A hat tip to the Atlantic's Marc Ambinder, who broke the news that there is a pro-Clinton 527 planning "an expensive, stealth campaign to buttress her standing in the must-win states of Ohio, Texas and Pennsylvania," he writes. "They're canvassing Clinton donors for pledges of up to $100,000 in the hope of raising at least $10M by the end of next week."

And a hat tip to Politico's Ben Smith, where we found the video of the 527's first ad for Clinton to run in Ohio.

I believe the grandmother figure in the 'Nutty Professor' said the right words for this.  "Bring it on Cletus.  You might be walking over, but you're limping back."

Why don't you just concede Billary.  You can't win.

Go Obama!
How come MSNBC has not been reporting the voter "fraud" in NYC?  78 precincts show 0 votes for Obama, in places like Harlem!  Even the Mayor of NY is calling it fraud and yet, where is this on MSNBC and First Read?  Too busy?  Seems to me this is a pretty big story.

Busted!
I am sorry but at this point Clinton's chances are zero. Anyone who continues to spend money on her campaign is throwing good money after bad.
Um, what's a 527?
first!
Looks like she can't win on policy, can't win on personality, can't win on the (supposed) experience factor, so I guess it's time to swiftboat Obama. This is exactly the kind of politics Obama is trying to change. If by some chance she is the nominee, I will both vote for McCain and leave the democratic party.
Blah blah blah. Voters cannot vote for 527 organizations trying to Swift Boat them into voting for a bully. Good luck Hillary, though.
P.S. Why don't we have federal  legislation to hold candidates accountable for their lies and deceptions? Bush lied the nation into war, and now we are trying to be deceived into voting for a Hillary Clinton Administration. Hold both Obama and Hillary ACCOUNTABLE for lying to votes. Voters are the judges and their votes are like the votes of the Supreme Court justices, so they should be held in ontempt of voters.
Oh I can hear all the pundits and all the newscasters and all the Obama Maniacs crying FOUL!  But guess what? That is what you call innovation!  Hillary may be down but she is not out because she is a fighter and she believes in what she is fighting for, which is all of us have nots!  And that is EXACTLY what I want in a president. Keep on trucking Girl!
Teamster Union is gonna Endorse Barack Obama this afternoon. Just in time, since that clinton idiot come out with his rampage.

This from Clinton News Network.

Barack Obama for President!!!!!!!!!!
God, she really is gross....
Does the Clinton camp really think this is going to work?  Her own ads didn't work in WI.  Now, Obama's got Union support going for the states that he is in.  Combine that with the huge margins he wins young voters and men by, and it just won't happen for Hillary.

Edwards, Dean, Dodd, Biden, and Gore need to step in and put her down.  If they don't soon, it could spell significant trouble for the Democratic Party.  And it will be Hillary's fault.
I love it. Do whatever it take to win. Down with the muslim/black/christian.

Sorry Obama-mama get ready to get run over by the Clinton machine.

Clinton 2008
NEW OHIO AD: Hillary Will Stand Up For Hardworking Families Who Are Too Often Overlooked
COLUMBUS, OH- Hillary outlines her commitment to stand up for hardworking Ohioans who are too often overworked, underpaid and overlooked in a new ad airing statewide in Ohio today.

The 30- second television spot titled "Night Shift," outlines Hillary’s agenda to provide all American families with access to quality, affordable health care, increased day care and help with elder care.

To view the ad, click here: http://youtube.com/watch?v=w7g0NxL2g-M

Following is a script for "Night Shift."

[Announcer:] You pour coffee, fix hair, you work the night shift at the local hospital. You're often overworked, underpaid, and sometimes overlooked.

But not by everyone.

One candidate has put forth an American family agenda to make things easier for everyone who works so hard.

Universal healthcare.

Increased daycare.

And help with elder health care.

She understands. She's worked the night shift, too.

[HRC:] I'm Hillary Clinton and I approved this message
Domenico-

Is that what you do all day is to find this Obama bashing news?
Go Hillary We Know you can do it.  Mr. Obama and his cult of followers will soon be running out of gas.

Clinton brand politics ...not accepted in Hawaii OR Alaska!!! HA!
If Hilary goes negative on a fellow dem she is no better than G.W. after his destruction of McCain in S.C. in 2000.

bubba up north
Yeah, right, $10M for negative ads, I think not!! Republicans are going to argue, how can you unite the country when you tore down and divided your own party!!
Clinton needs to go home and rest. Let Obama go to the White House and maybe after 8 yrs of Obama she may reconsider and run again.

I think she needs to run during a year when there is no one who is as eloquent and honest as Obama, then she can stand a chance.
MSNBZZZZZZ had better start fighting macain. HILLIARY HAS BEEN DONE IN BY media elite like MATHEWS SHUSTER OBERMAN SCARBORO
dirty tricks will not win this election!not this time!!
WOW!!! Again they will do anything to win.

