Nooooo. At 8:55??

  No shocker. But HOW MUCH???
...as expected.

Don't crow too hard until the final margin is in.
Your broadcast is so sad...that is unless all your talk focusing on the Clintons money obsession is true.

If they're in that much trouble financially, what is the point of continuing this exercise exactly?  It's completely apparent that Obama's money is not about to dry up and the idea that the Clintons could catch him financially is ludicrous.  So why are we putting ourselves, the candidates and the party through this again?
I post this bit of food for thought although MSNBC never actually posts my comments (I must have irrational hope beyond all evidence in common with HRC!)
All the pundits (many of whom end up sounding pro-Hillary vs unbiased) like to bandy about this notion of "Why can't he (Obama) close the deal?  Especially with all his money, etc.".  Yet NOBODY bothers to put the same question in it's inverse.  Why can't Hillary close the deal?  She's by far the better known (after all she's been fully vetted right?), she's supposedly the most experienced, she was the "inevitable" nominee when this thing started.  So why doesn't SHE close the deal?  Perhaps it's because the Democrats are trying to choose between who they see as two equally good candidates (I disagree but that's beside the point).  These same Democrats WILL come together and support Obama when HRC finally realizes she is only going to win by essentially stealing this election AS LONG AS she fully supports him like she claimed she would in the last debate.  If she urges her supporters to stay Democratic in their voting and works to ensure our Democratic nominee (Obama) is in the White House (vs. setting herself up for a 2012 run) then we'll win.

To take a phrase from the Clinton memo....watch what (she) does not what she says.  We'll see the proof in the pudding of whether or not she's pure ambition for herself or pro-Democrat party when she is faced with supporting nominee Obama on the road to the White House.  Remember, she should have just as much is not more pressure than Obama to "close the deal" if she is such a superior candidate.
Congratulations Senator Clinton on a hard fought Victory.

Obama '08
How could it have been too early to call 20 mins ago (per your own postings) and now Hillary is the winner?  And the media is biased against her!  HA!
So now we have to endure two more weeks of Hillary dragging Obama through make-believe slime, all the while strengthening McCain's position in the GE, before her slash-and-burn, slow-motion trainwreck of a campaign finally skids to a stop in the red clay of North Carolina.
The question is: How can you call losing a thirty point advantage a victory? The media really wants Clinton to stay in this.
Hillary won all the big states.  If Obama is so great, why can't he win any of the big states??  Mccain will whip him in November if he gets the Nom.
Hey Chuck, it would be really great if you did a segment sometime on how news organizations project winners with less than 10% of the numbers in. I think it would be very informative. Looks like Fox News was the first to declare Clinton the winner. Then everyone else followed. Again I really think people would get a lot out of you explaining this process.
Ok, am I an idiot? How can a race be called when only 3% of the precincts have reported?
So she wins. But now the question becomes "Where's the money?" No cash means no hard-hitting negative ads in places like NC, Indiana and beyond. And the margin is bound to be closer than the Clinton people were hoping for.

http://www.political-buzz.com/
NICE.  But as an Indiana resident there is no use spending all that money in our state.  Can anyone tell me the last time we went BLUE?
pennsylvania sucks!!!!!!
Oh Barry O..... how did this happen?
My question is why do all the people come out to SEE Obama, but VOTE otherwise?
With 4% of the vote in? That is still too early to call, I'm sorry. NBC is jumping the gun, just like Fox did in 2000.
My question is what is the projected delegate count? It is sort of silly to project a "winner" with no idea of the delegate outcome.  So why this rush to "project" a "winner" ?

She's tough, you have to give it to her.
Congrats Hillary...let's keep it clean from now on.

Obama 08
Anything less than a 20% margin is a 'win' for Obama.  This state (like so many others) should've been totally in the bag.

Why can't Hillary ever win by any big margins??

Why can't SHE close the deal??
I can't wrap my brain around how they can call the race with only 1% in....
CNN said the young people didn't show up for Obama, is that true?

PA is worse than FL for screwing the country at election time.
Oops!

I just threw a shoe through my TV screen...

Terry McAuliffe's on.
You guys at MSNBC really have it wrong - you keep saying Clinton won Texas.  NO SHE DIDN'T!  Obama won Texas by the measure that counts the most - delegates.  Ditto Nevada.
The race goes on.  Good job to both Clinton and Obama.

I hope that the remaining debate, discussion, politicking can be more positive and tough about issues and we can leave out bitter, bosnia, wright, ayers and bill.

Obama 08!  I hope!

