Obama... like Heinz Kerry's husbands?

Posted: Wednesday, April 02, 2008 4:45 PM by Domenico Montanaro

From NBC/NJ’s Matthew Berger
PITTSBURGH, Pa. -- Teresa Heinz Kerry joined Michelle Obama at a rally at Carnegie Mellon University today, saying she hoped the state would support Obama the way it had voted for both of her husbands.

“Pennsylvania voted for both of these good men,” she said, referring to the late John Heinz, a former Republican senator in the state, and Sen. John Kerry, the 2004 presidential candidate. “And this election, I hope Pennsylvania will join me in casting a ballot for another great and good man, Sen. Barack Obama.”

It was Heinz Kerry’s first event on Obama’s behalf; her husband endorsed him before the South Carolina primary. The rally was also Michelle Obama’s first campaign stop in Pennsylvania.

With Obama now leading in the national polls, Michelle Obama said she has seen how the bar for her husband has been consistently raised this year, and how he has met each of the challenges.

“The irony is that’s what’s going on for regular folks in this country,” she said. “The truth of the American experience today for many regular folks is that folks are trying to reach a bar that just keeps moving.”

But, Obama said she still believes her husband is the underdog in the race.

“We are gonna need Pennsylvania,” she said. “Because in this ever-shifting, moving bar, Barack Obama will always be the underdog. No matter how much money he raises, no matter how many wins he pulls together, no matter how many delegates he accumulates; he is still the underdog. It’s the way it works.”

Obama spoke to a group of about 600 people, a wide mix of students and community members. She was joined on the rope line after the event by Heinz Kerry, who earlier hosted her at a private luncheon.

I can't believe that after watching the niggers screw up Africa we want a racist nigger from the corrupt city of Chicago to screw up our country.
Barak Obama is a socialist and black bigot who hates his own country. Vote for him  if you feel guilty, and think the US needs to be punished.
Michelle Obama, another lawyer out of touch with mainstream middle class along with her husband. If you listen to her, she has/is espousing how she adheres to the crap spewed forth from the "Pastor". She will not be able to contain herself from letting it fly again. It amazes me that no one has picked up on what she said before the "Pastor" came to light and made the connection! They are husband and wife and you better believe they both hold the "Pastor's" beliefs in theirs.
Obama professes change, but just look at his political backers. How much change do you think is going to happen? He is going to be beholding to all of them and belive me they will call in their favors, just like the Godfather does when he grants a favor.
These two should co-star in a horror flick.

What kind of judgment does Obama have to trot out this political liability.....

Obama is not who he says he is.
Michelle Obama is a fraud just like Barack. Teresa Heinz Kerry is a rich nobody. God help our nation is BHO gets elected. If people think we have problems now, just wait and see the damage the Obama's cause.
Every church denomination has suffered through the actions of their priests and/or pastors.  From Catholics to the Evangelical sects, we all are aware of leaders whose actions were "well beyond the pale".
The attempt to hang an individual man's minister (or priest) as a millstone around a person's neck is wrong.  A church is a place of worship and God (not the priest or minister) is the central figure.  Hearing and watching his basic human kindnesses, Barack Obama practices his Christian beliefs. Judge not ... lest ye be judged ... a lesson my Pennsylvania grandmother taught me 60 years ago fits today's world well.
Talk about the Kiss of Death!...
All of those encouraging Kerry to vote with MA as a super delegate--I agree.  Likewise, all of the Texas super delegates need to vote for Obama, since he won Texas...  Or are you supporting another HRC double standard??
Speaking of Heinz Kerry...we need to soak it to the rich they say...except for her two sons who have a billion between them in Heinz stock stashed away in one of those rich kids trusts...and

in 2003 they only paid 7 million in income taxes with a billion in assets...an effective tax rate of less than 1/10 of 1%