Obama in 08
Even though Clinton has excess baggage and an abrasive personality, she may make a better president than Obama. The more I hear this barack speak and his supporters wail, the less substance appears. Clinton may not have a chance against McCain in the general election, but at least we would know her positions and personality. Obama is cloaked in a sphere of mystery and a cloud of wonderment, but there may not be any substance to him. As some have expressed we may not find the wizard behind that curtain. As Dorothy found that the wizard was a snake oil salesman and part time fortuneteller we may find that Obama is a puff of fresh air that turns stale. As the general election approaches the curtain will be pulled back and many independents may flock to McCain as a sure bet. Here in Texas (For a long time we have had no presidential commercials) we have national presidential campaign commercials and Obama has not impressed me with his efforts.
If she has to resort to this for a <i>Democrat</i>, what would she have to do to beat a Republican?

Ready to lead on Day One! (As soon as she figures out what those pesky Texas delegate rules are.)
It will be a waste of Democrat money - in fact, it will be Democrat money spent to help John McCain. Hillary is already defeated. Even if she wins the popular vote in Texas, which is very doubtful, Obama will win the majority of delegates there because his campaign is so much stronger and smarter than hers.

Hillary should save everyone's money and quit. But failing that, she should at least not try so desperately to resurrect herself by tearing down the party's clear choice. She got 24% in Hawaii, 17% in Idaho, 25% in Kansas, 32% in Colorado, Nebraska, Washington and Minnesota. Hear the message, Hillary? You are rejected.
She's going to need all the help she can get against Obama's Internet funding machine. At last check he was raking in greenbacks at twice the speed she was.

Come on MSNBC, what about Obama's 527s? We could use a story profiling these groups on both sides. Key question, particularly for pro-Clinton 527s (only b/c Obama is kicking her butt right now): at what point would you be concerned with hurting the party's chances in November?

http://www.nationalscold.com
Oh Goody. Let them go negative. Obama will beat her even quicker. Thats the only way to win, go negative. That is exactly why we need change. That is the same old stuff. We are sick and tired of it. They are only going to fustrate themselves and waste money.  Going negative will render Texas and Ohio to Obamba on a silver platter. That negative crap is an insult to the American people.
I think what she needs the most is a better speechwriter as Obama has.
That will change everything!
In Hillary vs McCain…McCain wins. He will get tons of the male vote and some of the womens vote. Obama is winning now for some of the same reasons McCain would win against her. The male vote is strong right now and Hillary must be doing something wrong if her base of women is being compromised as well. Bill has become basically and idiot in this campaign, and he and Hillary are both now lightning rods because of their behavior.
Hillary galvanizes a split Republican party period! And I don't see her, especially the way she has handled herself in this primary, beating McCain. The Repub machine will draw off her meltdown in the primary and continue to expose the ridiculousness of their tag-team campaign stategy…something they cannot SPIN.
The Clinton's have been a disaster for the Dems. If Bill keeps his cigars to himself we wouldn't be in Iraq with a mounting trillion dollar deficit financed by China. And if Hillary was her own woman…(instead of sanctioning a tag-team effort with Bill to play the same ole' crap slinging politics that, ironically, bounced Romney out and McCain in) she would have put Bill on a leash and understood that AMERICA IS TIRED OF BUSH/CLINTON POWER PLAY POLITICS. These families are prima donna's that come in as if they have some kind of ENTITLEMENT to the Oval Office. NO MORE I SAY!!!
527s are why public financing is BS.
I just heard on NPR Day-to-Day program that Hillary is yet again shaking up her campaign staff.
Maybe they are doing this because they know something the Gullable Obama supporters don't!

Republicans are crossing party lines to vote against Hillary so they can easily maintain the White House..

In PA it's perfectly legal to register Dem for the day of the primary- and then switch back for the GE.

This "plan" is once again working just as the Repubs thought it would!

Watch how they "crush" your In Experienced Choice.

very sad.......

Do whatever it takes

Clinton 2008
For the uninitiated ... this is the only way Hillary can access big bucks from individual donors. Obama has 500,000 givers, giving $20, $50, up to $2300 ... Hillary's $2300 givers are maxed out. So, she games the system to get $100,000 contributions. Ick.
Sen Clinton raises 10 million, Sen. Obama raises 36 million. It is absolutely amazing when Sen. Clinton challenges the Obama campaign people react and propel Sen. Obama to the next level.  I am at aw this is a magnificant happening right now and I am just glad to have lived to see it.  I am happy with tears of joy that the our great country has found a way to move beyond the past and come together.  Everyone who has participated in this years election should be proud of their work and efforts that have put forth.
Tonya Harding didn't win the Olympics. Hillary clinton won't win the White House.
did you see the page story in the Cleveland Leader this morning?  Hillary won't need any extra help.  Obama has done himself in for sure.
She is a fighter ONLY for her personal ambitions!
Whooo ... it's just day one after WI & Hawaii.

