I don't believe the result of the New Mexico caucuse. Why don't you write about the 4 voting machines that were taken home by 2 election officials before the votes from those machines were counted. Also why don't you inform the Americans that the officials were supporters of Hillary Clinton. Why is it that the media is not talking about this incident. It was on the internet last week.
Why have there been all these huge headlines every time Obama wins a state and this story about Clinton winning New Mexico is a little after-thought?

Obama has won states with fewer delegates and it's like Clinton's headquarters said, it's not the number of states, it's the number of delegates that count.

I'm just extremely aware of how heavily the press is favoring Obama -- and wonder if those in the press realize that the effect of that favoritism is as powerful as an ad campaign.

It would be really great if the people had a chance to vote before the press decides who has won. I wonder if that will ever happen in this democratic country that claims that the people have a voice. Seems more like the press has the voice.
No big deal, according to Clinton caucuses don't count.
typical billary win,...1/2 a percentage point,....obama wins in landslides!!
First two points:

Re an Edwards endorsement: Given the various positions of the three as they presented themselves up to the point at which Edwards left, since he did not endorse Obama on leaving, that, and his disingenuous trial lawyer filibustering on the point of Obama voting "present" in Illinois suggested that he was no less self absorbed than Clinton.  I HAD suggested, after Edwards' reaction to Kerry's endorsement of Obama, that should Obama become the nominee, Obama's pursuit of an Obama/Edwards ticket might not be a bad idea. No longer.

Re seating the FL and MI delegations:  The rules were set. The candidates agreed. End of story. Thus any seating of those delegates should not inure to the advantage or disadvantage of either candidate in any way.

Second Clinton and Obama on the same ticket is a very bad idea. Quite frankly neither should offer, and, if it came to that, neither should accept. Reasons:

1. Their visions for the country and the functioning of the political system going forward seem entirely different.

2.  Their visions of the primary role of potus are vastly different. Listening to them, succinctly, he envisions leader, she manager.

3.  Bill Clinton. What will be awaiting one is Billary not Hillary. If they displayed the behaviour in public which they did, imagine what perniciousness one would face in, relatively speaking, behind-closed-door circumstances.

4. The significantly different mindsets brought to the task.

Looks like the establishment will know, in two to three weeks, whether or not it will get its lady. Obama is the underdog until he goes home or to the White house, whichever comes first.
what happens when Edwards endorses Clinton or Obama? Do those votes go to the endorsee?
Why is this news buried.  I'm quite sure if Obama had won New Mexico, no matter how small a lead, it would have been Headline News.  But instead, once again, the men get the headlines.  Give us a break with this blatantly biased reporting.  Anything negative about Clinton seems to grab the headlines, but a WIN AT THIS CRITICAL TIME is made to be minor news.  There is still a democratic campaign with TWO candidates.  Barak Obama has been given all the headlines all week long.  The media is up to their tricks alright.  The making of stars and celebrities seems to be their specialty, certainly not fair and balanced reporting.  I and a lot of people are  absolutely fed up with the media's rampant favoring of Obama from the get-go.  I thought opinions were reserved for the editorial page, not the front page!!!
But those don't count as per the Billary rule since it is a caucus state
YOU GO GIRL! I new you could do it.  DONT YOU OBAMA SUPPORTERS EVER COUNT OUT CLINTON YET. YOU BETTER HANG ON BY THE THREADS OF YOUR PANTS THIS AINT OVER YET.
You GO HILLARY
One must assume that the Clinton vctory in New Mexico that Obama supporters were unable to take off from work to vote.

No need to question these results.
FAVORING ONE CANDIDATE, OBAMA IS AN UNACCEPTABLE MEDIA/NETWORK PROFESSIONALISM.

JUST REMEMBER THE GOLDREN RULE"DON'T DO UNTO OTHERS WHAT OTHERS DON'T WANT TO DO TO YOU"....

MRS. CLINTON IS JUST A GENUINE AND SINCERE PERSON AND YOU ARE MISSING A GREAT DEAL OF HER ...