soak the rich indeed
This is good news.  Kerry's endorsement will hurt Obama.  She's about as worthless as her husband (almost).  This will allow sniper-fire avoiding Clinton to win Pennsylvania and draw out the contest of worthless and weak (i.e. liberals) even longer.  What a sight.  This is too much fun to watch.
Remember when THK said that teaching wasn't a real job.  Why, why, why would they bring her out?  She's worth 100's of millions of dollars - she IS the top 1%.  What are you thinking?
Poor Teresa Heinz Kerry. Even with all her ex-husbands millions she found the press isn't interested in her unless there is a political campaign going on. Worse, if her last name wasn't Kerry they still wouldn't be interested.
Anyone, ANYONE but Hillary. She is the real beast, the great liar, the flip-flop artist, the deceptive one, the one that has legal issues to fill bags. What an absolute loser. There must be 25 other Democrats that deserve to be running for this office that are FAR more e3xperienced than her. Enjoy her LOSING.
The least qualified guy in the race is in the lead for the democrats.  Woot!   Good luck with all that.
Obama wants more government involvement in our lives. Considering how much the government screws things like that up, what the hell are some of you people thinking?

Read the book The Dreams of My Father by Obama. If you're white and you support Obama, it will scare you into doing otherwise - unless you believe that whitey is evil and must be punished.
all of you have been duped with the slight of hands of politics. thinking that Obama is the next savior of the United States of America. Why? because he comes out and says so, and you all nod you're heads and act like he must be telling the truth because he seems so nice. now don't get me wrong, the man is an incredible public speaker, one to go in the books with clinton, regan, and kennedy. but it's all candor my friends. to vote you don't only listen, because rhetoric is a politicians job, you also have to look at the voting record, and so far as i'm concerend obama isn't any different from any other politician, plain and simple. even in talking he's double spoke this election. and double speak isn't to be confused with the cliche phrase 'flip flopped'. no obama has stayed consistant in some of his views, but will contradict himself when it sounds good to the audience or moderator he's speaking too. i know, someone will say "prove this, prove these claims" and if you have an honest interest i will repost. but chances are you're either enamored or not at this point, and my post won't make the bit of difference. Obama will win in 2008 and then you'll all see what i mean by same old politics the same old way.
The future of our great nation is not in the hands of a couple of candidates running for president. If you believe all the BS they are spouting you are misguided. We should be more concerned with state senators and other members of the senate. They are the ones that change laws and manipulate the constitution.
I would bet that most voters don't even know who these people are!
I'm glad for a change that I no longer read calls for Hilary to quit the race.

Even Bill Maher an Obama supporter said he can't understand why the need for the call. She's not exactly in Huckabee's foot. She's won the dem's base states AND the all too important swing states of Ohio and Florida. She's as close to it as he is.

For those afraid that both will get blodied up before the nomination, well, this is politics - wait until they run against the Republicans. If anything, this is a good way of preparing Obama should he get the nomination. These are kid blows compared to what he'll get in November.

My preference is Hilary because of her expertise, wisdom, fortitude, resiliency and focus is truly what we need right now.

France voted for a Sarcozy who promised heaven and earth. Can't quite deliver. I'm afraid we can't afford another mistake.

Look at the polls for the "First Lady"...Michelle Obama at 5%!  Bill Clinton at 32%, Cindy McCain at 64.00%. What will Barack do with her?  This is like putting acid and acid together on a tour!
Bill and Hill are so sure that Obama will not win. I am sure they know the out come already. We all have to remember they are still playing the old way.It is her turn no matter what the people say.
Clinton desperation has sunk in.  Hillary's bold faced lies about her Bosnia "experience" will cost her dearly in Pennsylvania, a state with blue collar workers and vets who don't take kindly to people faking military experience.  They don't want another Toy Soldier in the White House.

Obama would not have mentioned Al Gore being a member of his cabinet unless Gore gave him prior approval.  That means the end is near, probably after North Carolina where she will be drubbed.

The Clintons have been outwitted, outsmarted, and outplayed by a rookie, and the end is near.  Obama will then overwhelm MCain with sheer numbers in the fall.
Bill and Hill are so sure that Obama will not win. I am sure they know the out come already. We all have to remember they are still playing the old way.It is her turn no matter what the people say.
Boy, Theresa Kerry's endorsement should really help Obama in the General Election -------------------not!