I think this is a serious miscalculation by the Clintons. The superDs will not side with that because they know if this backdoor smearing starts it will break the party.

Well, I don't have $10Mio but I can spare another $50 for the Obama movement ! OBAMA'08
I wonder what those dopes think Obama's camp will be doing while they prepare for the swiftboat? Do they really think Obama is going to do the Kerry thing and let them swiftboat him. Hillary is operating like it is 1990. Times have changed!
Now a Democrat is going to try and pull a Lee Atwater on a fellow Democrat and think they can win the general election following such a stunt?

Aargh, Senator John McCain is probably above such tactics.  I figured the 527's would have a VERY hard time in the general election since Senator John McCain opposes them so vociferously.  Unfortunately, Senator Clinton apparently has no such scrupples.

I hope Senator Clinton changes her mind.  After all, the United States of America is her country too and dragging us all through the mud is so depressing.  I might add I don't think it will work this year anyway.

Yes we can!  Obama '08
Forgive me if I too don’t have too much faith in the people of this county. I mean they did elect GWB the SECOND time!! A country who is so celebrity obsessed that they could not get enough Anna Nicole Smith and now not enough of Britney Spears. Forgive me if I don’t follow the fanatic followers who are being lead down a path by a smooth talking man with zero experience to lead this nation. Wake up America!!
It is disturbing that Obama has entered the mainstream of our lives and the media and has given him "carte blanche" in most everything he says or does.  Hillary Clinton who has had been held to a higher standard and I am sure if she had only 2 years as a senator under her belt would be blasted and labeled as having no experience to even try.

She has been maligned up and down by the misogynist press and organizations such as MSNBC and others and it appears that nothing can stop it.

Why should it be so different between a bi-racial man and a woman candidate?  Why are they not being looked at evenly handedly and why is so much about this woman about her spouse?
Had the exploits of the media been fair, I might have agreed, that the most popular should get the nomination; but now I ask, why shouldn’t Clinton take advantage of the super delegates?  It has not been an even playing field, will continue not to be an even playing field; the primaries are not over and the fight has yet to begin. We are to stand behind the party for democracy and unite behind the popular candidate, why not the best candidate?  Obama is an empty suit filled with empty promises and if nominated let alone elected will be bad for the Democratic party and for the Country.  The stolen 2000 election changed us, and not for the better, this one could certainly end the Democratic party.

Linda,
Whre did you go to school? Did you learn to hate when you cannot cease calling people "Muslim/black/Christian" as if you are a triple racist/bigot. You are ranting agaisnt Muslims, against blacks, and finally Christians. The best way to rally around your candidate is to be hateful, right?
you need to educate yourself. Otherwise, you are desperately seeking for a woman to win at all costs so that you can say "see, woman be president". Of course, women can be anything hey want tobe.
she needs to go to jail, for all the crimes janet reno didnt prosecute=====this woman is dangerous
Typical Clinton.  Can't win on her own so she cowers in a corner wimpering under the pressure of her extreme incompetance begging others to fight her battles for her.  This only proves that if she did make it to the White House she would be the most gutless wimp of a President ever.  She would crawl begging to Bill to fix all of the problems because she is so utterly incompetant.
I am at a loss for words when I think about the (supposedly) intelligent people who are lining up in droves to join Obama's cult.  Do you people not care anymore about our country than to vote in someone who is nothing more than an inspirational speaker.  Funny, most of his supporters cannot name ONE single accomplishment of Obama's while in the Senate, as was proven by a fellow Senator from TX who is supporting Obama, last night on msnbc. When asked by Chris Matthews, he couldn't name a single accomplishment.  This seems to be very common among Obama supporters. They're supposedly educated Dems., but you wouldn't know it.  Hillary Clinton will make a comeback in TX & OH.
I agree with Andrew in Missouri. If Hillary supporters go with 527 attack ads, Biden, Dodd, and Edwards should step in and tell Hillary to drop out.
Lucky for her, I believe everything 527s like Swift Boat Veterans for Truth tell me. If they could make an ad with scary background music that tell me that the world is a scary place and Hillary is the only person who can protect me, then I will definitely vote for her!
I wish I could believe that Hillary Clinton was honest in her motives to be president.  The problem she has is that she felt all along that she was entitled to the presidency.  this entitlement shows very badly in her speeches, policies and her attack ads.  Keep going Obama you are what we need in American not another BUSH/CLNTON Nightmare.
