk every night. His boasting proved his undoing and left him without a job, plunged him into prolonged poverty and dangerously wounded his ego."
Ochieng recalls how, after sitting up all night drinking Black Label whisky at Nairobi's famous Stanley Hotel, Obama Snr would fly into rages if Ruth asked where he had been.
Ochieng remonstrated with his friend, saying: "You bring a woman from far away and you reduce her to pulp. That is not our way."
But it was to no avail. Ruth sued for divorce after her husband administered brutal beatings.
In fact he was a menace to life, said Ochieng. "He had many extremely serious accidents. Both his legs had to be amputated. They were replaced with crude false limbs made from iron.
"He was just like Mr Toad [from Wind In The Willows], very arrogant on the road, especially when he had whisky inside. I was not surprised when I learned how he died."
Ruth refused to comment on the abuse charges when we tracked her down to the Kenyan school where she now works.
She said: "I was married to Barack's father for seven years so, yes, you could say Barack is my stepson.
"Barack's father was a very difficult man. Although I was married to him the longest of any of his wives he wasn't an easy person to be around."
Mr Obama has acknowledged that his father grappled with a drinking problem. But with a gift for words that makes Mrs Clinton's utterances seem stiff and stale, he has turned it into another component of the myth.
Drink, he says, like drugs, are one of "the traps that seem laid in a black man's soul".
Mr Obama claims that he, too, has been racially abused, even during his campaign for the White House.
His mother, Ann, decided that he should get an American education and sent him back from Indonesia to Hawaii, where he was admitted to a £7,000-a-year prep school, Punahau Academy, and lived with his maternal grandparents.
And while there, says Mr Obama, he was tortured by fellow pupils - who let out monkey hoots - and turned into a disenchanted teenage rebel, experimenting with cocaine and marijuana.
Even his grandparents were troubled by dark skin, he says in his book, recalling how once his grandmother complained about being pestered by a beggar.
"You know why she's so scared?" he recalls his grandfather saying. "She told me the fella was black."
Mr Obama says his soaring 'dream' of a better America grew out of his 'hurt and pain'.
Friends, however, remember his time at school rather differently. He was a spoiled high-achiever, they recall, who seemed as fond of his grandparents as they were of him.
He affectionately signed a school photo of himself to them, using their pet names, Tut and Gramps.
The caption says: "Thanks... for all the good times." He worked on the school's literary magazine and wore a white suit, of the style popular with New York writers at the time.
One of his former classmates, Alan Lum, said: "Hawaii is such a melting pot that it didn't occur to me when we were growing up that he might have problems about being one of the few African-Americans at the school. Us kids didn't see colour. He was easy-going and well-liked."
Lon Wysard, who also attended the academy, said the budding politician was in fact idolised for his keen sportsmanship.
"He was the star basketball player and always had a ball in his hand wherever he was," Wysard recalled.
Mr Obama was later admitted to read politics and international relations at New York's prestigious Columbia University where, his book claims, "no matter how many times the administration tried to paint them over, the walls remained scratched with blunt correspondence (about) niggers."
But one of his classmates, Joe Zwicker, 45, now a lawyer in Boston, said yesterday: "That surprises me. Columbia was a pretty tolerant place. There were African American students in my classes and I never saw any evidence of racism at all."
Family members and acquaintances believe that the real cloud over Mr Obama's life has been the discovery that his father was far from the romantic figure that his mother tried to portray.
A family friend said: "He is haunted by his father's failures. He grew up thinking of his father as a brilliant intellectual and pioneer of African independence only to learn that in Western terms he was basically a drunken lecher."
This ugly truth, say friends, has made Mr Obama ruthlessly determined to use every weapon that he has to succeed, including the glossily edited version of his father's story.
"At the end of the day Barack wants the story to help his political cause, so perhaps he couldn't afford to be too honest," said Ochieng.
Significantly, it was only four years after his father's death that Mr Obama travelled to his father's ancestral Kenyan village. There he learned the full story of his father's life and met some of his relatives.
One of his half-sisters, Auma, is now a council worker in southern England, but some of his other relatives are still living in huts in the village, without plumbing or electricity, farming a few scrawny goats and chicken and growing fruit and maize.
They speak the tribal Luo language and depend on handouts from family members who have emigrated to the UK and the United States for their few luxuries, notably the transistor radios that they use to follow Mr Obama's rocketing political fortunes.
He has positioned himself as a devout Christian (having found God, he says, after years as an atheist) and in a new book The Audacity Of Hope, timed to coincide with his campaign, he concentrates on his manifesto for 'reclaiming the American dream'.
This tome contains one telling paragraph, in a section in which he fumbles to try to justify his abrupt leap into the national political arena: he is, he says, chronically 'restless'.
"Someone once said that every man is trying to either live up to his father's expectations or make up for his father's mistakes, and I suppose that may explain my particular malady."

