TV ad vs. publicity stunt

From NBC's Chuck Todd and Mark Murray
North Carolina GOP chairwoman Linda Daves just said on MSNBC that the state party's TV ad -- linking Obama with Rev. Wright -- won't be airing until NEXT WEEK...

To us, this seems to be even more evidence that the ad is -- and has always been -- a publicity stunt to raise money.

The real dim bulbs in this election, whether the Republican or Democratic primaries, have been the writers/producers of cable news shows...MSNBC, FOX, CNN.  There is no story too hateful or petty, no quote too vacuous, no minor role player too insignificant to be headlined with a "breaking news" banner.
And the "echo chamber effect" is awful-it seems that all we see are quasi-journalists interviewing other quasi-jounalists.  Russert interviews Matthews, Matthews interviews Olberman, Olberman interviews Pat Buchanan or Rachel Maddow, Joe Scarborough interviews some Fox guy,  and then the circle goes around in reverse order.

Of COURSE there's no GOP ad, and McCain's letter is the most self-serving POS imagineable.  With the gullible and excitable media available for morning conference calls, and susceptible to any lie they are told, why bother to spend the money to do anything more than spin the media where you want them?

BTW, someone in the "press" should ask Hillary how much of the money she's raised post-PA can be used in the primaries, and how much is for the general election?
THE TURN OUT OF NEW VOTER FOR THE DEMOCRATS IS GREAT!
With that said:
WE WANT SOMETHING NEW AND NOT RUINED BY WASHINGTON

I really don`t know why the media insist that if HRC steals the nomination that Obama`s supportes will vote for her and that if Obmam WINS the nomination that HRC supportes will not vote for him .

Well if HRC some how steals this from Obama, the turn out of the democratic voters that the party are getting now will be far less for the gerenarl  election as 90% of the obama supporters will not even show up to vote, black or white. Thus we have another republican in the white house.

NONE OF US WANTS TO SEE THE Clintons BACK IN THE WHITE HOUSE. DON`T THEY GET IT YET!!

So you see while HRC thinks that she has Obama supporters for the general election she really doesn`t.
I for one will not be voting if HRC steals this by cheating and LYING.

So says a lot of the people I have conversed with and general everyday talk. These people Are not friends of mine nor do I see them on a daily basis.
These are people that I run into with my everyday chores such as going to stores, cleaners, parks with the kids & to fill my gas tank.
A lot of these people believe that she has already ruin the party chances this fall and I think that they are right,  HRC  has  every right to keep running but the way it`s looking now it is not good for the party.

NONE OF US WANTS TO SEE THE Clintons BACK IN THE WHITE HOUSE. DON`T THEY GET IT YET!!

GO OBAMA '08
Well thankfully hillary has proved one good point:

The republicans WILL run the Wright controversy over and over again, and Barack Obama has shown that he can whether the storm without losing any ground. He didn't win Pennsylvania, but he did gain ground, not lose any, while the whole thing was going on. I am not that worried quite frankly, it will probably stir up more votes for BO in the end.

BTW people, don't expect Hillary to condemn the ad. She doesn't have half the integrity of the RNC! HOW FREAKING SAD IS THAT!
Did any of you see Kith O's show last night, especially the segment featuring Rachael Maddow. They BOTH agreed that Hillary IS backing the republican attacks on Barack. C'mon Indiana & NC lets show the Clintons and the republicans who's BEST!

Thanks Keith for NOT being AFRAID TO SPEAK THE TRUTH!

Anybody have any idea what time Hillary & Bill are due in court on tomorrow.

Why don't we contact her headquaters to see if they can give an update!
John McCain is the new leader of the Republican Party. If he wanted -- really, sincerely wanted -- to put the kibosh on this ad, he could demand it. He doesn't -- he wants a front that can make him look good. He's as treacherous as Hillary.
This question as to the connection with Wright has been asked and answered already.  Obama said that he didn't directly hear all the statements.  Does he believe all of what Wright said?  No, he doesn't.  Why is this still an issue; I believe that those that dig it up are a little bit more racist than they think they are; these people can't let go of a controversy; can't critize Obama on the issues.
This is going to backfire on the Reublicans big time.  They are playing with fire here.  Also, I think they palyed this card way too early.  Now it will give people a lot of time to see contextual versions of the sermons of the sermons on YouTube.  I've watched em and Rev. Wright is being slandered by FOX in my opinion.  Especially the "Chicken-Roost" snipet was taken out of context.  Ironically, he was was quoting the Ambasador to Iraq and yet somehow it's stuck to him.

Keep it up Republicans, we see through the McSame high road, good cop bad cop scheme here.