Congrats, Hilary. Of course, I don't see any big headlines about this nor are there tickers running across the bottom of the TV screen. And, funny, I didn't hear Obama offer his congrats today.  Hmmm..didn't people rip Hilary apart for not acknowleding Obama's wins Tuesday?
Uncounted Rio Arriba County ballots raise eyebrows

quote:
Several sources told me the ballot boxes spent the night at the home of Rio Arriba County Democratic Party Chair Theresa Martinez, whose state-lawmaker husband, Sen. Richard Martinez, endorsed Hillary Clinton. But Richard Martinez told Santa Fe New Mexican reporter Kate Nash that the boxes actually spent the night in the homes of three polling-place managers. He gave Nash no explanation for why the results from those ballots weren’t reported to the state party last night and why they were instead kept overnight in officials’ homes.

Tight!  This is not a state with a large African American population. The demographics are very encouraging.  Good for U.S., obviously, we (the U.S.) are not as easily swayed by race as one of the Campaigns was hoping.
I just wanted to tell keith that i'm an ex con, drug seller, user, abuser. For the last 14yrs i've proudly been on the straight and narrow.I WENT FROM LIKING YOUR SHOW TO LOVING IT TONIGHT! KEITH, THE PEOPLE THAT SUPPORT AND EARN FROM THE MIDDLE EAST SITUATION WILL TERRORIZE AMERICANS TO GET THEIR WAY. SHORT OF JESUS COMING BACK AND WALKING OBAMA INTO THE WHITE HOUSE, IT WON'T HAPPEN...
I am sick and tired of MSN counting out Hillary Clinton because Hillary has a beter chance of winning Texas, Ohio and especially Pennsylvania than Obama plus Obama is a muslim! I am not prejudiced but I cant see a muslim running this country!
Hillary will win!!!!
Go Hillary!

Can You Say ... S-u-s-p-e-c-t?

If California, with over 10 Million Voters could tally its results by the next day ... What is the problem with the State whose Governor spent Super Bowl Sunday with President Clinton?

No wonder Richarson had to drop out. The handling of this primary by h-i-s election officials is disgraceful.  There are reports that 3-boxes of ballots were in homes of some Clinton supporters.  Over 17000 votes were disallowed.

Oh well:  It is what it is ...
Not enought.  Time to drop.
GO HILLARY!!!
I am very happy that Senator Clinton has Won New Mexico
Congratulations! I pray that she continue to keep her promise of universal Health Care for every America up front because Senator Obama only support Health Care for the Children, Don't he KNOW that you can't have the children without the mother! Hooray! Hooray Hillary Clinton for President of the United State of America.

Supporter of Hillary for President
Great win Hillary. 9 states, not bad...if Obama didn't have 19!

And by the way....this probably isn't important to you anyway huh? Considering caucuses don't really "represent the electorate", and are full of those pesky "activists". So this win is a totally uneventful to the NY Senator.

If I were in one of these caucuses I would be ticked at her.
It's something to be said that out of 144,501 total votes in New Mexico, with it's huge Latino vote, that Clinton only won by 1709 votes when Latinos are supposed to be part of her "base". I think this is a sign of things to come for other states and especially Texas.
Hmmm...yet she repeatedly put down the American caucus process, calling its participants "politcal activists" when Obama won all those caucuses.  And now it's different when the caucus participants and Mexican and she wins?  Americans really need to understand this mindset. I hold no disrespect for my Mexicans brothers and sisters, but why is she okay with the Mexican caucus but not Colorado and others?
I smell something very fishy with these New Mexico results! Obama had been in the lead by well over 1,000 votes when the results were first counted - and with nearly all the precincts reporting. Now Clinton has edged ahead by the same amount!!?
And why did it take so very long to count such a few number of votes?  And yes, I'm talking about rigging here... everyone knows what happened in New Hampshire. And now it's spreading.
Clinton has major victories on Super Tuesday--and New Mexico is another now on the list!

