From NBC/NJ's Athena Jones
Crowd on riser here at Hillary event has a chant I've never heard before:

H-I-L-L-A-R-Y, she's much better than the guy!

Ohio Gov. Ted Strickland, Rep. Stephanie Tubbs Jones and John Glenn are on stage now revving up the already revved up crowd.

I am really fed up with the press, especially people like Chris Matthews. Give us the news and facts. Not push their opinions on us.We are being deprived of proper coverage, instead we are listening to the press opinion. The same press who gave us Bush.
Please we want news, not opinions
H I L L A R Y C L I N T O N . C O M . PLEASE COME VISIT, AND JOIN IN ON THE CONVERSATION. WE WELCOME YOUR VISIT.
Strickland is only delusional in that he is helping McCain by having Hillary as his opponent in Sept. to easily crush her. There is not much difference on foreign policy between Hillary and McWar, so if she becoems the nominee, McCain must thank Strickland.
No kidding...

My first impression was that "the guy" was Bill.

Hear ye, hear ye--I think she is much better than the ol' boy.
To all those people who are willing to lower themselves to whatever it takes, "this one's for you".
Good Job Ohio, you just elected John Mcanin.
Fact: Obama has more delegates
Fact: Obama has more votes
Fact: Obama has won more states
Fact: Clinton was up by at least 20 points in both states 3 weeks ago
Fact: Both Ohio and Texas will be close.
By any measure, in any election and with any candidate, tonight would be viewed as a setback, if not a disaster for Ms. Clinton. Despite her lead of three weeks ago, she will manage only a draw this evening and will not gain any delegates.

The best political team on televisiondoes not report or emphasize these facts enough, but rather chooses to privilege conjecture, speculation and opinion. Where's the journalism? You are not writing a fiction, inventing a narrative that only serves to miseducate the viewers.
I'm sorry, did Hillary just say she won Florida? How/when did this happen?
Hillary: Never, never give up! Go get them girl!!
YES SHE WIL!!!!!!!!!                                DESPITE  MSNBC...............GO HILLARY ALL THE WAY!
I am happy that Hillary has won Ohio, and I hope she wins Texas. I think that the media and others need to focus on the issues and stop treating her like she's the anti Christ. Give her a break.
Hillary made a GREAT speech tonight! She looks and sounds positive, upbeat. She looks like a winner! YES SHE CAN!
i just left the cacacus for my district and was disappointed in the turn out for both side a total of 109 people.
We are in a recession and we get to spend more money on an election that is already mathematically decided?
Yep - she is much better than obama and his rcist ties and shadey realistate dealings and calling canada saying that his NAFTA talk wa sonly talk - he is  joke > a puppet  - lol!
I am a Clinton voter, but I love the way this primary season has excited people, gotten people out to vote, and given all of us a chance to embrace change in the future. I love the democratic process when it works the way it is supposed to. Yeah!!!
YOU DAM WELL RIGHT SHE WON FLORIDA. AND YOU BET YOUR SWEET A-- IT BETTER COUNT.
I am tired of MSNBC and their anchors forcing what we should think. They just don't realize that Hillary Momentum is just getting started and "YES WE WILL" Get her to victory ...

GO HILLARY !!!
is obama really who we want to win? do he have muslim ties? what about his stand on abortions.  Hillary is no better when it comes to abortions, do we continue to kill innocent babies? something to think about.
Lets pray and make the right choice.  God knows we need the right person in Office.
The media, press whatever you call yourselves. Stop persecuting Hillary! You are not even objective! Why don't you ask Obama when he is going to quit?
Why should Hillary stop her campaign, it is going very well, by America's account - especially with the press, throwing all kinds of dirt on her, and wishing Obama is the " King". Shame on the press! It's time to be fair to Hillary! I even discontinue LA Times, because it chose to endorse Obama! Press and media should be non-biased, stay out of opinions and positioning or spinning for another candidate.
Hillary is doing fantastic with such negative media's coverage, so far!
HILLARY! She proven herself to be the strongest Democratic candidate to me and to my state of OHIO!!! I am proud to be from OHIO, and will be in the fall when Ohio finally goes Democratic!!!  I do like Obama as well, (I am 22 and he is hope and rockstar quality excite many my age) but I trust Hillary Clinton to get the foreign policy stuff right from the start…which is desperately needed.  The escalating situation with Iran, the trade and deficit issues with China, and of course Iraq.  I am also confident in her health care plan…knowing that she has put years of hard work into developing a well-rounded plan allows me to say this.  We can trust that she knows this issue well and that she will fight for us.  I do have to say this though:  Democrats—let’s stick together no matter what happens!  We know that domestically speaking we are in need of our parties care.  We know that our foreign policy must shift and be refocused.  I, the 22 year old optimist that I am, am proud to be a Democrat.  HILLARY 2008.

