Clinton keeps swinging

From NBC/NJ's Athena Jones, NBC's Domenico Montanaro and Mark Murray
DALLAS, Texas -- Clinton continued the same lines of attack she's been using since yesterday, hitting Obama on national security issues. She had a sharper-sounding line as she sought to define the premise of her opponent's candidacy. She gave two reasons she says he uses to show he's qualified to be president.

“My opponent, he basically says there are two reasons why he is qualified to be commander in chief,” Clinton told a crowd ousesf about 2,500 to 3,000, which appeared to be the largest gathered since the 12,000-person rally in El Paso the night of the Chesapeake Primaries. “He gave a speech against the Iraq war in 2002, and I give him credit for that. He gave a speech at an anti-war rally. Well, then within two years he had decided that maybe he wasn't sure which way he would have actually voted if he had been a senator and that maybe George Bush wasn't doing such a bad job in Iraq after all.

“And then he often cites on his resume the fact that he is the chairman of the subcommittee on European Affairs, which has jurisdiction over NATO, which as you know is our ally in Afghanistan. But he didn't tell you until the debate the other night that he never even held a single substantive hearing to figure out what he could do better."

While the 2002 speech certainly has been a centerpiece of Obama's campaign as part of an argument on "judgment," Obama never said George Bush “wasn't doing such a bad job in Iraq.” He also doesn't tout his chairmanship on the European Affairs subcommittee. He does say, though that he is a member of the U.S. Senate Foreign Relations Committee. In addition, at the debate, Clinton brought up the chairmanship -- not Obama -- and used it to deliver an effective line against him. Obama did attempt to justify his lack of holding hearings after Clinton pointed it out, however, saying that he had only been given the chairmanship 13-months ago -- when he started running for president.

The American people don't need anymore of the same.  What exactly is all this "experience" Clinton claims to have??? Whitewater.  Monica L., etc., etc.  Hillary Clinton can't run her own household, what makes anyone think she can run the country!!  The US will be doomed if one more Clinton "good ol' boy" ends up in the WH.   OBAMA ALL THE WAY

I'm beginning to wonder why none of my comments have ever been posted...
Sen Clinton is trying to play America for a fool.  She says she is the most experience that is why she should be the nominee.  Well I have a question for Sen Clinton if she wins the nominee and it goes like this.  Since Sen McCain has more experience then her should Sen McCain be the President?
'I'm mad as hell and I'm not going to take it anymore!'"  This media bias for Obama is ridiculous!
There's an old adage, (one of my father's favorites) which is "You can learn a lot, just by listening." And I would add, you can learn a lot more just by paying attention.  Case in point:

The latest Hillary commercial suggesting that she should be the one in the White House at 3 AM to best protect our nation is a case in point.

I suggest that we all critically watch that commercial.  It's 3 AM right?  Then why is she not in her pajamas or nightgown at 3 AM?  On the commercial she is fully attired in one of her pant suits, complete with necklace, hair combed, etc.

Draw your own conclusions.

It's ratings, not reality!

The media is loving the fight between Obama and Clinton, it is driving their ratings through the roof with a rare longer than expected primary fight on the Democratic side.

It is in their interest to make the race seem closer than it is.

But here is the reality and you can crunch the numbers yourself, by going to any of the major news sites.

If Clinton does not win by huge margins, and I mean 20 points or better in Ohio and Texas, she can not win the nomination without most of Obama's super delegates switching to support her.

It just seems amazing to me that the Clinton campaign is getting away with leading the media by the nose to change expectations. The Clinton camp is saying such things as Obama has to win all 4 contest Monday. They are not saying that for the face value of the comment. They are saying it so that people will think, "OK, well Obama better at least win Ohio and Texas".

They are trying to move the expectation for 20 point wins by Clinton, which is highly unlikely, to more modest results. This would make it seem like any success is a momentum changer when in reality it is not.

Don't believe the hype. Clinton must win by 20 points in BOTH Ohio or Texas otherwise this game is over.

Take away her husband and Hillary wouldn't even be a factor.  She's locked in the '70's, thinking the '90's were the thing, and can't even see that time has moved on.  If Obama is only an idea or an image, then why is she now trying to imitate his campaign.  Placing her up on a stand in the middle of crowd -- how sad, how pathetic.
The Clinton's are nothing but professional liars!!!!! They B.Sed this nation and want the next 4 years to keep the rich richer and the poor poorer. I hope they both rot in Hell!!!!!
