House votes on Colombia rules change

The House has begun voting on a rule change that will indefinitely delay consideration of the free trade agreement with Colombia.

The move, engineered by House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, has enraged the White House, the business lobby and House Republicans.

Oh - Oh. Does this mean that Bill, Penn and Wolfie will have to give the money back? Do you think Hillary will be willing to give up her half ($400,000)? Plus having another woman demonstrate toughness in an acceptable, mature manner could really upset Hillary. Hillary is going to have to do some apologizing (we all know that can't ever happen) to her personal business lobbyists. They invested a lot of money in her and Bill. Apparently the PA AFL-CIO President can't read or is getting a better deal from Hillary than his union. He can always say he was against the Colombian FTA and other ones just like Hillary. And if some money winds up in his bank account just like Hillary, he can just ignore that.

(what's hers is mine what's mine is hers). He was paid $800,000. It's good to see Pelosi standing up and asserting the power of the U.S. Congress, a power that used to be equal to that of the executive. Our founding fathers laid the foundation for these checks and balances in the U.S. Constitution.