go hillary - the rest of the world needs a president with your qualities - a canadian
Even by some chance Mrs. Clinton wins . She can't beat Mccain. Washington is not going to let Bill back into the White House.
go hillary - the rest of the world needs a president with your qualities - a canadian
Sabena,
First Read actually is not a news site; it is a blog analyzing the day's political happenings. You can go to www.msnbc.com or other media outlets and select the Politics link.
I know (shelly)the caucus in our district was low in numbers too, but out of 25 out of 30 people there voted for HILLARY!!!! I know this because I knew all the people there because we live in the same area, it's a friendly district :) It's sooooo exciting to be a part of history.  I love it.
After seven years of Bush, you'd think people would be eager for change.  Instead, all they seem to want is another Bush in pumps.

Don't wake up the morning after with buyers remorse, like those who voted for Bush twice.  By then it will be too late.

She voted for a war based on stupidity.  She voted for the bankruptcy reform bill.  She approved of NAFTA.  She screwed up universal health care in 92.  I guess she really does have the makings to be a great president.

OBAMA 08
I just want to know this, if Hillary is elected president will that make Bill Clinton the first man. That sure sounds stupid.

Way to go Hillary.  voter in n.c. Hope you can go all the way.
I can't wait for Hilary to come to Pa. She will make a great president for the United States as her husband did. They are for the people. He proved it the 8 years he was in. We didnt have a big national debt in fact we were out of debt. Look back in history everytime a republican gets in for Pres. we are in debt and it takes a good democrat to get us out. I know bill's history but he is no different than the rest of the men in this country including McCain with his little honey from Homer city pa. So we need to think before we vote and obama is just a big talker. no one heard of him till now. He maybe the antichrist. look at his background. barrack hussein obama that tells me enough right there. Go hilary...we know you can make it
I am insulted by a "former" First Lady acting like a "vetted" pompous "I deserve the Dem nomination" candidate. As an INDIGNANT fellow Democrat, IF she wins the Democratic party's nomination. and CONTINUES this righteous indignation and insulting behavior, I WIL NOT VOTE in November ! I am sorely apalled and disheartened with Hillary...I THOUGHT she had more CLASS !
****************************************************
OBAMA MUST PRESS HILLARY FOR THE RELEASE OF HER TAX RETURN AND WHITE HOUSE PAPERS --- OR HE WILL LOSE.
*****************************************************
Huckabee plays to win second and the media projects a bright future for him in the Republican party...Hillary is still fighting for the nomination and she's "supposedly" according to the pundits fighting for her political life?

A vote for obama is a nation divided.  A vote for Obama is a vote for no experience, no record of actually making any changes or improvements.  Anyone can talk like they mean it, but you gotta show it before it counts.  Go Hillary!!!!!!
Ladies and Gentlemen, the President of the USA,Hillary Rodham Clinton!!! To NBC/MSNBC SOB Club
(Sycophants of Barrack)....Take that!
How wonderful to have someone who cares about the American citizen and is willing to work for them and their bests interest in our global world.  Senator Clinton and Senator Obama have made this election process exciting, interesting, and dynamic and about the nation gone wrong. Go Hillary Clinton!  Yes, you can take on McCain!
Doesn't it tell people anything that the higher educated are opting for Obama???  Duped???
Go Hillary! Cheers to the most qualified, experienced and educated canidate for presidency in 2008!!
It's interesting to me that the Clinton supporters would chant "yes she will." It provides an interesting insight between the two candidates. "Yes she will" connotes a liberal individualist perspective, while "yes we can" is closer to a communitarian appeal. "Yes we can invites possibilities, while "yes she will" is more limiting. The liberal individualist approach invites people to cast their vote for Clinton, and sit back and relax while she and her administration run things for us. "Yes we can" invites audiences to participate in the process of governing. The work doesn't stop at election day. Election day is merely the beginning.
Weird how politics is treated like a team sport, they even have team sport cheers. I thought this was a domain of republicans but apparently not.
Yeah Hillary!!!  We really NEED a strong & honest woman to run our country ... She doesn't back down and can take all the media dishes her!! Yeah Hillary!! Take No Prisoners!!!
STOP HATING ON HILLARY !!!THE MEDIA IS SO INCREDIBLY BIAS STOP FORCING OBAMA DOWN OUR THROATS SHE IS OUR GIRL!!!!!
Is anyone else disturbed by the very concept that only she claims that she wins the "important" states?  This is a national party, isn't it?  Democrats in Idaho are still members of the party.  Their party should reflect (to some degree) their views.  If not, why not just have primaries in states that Kerry won in 2004?
Keith Olbermann just announced over TV tonight 3/5 after the Super Tuesday II results that Hillary Clinton has some six TV morning appearances, including Fox News, Morning Joe, Good Morning America, etc.

