Good thing McCain will have folks around him who will be able to remember the polling numbers, and constantly remind him.

And in other news, McCain promises to finish the unfinished business of the Spanish-American War of 1898, and conquer Spain once and for all!

He's back because McCain needs someone to change his diapers.  Especially when he does long sitting interviews like the View.  He doesn't want to be embarrased again by leaving behind a wet stain on his chair.

Sorry, you are wrong.  Both Obama and Clinton lead McCain in that poll, but nice try.

I did not know the polls have Hillary leading Mccain.That must be the reason the slobbering Matthews asked axlerod  "why doesn't Obama knock Clintons head off in PA?"  This guy gets more deranged everyday---and sounds as if he is getting dangerous.

Condi Rice said today that the Columbian trade deal is the most important trade deal in recent history. THIS woman is a possible VP for McCain? She leads our foreign relations? What about CHINA? That trade deal was less important? We have sold our soul to China and Condi Rice calls the Columbian deal the most important? This is another example of typical Republican misdirection and willingness to hoodwink the American public. They have, and MCCAIN will continue this type of government. First, they try to deny a re-working of the deal. Then the Republican president refuses to negotiate (typical) with his own co-equal partners in government (congress, and finally trys to blame congress for failure. It is the Republican mentality, the Republican president, the Republican mis-direction of our trade policies, the Republican inabilty to negotiate with people and politicians who disagree with them that has led us into the state we are now in. CONDI RICE and MCCAIN or any combination with MCCAIN is a road to more Republican mismangement.

So, all you people think "age" is a real problem with the Senator!!  Well, I am of the opinion that age provides much wisdom.  I will take John over anyone in the race.  I like to bank on people who have "been there, done that".  In a few years, all of you will hopefully reach his age.  You won't feel the same about the issue as you do today.

These "polls" will change when the Democrats actually have a nominee to up against John McCain. He hasn't had to debate anything thus far and he will show a real weakness when debeating either Obama or Clinton. He also has 72 years of dirty laundry that isn't being aired right now due to the Democratic Primary. He doesn't have a good standing on his treatment of woman (this won't bode well to Clinton supporters) and he will NEVER be able to out-debate Obama. He can't hardly give a speech without a huge telepromter, let alone think on his feet! He won't have someone whipering the answers in his ear. John McCain won't be a problem in the fall.

Thank goodness we have someone running for President who
is old enough to know that history repeats itself. Our only hope is that Senator McCain will be honest with the world and explain that our economic problems and the War
are all because we like to drive our cars and have our stores stocked with goods. We spoiled Americans don't know what it is to do without, but we may have to learn.

Mccain is dangerous, to America and the world. I really don't care about his age, it's the fact that he isn't very smart, as far as his "experience", he has little to show for it, and anyone who has been in Washington as long as he has might as well have been living on the moon. He has been a consistant lacky to everything and anything bush wants. Now he is flip flopping on everything (too much mitt influence?) trying to appeal to everyone, when in fact he is nothing but more bush-a complete disaster.

I would think that the candidate who is most dangerous to America would be the one whose mentor thinks that God should damn America.  And that is...

People keep stating Obama's an empy suit. McBush  is supporting a war that is causing a deficit in the US & giving Iraq a surplus! Also says openly he doesn't understand the economy, & has sr. moments on his foreing policy experience.Now you tell me, who's the empty suit?

I guess it is now that the campaign can pay him, McInturff will come back.  I guess being the presumptive nominee has some rewards besides just being able to sit back and attack the other candidates still working for their nomination.