Another race called long before they have actually started counting the votes?  Is it just me, or does anyone else think they should at least start counting before they declare a victor?
I look at both sides of this and I am frankly frightened for the future of America.

A few months ago Russia hands Iran nuke material, a few years ago Russia is escorted out of american air space, today russian bombers buzz the USS Nimitz and it seems to me that the majority of us are running around with our fingers stuck in our ears going "naa naa naa naa naa"
Obama has zero experience at anything but if you watch his rallies it puts me in mind of a Billy Graham sermon.  If Obama would just life a Bible and say "now come to Jesus" they would pour out into the isle and call "HIM" Jesus.
Hillary is a socialist.  Period.
Huckabee is acually waving the bible saying come to Jesus.  Wrong but at least honest.  Still scary.
John McCain.  He's never going to get the "puritans" wing of the GoP to like him and middle folks love him because he actually works with both sides yet because he has an R behind him name moderate Dems will never vote for him.  They will vote for Satan first.
Honestly this country will find itself no longer the leader of anything in the world except for perhaps self serving, fat azzed moraless couch potato's out for them self and care less even for their own grandchilds future.  Winning your "your side" is more important than electing an experienced person to be President.
You all deserve the government you elect.  It's no longer God Bless America, it's God Help America.
to "allowmetoretort":
in the other post under the same tittle.
"With the last part of your post, referencing Bill Clinton" you just proved my point, Hillary is a victim of a mal oriented society. Thanks.
Unfortunately my second post was deleted or the allowed slots were full. I have to add this second post was also very respectful like the first one.
It's bad enough that I had to accept that I am surrounded by 59 million idiots who voted for George Bush.  From the posts on this thread it's obvious that the rest aren't too bright either (despite what the pundits are saying about the education level of the average Obama supporter.

Ken Kesey eulogizing Bill Graham in 1991 said, "In any given situation there are always going to be more dumb people than smart people."  Way to go Obamaphiles...you're keeping the dumb streak alive.

You do know that he's been lying about taking lobbyist money for over a year now right?  Oh wait, the golden god of change can do no wrong.  Funny, the LA Times disagrees.  Oh well.  If McCain and Obama get the nominations I'm voting for my cat.  At least he's clean.
Hillery could not or would not take action to reject a
unjust war.control our federal budjet,or stop trying
to force our will on world goverments in the name of
big buisness arm twisting. For this we are over twenty three trillion dollars in debt to China and maney
other countries and still climbing,Obama talks I
believe can bring this great country back together
again with some good common sence,I not good at writting but I can run a budget better then our
government can, First get rid of the lobbyest and
self interest senetors and represetatives that dont
follow thru for the job that they are paid to do.
Also stop applying earmarks to bills for self interest
motives that doesnt have any thing to do with the
purpose of the bill in question,I believe Obama will
take A closer look at these problems then Hillery
has done.Their is much more ,takes to long for now.

