Okay she won but by 1% and they are splitting the delegates
Good to hear Hillary WON!!! Now on to OH!
What about the 3 ballot boxes that were hidden to the guy whose spouse is a HIllary supporter.Obama was ahead in votes count and they stopped it and spinned it so thay can catch the fish in the muddy water. They stole this state from Obama. HIllary will do anything and say anything to win. What a shameful acts by HIllary. After loosing 8 straight states she did not show any courtesy to acknowledge the defeat until yesterday. She is not the person who will bring the unity and transperancy in the White HOuse. IT is too secrative for everything with BIll and HIll. They do not want to disclose her records as first lady nor they want to publish her tax record. If she is so right whats the problem to disclose. It is still time for us to aviod another mess is White House.
I'm rooting for Hillary. When she speaks she brings up information like she's reciting from Google. Obama is slick/smooth. I want experience not glib speaking. I like him very much but, he's something that sweeps in every few years. Remember President Kennedy? She's earnest. I don't care who she married. I don't judge her. If she can do what she does at home, abroad, here in New York State. That's fine with me. When Ms. Couric of 60 minutes asked the same question as Mr. Kraft. you could see Couric was moving toward asking  more fluffy questions. Hillary doesn't need that. She can hold her own anywhere, even if you insult her. Yes, the media is insulting. Frankly, with the way men have been running things, I'd be glad to see a women for a change. Go Hillary!
Wow, that took them awhile.  I guess that's what happens when your state is 49th in education.
woo hoo trhank god because now  New maxico belongs to the "states that matter". WI do you want to belong to "the states that matter" then dont vote for Obama.
VA, My, minn, IA Ill, ND...... Mo all of this belong to states that dont matter because Hillary or Her Husbend did not win them. ......

Keep counting...the more times they count, the closer the results get. New Mexico is now a relevant state now that Clinton has won!!!
OMG--Stop the presses!

This changes everything!  Obama is on the ropes!  Candidacy in peril!

LOL.
this is nothing. it is 1.1 % difference. almost an equal split on the popular vote which still leaves her behind in the category. she may win the most delegates, she may not depending on the princinct breakdown. the thing that should be noticed is she went into this state with a double digit lead and a favorabla percentage of the latino vote in her favor. obama broadened his base in this state. no large african-american vote here. this is a very telling story. hillary now has 11 states won and obama has won 21.

congratulation hillary.

go obama!!!
HILLARY WILL SWEEP ALL THE BORDER STATES!!  LOOKS LIKE THAT ILLEGAL IMMIGRATION ISSUE IS ON HER SIDE.

Yes!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  Yes!!!!!!!!!!!   Yes!!!!!!!!!!!
The Clintons now has 11 states to Obama's 22 states (inlcuding VI) where delegates count. They have a long way to reach the same number of states and votes.  And why should she be the winner?
Mark Penn:  Is New Mexico a 'significant' state?  Is winning a caucus 'meaningless'?

You are a $4MM joke.

P.S., Ask Mandy about your 'message'
Sad Day for the folks at MSNBC.
John - Don't forget that Hillary also has a 3rd place finish which Obama does not have.
funny thing is, MSNBC had obama's delegate total go up by 1,

does that mean that Obama got that last delegate?
YES! Hillary won NM.   Wisconsin issued the debate invitation, not Hillary.  She accepted, Obama didn't. What's he afraid of?
I heard Obama took the day off today to practice on answering real questions without stuttering.
YEAAAH HILLARY! THAT'S WHAT I'M TALKING ABOUT! NEW MEXICO! THANK YOU! WAY TO GO NEW MEXICO! AND WHERE HAVE I HEARD? A WIN IS A WIN!!!!! MMMMMM
New Mexico primary is stolen by Hillary.

What about the 3 ballot boxes that were hidden to the guy whose spouse is a Hillary supporter. They had plenty of time to tamper in the vote counts.Obama was ahead in votes count and they stopped it and spinned it so they can catch the fish in the muddy water. They stole this state from Obama. Gee- just imagine if this close race was won by Obama- this would have merited a "Breaking News" alert on my BB and email!!

Double standard????
Excellent response Obama...let the people decide now. I know who I want in office. Obama 08!
I realize that you will probably only display complementary comments and/or those which speak favorably of your treatment of Senator Clinton and not those which criticize your obvious bias!
It is about time. MOMENTUM!!!! What? When Obama wins the media screams "momentum". So once again MOMENTUN!!! WOO HOO!!!
Is that considered a win or a tie?  When do percentage points come into play and when not?  I'm always amazed at how the results are called.  Extremely confusing.  After all this time, and barely one percentage difference!  I think that should be published as a tie.
President Barack Obama !!!!
Hillary is out of touch with the average american. She claims to care but how can she when she voted for medical bills to show on one's credit report. People should take note to her way of thinking and realize that all her talking is just that, talk.
Congratulation Clinton
Wow! They were so close - that's crazy to think that it came down to such a small margin - I'm not sure which one this is worse for... Barack or Hillary?!!