Take note: When Barack Obama won over 25 states and was leading in the number of  delegates (which he still does), none of these outlets invited Barack Obama for interviews.  To me this just shows that the white media wants their own to win the democratic nomination.  If Barack had lost as many states as Hillary had lost, the media and the Democratic Party bosses would have hounded him out long ago.  But Hillary Clinton? - no. they keep her in and when she wins another few states they rejoice and invite her on all the talk shows.
The guy - Obama - came virtually from no where to overtake the the vaunted decades-in-the-making Clinton machine. But is the media inviting him for interviews.  No, because what he has done means nothing to them.  His all-inclusive message contrasts sharply with Clinton's gender-based message.  But the media does not want to hear it.
Barack will go on to win many more contests but I think they will all be downplayed or belittled by the media.

This shows you why Barack cannot win in the General Election.  All the Whites, including the predominantly White media will cast their secret ballots for the White candidate.
If hillary and slick willy get the nod I and my family will definately vote republican.Enough of the big business bought and paid for politicians. It is time for hillary and bill to put the cards on the table about the funding of this campaign.Who is paying for what favors come january. As for the voters in ohio they need to admit that their insistance on high paying jobs has priced them out of the market. You cannot pay $40.00 an hour to your employees to manufacture a product that is sold to folks making average $10.00 an hour.No matter what the miracles of financing.
THIS IS WHAT A PERSON WITH PERCEPTIVE COMMON SENSE SEES: I see one campaign within the democratic party, running a professional and dignified race. I see the other campaign doing anything and saying everything to win.

Clinton campaign is without morrality. How can people want someone leading our country, who is deceptive, doesn't stop at anything to get a result, rearranges truths, has no respect the vote of the people of america,  and will risk degrading a fellow democrat in order to get what SHE wants?

Hillary is not for the people. She is for herself. She basically says, all of these votes, that people have taken the time to register, doesn't mean anything, it's up to a handful of americans to decide who gets the nomination. WRONG! Then, why did we vote???

This is a model of how she will carry on business. SHE WILL ONLY RECOGNIZE, RESPECT, AND TAKE ACTION FOR THOSE WHO SHE DEEMS ARE IMPORTANT TO HER AND HER INTEREST. The usual protocol in Washington.

Hillary is not running to lead the people. She is not running for the people. She's running for herself and her glory. That's why she doesn't care what she says about Obama. When you have no scruples, your hands aren't tied on any mode of operation; just, whatever works.

I do not trust Hillary. I see that she is fairly underhanded, and manipulative. She is divisive. She ignores whatever isn't appealing to her own interests.

I don't think Obama is so great, but, he holds himself to more of a professional and dignified call to leadership. I believe he cares about what he says, and want just say anything. I believe that what comes out of his mouth, is not just a manipulative ploy. I believe that Obama transcends the usual protocol of politics. I believe that he has a connection and understands what the MAJORITY of voters want.
We knew you could do it, Hillary. You're not a quitter. Your opponent seems a little irritable today. With all that money he was spending like a drunken sailor, you still trumped him. I guess I'd be irritable in his place too.  Keep Going, Hillary !!!!!
The US desperately needs to reset its economic and foreign policy and sort out its values. We won't get that with McCain or Clinton. We will get a new direction with Obama. I back Barack