Dream on Obama fans and I do mean fans...News I hear is about to break just at the right time to make you all fools...i can't wait to hear your rants..YUK,YUK,YUK. The big "we need a change" is going to make you wish you would have gone to Hillary. LMAO.. Can't wait, if you think Bills problems were bad you ain't seen nothing yet. Oh my,my. Have a good time tonight cause it's your last.
Hillary will fight to the end and will destroy the party in the process just to retaste the power of the White House.  Obama is taking down a giant just the way you have to, bit by bit and piece by piece.  Say no to the HillBillary Clintons.  ksqualls
Tc from fort Lauderdale,
Please refrain from your racist and sexist rants. I say racist not because you clearly mentioned a racist theme, but your statements have subtle racism to them. To say that blacks only cared that Obama is one of their own and that issues don't matter to them is totally ridiculous. You are badly misinformed on what has been happening in the past few weeks when Bill Clinton brought up the race card by using coded racist phrases. That scared his black loyal supporters away (in addition to blacks being inspired by the emssage of hope and change).
You also need to stop being sexist. Women are intelligent -- they are voting more for Hillary because, in part, they felt what someone called "sisterly pride" given that they have enver witnessed a female president in our nation's history. They are aware that Hillary just may not be the right woman to lead and act as their role model because of her polarizing and divisive personalities.
Please go back to your factbook and STUDY, STUDY, STUDY!
Ah, but ROXANNE, the news I hear about to break will obliterate your news.  And mine comes from stronger, faster, smarter nerds! Go, Big O!
wow,  I had heard all of the real biograghy of Obama's Dad before and found his protrayal of it dishonest to say the least,  but this Larry Sinclair guy,  is he for real?  The media needs to address this not to ruin Obama, but if this is try the Republicans will ruin him bigtime and then where will the democratic party be?  Out of luck again.  Hillary is tested like it or not and Obama is a big ?  are you willing to risk loosing the White House again? I guess we will found out by March 4.
Gee... Hillary still leads in super delegates even after Obamas mighty 8 state blow out? You would not know that from most of the posters. They think Obama already won the nomination.
Alright all of you Marylanders and Virginians, DCians what do you think is the current job scene. By shouting for Obama you think it will change. What is his game plan? I think its good for the Clintons that they will be saved from changing the job scene. Oh I know Obama will do it coz he knows everything he is the God Destined human on this earth. He represents Martin Luther King eventhough his father a black was born in Kenya. Oh yes and his Mother is white which makes him very likable to White men. I have never seen America which is that stupid, it is unbelievable. Oh yes and all of you will take care of everything by asking Obama to stop the companies from going outside, but how are you going to save America. What it means to have new jobs, where is the manufacturing going. Good ideas will come from America but they will never touch Americans coz that's what has happened to Clintons.

But who am I to say who so wishes that bad doesn't happen.

What can one single human do to win over the human stupidity? Albert Einstein was right The Human stupidity is infinite but it doesn't seem as bad as American Stupidity. Anyhow.
Your Dreams come true.... if you really know what you are dreaming.

As a Clinton supporter it is not looking good. But I am sorry to say that come November Obama is going to get beat. The Democrats have this system wrong and need to fix it. The Republicans do primaries right. Just look at some of the states that Obama has won. Especially the Caucus states where he gets at most a few thousand votes but the republicans get ten times that. These independents that are for him now I would love to know how many are republicans just voting for him due to McCain not needing their vote right now. Dont get me wrong Hillary would not win in November either.
One more observation: Think back in time and try to remember the political leaders with this kind of movement. Not all have been positive, more have had a negative effect on the world. Also do you think this will ruin any future womans chance? I do and I think when Obama gets beat badly (think Kerry in 04) it will put minorities back a few steps as well.
Sooner or Later.....you write about Barrack Obama's father being a drunk and being abusive.  For anyone who has read Senator Obama's book we already know that.  It isn't a shocker.  In fact there isn't anything in that article that couldn't have been lifted right out of his book "Dreams of my father".  It makes me admire Senator Obama even more.  He didn't have it easy and his history was flawed.  Most American's didn't have a "Leave it to Beaver" childhood.  I grew up poor and my mother was an alcoholic.  It doesn't define who I am or limit who I am.  As American's we expect to be judged on our actions not the actions of others.

You're looking at the wrong numbers. Caucuses sometimes report the # of elected delegates, which are in the thousands. They don't always count the number of voters that elected that particular delegate.

Typically it can be anywhere from 5 voters to 1 delegate to 50 voters to 1 delegate.

Obama might have a few thousand from the Caucus, but the actual turnout was in the hundreds of thousands.

The democratic caucuses and primaries typically have a 2-1 or more advantage in turnout over the republican caucuses.

It hasn't been close by a long shot.
