Give me a break!  Ferraro cannot spin this.  Her motivation for raising the race issue in the first place was not to "compliment" Obama.  That is just a lie.  She was the one who was being divisive.  And when there's a response, somehow the Obama campaign is "playing the race card?"  These tactics are exactly the reason I will cease being a member of the Democratic party if HRC gets the nomination.

I am curious as to why Keith Oberman in his special comment last night was equating Ferraro's comments to those of Farahkan (reject and denounce) instead of to Power's "monster" comment. It seems that sexism is not as bad as racism in his view. There was no special comment when McCain did not immediately repudiate the supporter who called Hillary the B word. The subtlety of comments and actions against Hillary's sex are not so subtle if you look for them. I suppose tonight's special comment will be on Pat Buchanin for agreeing with Ferraro and on Chris Matthews for agreeing with Pat. Should be interesting!

I thought we moved on like two or three days ago?  After Ferraro quit, and it was all over, she just kept on rambling and screaming.  And I can't believe she's trying to blame -Obama- for bringing it up.  Correct me if I'm wrong, but -Ferraro- was the one that said Obama was only doing so well because he's black.  Obama didn't bring up his race.  Ferraro did.  She obviously just has some of her own personal issues she needs to deal with, her rants on television were downright disgusting.

She is right. Think about it, in SC obama used the race card for high black population. In MS, he used it again. He uses the race card as a shield.

Remember in the old Dick van Dyke show when the writers for the "Alan Brady Show" - Rob Petrie (Dick Van Dyke), Buddy Sorrell (Morey Amsterdam), and Sally Rogers (Rose Marie) - would meet with the excitable Alan Brady (Carl Reiner)?  Either Rob or Sally would almost always have some piece of food with them to put in Buddy's mouth to avoid him from saying something to Alan that would get the team in trouble.

I think it is time for the Hillary Clinton campaign to adopt the "Buddy Sorrell defense", starting with Geraldine Ferraro!

I see that Obama immediately responded to a challenge by McCain that he and Hillary release their earmarks by releasing his earmarks and making them public.   Hillary on the otherhand is refusing to do the same. I wonder if some of that money earmarked for NY State projects somehow ended up in those coffers paying for a portion of her Presdiential campaign.