Me and my family are FULLY behind Clinton with both support and financial contributions.

We expect the media to treat this race fairly.

We know she can prevail; JUST BECAUSE SHE IS SLIGHTLY BEHIND DOESN'T GIVE ANY NETWORK THE RIGHT TO WRITE HER OFF....THEY SURE DIDN'T DO THAT WHEN BARACK WAS BEHIND!

Clinton...YES WE WILL !!!!
It is interesting that this has taken 2wks for them to count the vote. I wounder how many were added with boxes locked in somes home for 3 days?

Just something to look into.
In political time, that was a million years ago.
here we go
for people who count Clinton off , I am sure they are having bad nights ahead as things are just started, I am a black man but am so ashame the way things are going . Black are calling black to vote for Obama (wich i idmire) but let face it , could white call for white to vote for Clinton? that race thing is not correct...
mike
Is this how the Clintons want to win the coveted Democratic nomination - by rigging of the vote? It is well known that an election official (and Clinton supporter) carried home 3 ballot boxes. And what did she do with them? Your guess is as good as mine!
And then they try to pressure the Dem. Party to include the Florida and Michigan "delegates" - when there really was no contest in those states!! Come ON!!
Is Florida going to be synonymous with rigging - by the Bushs and Clintons? Shame on them!
srf0711,15022008. I am so sorry The true democratics
did not vote for LauraBush!  Ms,rice arrest them!!!!

The New Mexico Democratic Party caucus may be tainted by three ballot boxes that spent the night in the home of the Rio Arriba County party chair or the homes of other local election officials instead of being reported to the state party.

Those ballots still haven’t been counted, but they have been retrieved by the state party.

Hillary may have won New Mexico but let's see the delegate split. I bet it is fairly even based on the votes both received.
GO HILLARY...This is great news even though it's a narrow margin.  Add another state to the win column. Let's hope she does well in all the remaining contests.  I'm looking forward to a Hillary & John Mc Cain match-up in the fall.
I glad it has finally been posted that she won New Mexico.
It's about time. Just another sign that Clinton has shown she can win anywhere.
Go hillary, we love you and will continue campaigning for you!!
Okay heres start the political, deceitful "trickery". Does is really take 9 days to count 17,000 provisional or absentee ballots when millions were counted in other states? Obama was declared the winner of that state 9 days ago and because of his obvious momentum...17,000 ballots not counted on that day gave Clinton the victory? If they steal this election from Obama im changing my affiliations to Conservative Independent from now own. If you look at his turn-outs and support this race should not be as close as it is. Even in the states she won {outside of 2}, he is right on here heels in count, but he blows here out the water in his victories....
Congrats Hillary on long awaited win.You keep going and soon we will see your hand on the Bible doing us all proud.
Congrats Hillary on long awaited win.You keep going and soon we will see your hand on the Bible doing us all proud.
Go Hillary!
Win Texas, Ohio, and Pennsylvania!!
The Comeback Kid, Part II, Hillary saves America From Obamania!!!
Hillary won New Mexico - by a whisker. Obama won Maine by a landside. And we did it trudging through a snowstorm. Go Obama!
Boy, this must have the media (aka Obama's cheerleader squad) stewing!  I used to watch a lot of Hardball, Countdown and CNN programs but as much as I hate to say-they have become about as fair and balanced as FOX. I would think nationsl media types would be embarrassed by their obvious crush on Obama and all the passes they have given him.  Just a pat on Barack's rump and a go get 'er attitude.  But what do we have here?  Mostly white, well paid males who clearly don't want a female as President so support Obaba.  Olbermann made the comment last night about Clinton becoming more available to the press to one of his bobble head guests.  If I were Senator Clinton, I'd tell most of these guys to take a leap.
Should obamites will be reacting this way if obama had won NM? give me a brake ... when she wins is not important, when he wins? again he is a slick talker but no substance. Do we need a president like him, no way