To the writers of FirstRead - I bet you and the rest of your reporting brethen feel like kids in a never ending, always fresh, candy store - don't you?

m
A sound thrashing! The 1.1% spread was way beyond expectations of a 1.0% spread and shows weakening support for Obama, (despite being 9 days old). Hillary really ate into the base that Obama had not yet stolen from her in the subsequent 9 days!

A difference of 1700 votes - probably added when the ballot box was taken home by a clinton supporter. No change in delegates awarded.

But watch this: Clinton will hold an emergency rally to celebrate this. Ha ha ha ha! The woman is so desperate for anything that smells like good news.
So close...  Yet so far away.  This shouldn't give Clinton much to smile about.

I'm for Obama in '08.
I am glad that these votes have been counted and declared.  But, what about the Florida votes that were cast and counted a long time ago?  And, what about Florida?  1.7 million voters have not been heard. Unless the RNC & DNC policies are changed, this could happen to you some day; regardless of your state or party affiliation.  The DNC broke a contractual agreement with the democratic constituents in Florida to fight for their right to vote.   You can read more at:
http://florida-delegates.com

New Mexico, I applaud you for making sure that every vote was thoroughly counted and declared.  That is true democracy in action.  Thank you!
Yay...Hillary won, so i guess this means this win does'nt count because it's a caucus right?

Obama '08
Way to go, Hillary!!! On to Wisconsin, Texas, Pennsylvania, and Ohio!! You can do it!!!
THAT IS GOOD FOR THE DEMOCRATIC SYSTEM OF USA. IT PROMOTES THE CAUSE OF PUBLIC AND DIRECTION TO THE NEW LEADER TO LEAD THE COUNTRY IN SUCH A GREAT NEED. THE SENATOR CLINTON IS THE RIGHT CHOICE AND AT THE RIGHT TIME FOR THIS MIGHTY COUNTRY... OBAMA HAS TO WAITE AND IT IS A BAD FOR HIM TO SPOIL THE CHANCES OF DEMOCRAT AT THIS TIME AS THE PEOPLE ON HIS WAGON ARE OPPORTUNISTS. THOSE OPPORTUNISTS NEVER GOT A CHANCE TO SHOW UP FOR BIG JOBS AND ASSIGNMENTS.... WATCH OUT PUBLIC.... AND HELP FOR THE GOOD CAUSE......
So, Clinton wins New States.

New Mexico
New Jersey
New York
New Hampshire

But, this is almos 1/2 of her wins.
Obama has been funneling more than 3 times amount of money to his superdelegates than Clinton. This news is widely reported all over the internet, but nothing MSNBC. Biased a bit?
(I bet this posting will get deleted too)
Finally, something positive about Hillary Clinton. In my opinion, she has the experience, if not the media-appointed halo. Why is the media so biased toward Obama in their coverage of the Democretic contest? There is still a race issue in this country, but unfortunately it is with the female race. If Clinton was the candidate with ties to Rezko instead of Obama, the media would have a field day. Go to the polls, ladies and show them what "CHANGE" is really about. And maybe, just maybe, the media will report THAT!!!
You continue to run Senator Clinton into the ground (Chris Matthews especially).  Clinton has only missed 26 percent of voting in the Sentate where Obam has missed 44 percent of the voting. Every speech she makes you run down as no good where every speech given by Senator Obam as godliness.  I watch MSNBC every night, but your continued dislike for Sen. Clinton is so obvious I do not know if I can continue to watch.  You influence the voters much more than it should, but it happens.  Shame on you!
As I type this msg there has been no other post.... I thought the Clinton supporter would have crashed MSNBC server by now!!!
I look forward to hearing Mark Penn explain how this victory doesn't really mean anything because it's a caucus in a non-significant state.
Close vote count. Both are showing their strengths.  Separately, I noticed that Obama likes to quote AP as a source that lends credibility to his policies.  However, the source of quotes about his policies is his own campaign.  For example, a recent ad said that his policy on foreclosures would "stem foreclosures" AP 1/14/08.  Well the AP was reporting on the what his campaign asserted not what the AP believes his plan will achieve.

Obama is a liar!
Congratulations, New Mexico...you might actually be significant now...not like if Obama won the state...then, of course, you would be insignificant!
While Clinton can claim this as a (narrow) win, her popular vote is under 50% -- not much comfort, considering Obama's string of 60-plus-percent wins since Super Tuesday, which seems like an eternity ago.
Three points for Hillary Clinton and her supporters:
NAFTA, WHITE HOUSE RECORDS, and TAX RETURNS.
..'nuff said.

More whining from, and on behalf of, the Clintons. How hard it must be for her to be the outsider candidate, with no cache to build up a campaign war chest, or name recognition, or a national reputation. She really has it so hard.
I was interested in the delegates in the WIN. I was very much so hoping that this would give Mrs. Clinton the upper hand on this.  Every Causas Obama has won, I hate that, I want Votes, I want to know that America is holding  the cards, not some underminding  group, who has decided that this is the right person, in which includes  some of America, I feel that Hillary is being cheated all the way down the line. Yet I want to make the statement I made when Bush was Appointed, "Remember You Chose", if Hillary doesn't win, remember you  Chose.
This is GREAT news. Hopefully a start of a string of victories for Hilliary.

At least she has substance to her ideas.