The exit polls show that the economy was the #1 issue in Pennsylvania. Do they really not know that Hillary lost jobs in New York and blamed it on the fact that the Democrats were not in the White House? Do they not know that Bill was lobbying for the Columbia trade deal? Unbelievable.
You go girl!!!!!!!
Obama has no clothes~~~~~
Ok, am I an idiot? How can a race be called when only 3% of the precincts have reported?
Joe Scarborough's whiny voice is driving me up the wall!
It doesn't matter if she wins or loses or how much she wins or loses by. She said she's finishing out all the contests and going to the convention to settle MI and FL with the credentials committee. I'm glad someone's taking responsibility bc we can't win without MI and FL.
When you see how hard Scarbourough and Buchanan are spinning for Clinton it makes it pretty easy to see who the Republicans want to run against.
Hillary did not win Texas.  Your commentators keep saying she did.  She did not.  You are misleading the public.  Texas is one of the large states, Barack won it.  Please give him the credit he deserves.

now that you've won PA, Please annouce tomorrow that you are going to take your "obliteration of Iran" mentality and join the GOP! Yourself and McSame seem intent on keeping this war mentality going, so regardless of the fact that our military is strained, our economy is in shambles, we still haven't taken out OSAMA BIN LADAN, lets just casually toss out this an idea of 'UMBRELLA OF PROTECTION' to unstable countries in the middle-east!  but the big topic of the post debate DOES OBAMA WEAR A FLAG PIN!

STOP THIS INSANITY!

STOP THE DRAMA, VOTE FOR OBAMA!
Dr. B.,
thank you, thank you.  My thoughts on this were not so elequoent, but the same none the less.  Why does he have to close the deal?  She has given this thing 100%, she has been nice, negative and 100 other things.  Yet HE IS LEADING.  If the win is at her back as her husband has suggested, and if people are concerned about Obama's electability, why IS HE LEADING?
no he can't. LOL
not even with millions of dollars.
he'll never win in november!
I still have a feeling that all of those switch-hitting republicans (since they don't have to vote for their own nominee anymore) are muddying the waters by switching parties to vote for Hillary so that she would win Pa. and keep this farce going. They have no intension of voting democratic in Nov.
But they would rather face her with all of her baggage than to face Obama. Our agent of change.
Joe keeps wanting to know why he can't get to blue collar workers first of all they are white low education and racist.   old senior citizens are from old school which is racists and both will not vote for barack  they are not going to have a black man as their president.
80% of the remaining delegates, have to wonder how that is possible? I repeat, Congratulations to Hillary on a hard fought victory.

Go Obama
Look, we all knew that when Hillary was the projected winner all of the pundits would start falling all over themselves saying how Hillary is still in this. We've seen this time and time again over the course of this primary season. One day the math is irreconcilable and there's no way Hillary can take this nomination. Then she wins one and whoa! Hold the phone, this thing is far from over! Come-on people, this thing has been over for a while now and you all know it. As I'm writing this, I'm listening to the great Chuck Todd bringing reality back into this. There is no way Hillary can take this nomination. Spinsylvannia or no Spinsylvannia , it's over. All of this drama is for Hillary's sake and for the media. Stop the drama, vote Obama!
Just turned off the coverage.  I'm too tired of hearing the BS spin the Clinton campaign is putting on this not unexpected 'victory'.  Yes, it was a victory for Clinton but when you were 26% ahead just 6 weeks ago and are just barely winning today, how much of a 'victory' can you really claim?  She has to win by a MINIMUM of 10% to really claim a difinitive victory and all of you people hoodwinked by her lies can't deny it.
no he can't. LOL
not even with millions of dollars.
he'll never win in november!
I agree with Dr. B.  Hearing Joe Scarborough talk about "why can't Obama win when he outspends her by 4-1?" makes me furious.  First of all, she doesn't need to spend as much because her name is Clinton and many democrats - at least until this election cycle - have very good memories of the Clintons.  He has closed huge gaps every time he goes into a state.  She was ahead by 20%. And now we're talking about the margin.

Secondly, does anyone really think she wouldn't have spent as much as Obama if she actually had it?  Of course she would have, but her campaign is in huge financial trouble.

Lastly, Texas was a wash - not a victory for either side.  She needs to be careful with how she plays this victory tonight and not be too smug.  She was supposed to win PA from the beginning.  She has simply done what was expected based on her typical demographics.  She didn't overcome anything in this primary.

I congratulate her  on her expected victory, but expect that we will still be calling Obama our nominee in August - and that's how it should be.
MSNBC when are you going to call Clinton on her constant changing of the rules for nomination? I hear your analist point out her B.S but you never call her campaign on it. No guts?
Penn., you just flunked the IQ test.
Its not about how much money you raise. Its about how effectively you use it.
Allison
They way they call it is with a small percentage of actual count combined with their exit polling.

The margin is looking great with 22% in!not net many delegates Clinton by only 6% !
She will not net many delegates from this one.

Gobama!
PEOPLE PLEASE WAKE-UP!!!!!!!!  THE REPUBLICAN PARTY IS SETTING THIS UP FOR A VICTORY IN NOV.  THE REPUBLICAN PARTY WANTS H.C TO WIN AT ALL COST, TO INCLUDE CHANGING PARTY LINE TO VOTE FOR H.C.  H.C COMES WITH SO MUCH BAGGAGE THE R.P. WILL EAT HER ALIVE!!!!!  THINK ABOUT IT!!!  R.P. DON'T HAVE TO FIGHT SOFT, THE PARTY KNOWS HOW TO PLAY OLD POLITICS, WHICH WILL BE VERY SUCCESSFUL BY NOV.

OBAMA CAMP WILL NOT EXPOSE THESE PROBLEM AREAS FOR THE SAKE OF THE PARTY.  NEVERTHELESS, IF YOU DON'T WAKE UP, THE R.P. WILL STEAL THE WHITE HOUSE IN NOV.
