McCain raises $15 million+ in March

Posted: Monday, April 07, 2008 4:23 PM by Mark Murray

From NBC's Kelly O'Donnell
Campaign sources say McCain raised more than $15 million dollars in March, calling it their best month and best quarter ever. Advisers say the campaign has more than $10 million dollars cash on hand and no debt.

The $15 million haul was first reported by the Atlantic's Marc Ambinder.

Wow.  Too bad Obama out-raised him by $25 million.  And too bad there are ten percent more registered Democrats than Republicans.

People assume this general election is going to be fought on a level playing field... it ain't.
If Obama had raised no more than that and slipped it in the news cycle the MSM would be all over him.  What is the deal, this man is not competing with any othe Republican for cash?  At least the dems have two people out there going after donars.  SAD  !!!
lol Obama raised 40 million and that wasnt even his best month..

OBAMA 2008 and 2012
Don't worry about the money John.

If Obama wins, the Hillary supporters will donate and vote for you.

If Hillary wins, the Obama folks will load it up for you.
Wow ... all that, huh? The only Republican in the race and he brought in less than Clinton and a little more than 1/3 of Obama. At least he has more on hand than Clinton.

It's no wonder he is mailing back general election contributions so that he can keep the idea of public financing open.
ooooh! 15 million! That's great John. Compare that to Hillary's 20 million and Obama's 40 million and you've got...wait, let me get my calculator here...you've got..a democrat in the white house. Here is all the fun stuff us democrats miss out on because we are too busy bashing the hell out of each other. Let's all come up for air, take a deep breath and have a good look and a good laugh at just how awful McCain's campaign is. Any dem who says they are voting for this unstable clown if there candidate is not chosen to oppose him is an absolute idiot and is not needed in the party anyway.
W'ere shaking in our boots!

Get Hillary out of his hair and watch what Obama can raise for this general election. McCain has not yet felt the wave of change coming via Obama but he is soon to find out. You have not seen nothing yet.
McCain and Obama may be better at managing money than the Clintons, who wastefully stuff Mark Penn's wallets. But $15 million is still not a big deal. McCain can easily be outspent on media expenses in one month with that amount, and he'll be a pauper when he is actually paired with his Democratic rival.
In Jan. Feb. and March combined (about $35 million in Jan., $55 million in Feb., and $40 million in March), Obama easily raised more than $100 million.
Two men with plenty of money and no debt.....

One woman and a campaign in debt and begging for money

What is wrong with this picture?
mccain will need all that and more to convince americans that the war is necessary and proceeding "normal" in socio-political development! sure it is if your point of reference is vietnam. oh by the way john we lost that war and it wasn't winnable no matter what we did. i know, i was there and saw the defeat and waste of american lives! i would have voted for you in 2000 but not now as you support the war, tax breaks for the rich, and no relief to the economy and mortage debacle.
Wow 15 million --- 25+ million less than Sen. Obama.  The Reps must be getting nervous because McCain is going to be outspent during the spring and summer of this year by 2 to 1.  He is going to be "Doled" as in what Bill Clinton did to Bob Dole in 1996.
I'm not sure how McCain plans to compete with either of the Democratic candidates - particularly Barack Obama.  $15 million is just a drop-in-the-bucket compared to $40 million+ per month.

Funny, how even McCain, who recently stated that he doesn't know much about economics, can manage a campaign and Clinton can't.
Wow, that's over 1/3 of what was contributed to the Obama campaign!
Please donate folks, McCain is running low on Iraqi babies so we need to start bobing Iran. Lots of Babies there to maim and kill.
Wow! Where are all the wealthy Republicans, and why aren't they supporting their candidate?

Maybe they all lost their jobs, and are donating what they have left to the Democrats.
impressive
