Skelton backs Clinton, cites rural support

Posted: Tuesday, April 29, 2008 4:04 PM by Domenico Montanaro

From NBC's Domenico Montanaro
Missouri congressman Ike Skelton endorsed Clinton, per the Clinton campaign.

"It is my intention as a delegate to the Democratic National Convention to vote for Senator Hillary Clinton because of her support in rural America, her commitment to National Security, and her dedication to our men and women in uniform," Skelton said in a statement released by the Clinton campaign.

This brings the superdelegate count to:
CLINTON 266
OBAMA 244

Since Pennsylvania, it's Obama 7, Clinton 4. (285 are uncommitted).

PLEDGED: Obama 1,490-1,334
OVERALL: Obama 1,734-1,600

I don't see how people can say that MSNBC is the "pro-Obama" network when you guys have been beating this dead horse for six weeks. Mr. Obama has denounced (and rejected, Billary supporters) his former pastor's comments over and over and MSNBC has kept beating him over the head with it. Judging from Mr. Obama's demeanor today, he obviously is tired of having to explain himself to you guys (which he shouldn't have to do; after all, Jeremiah Wright isn't running for President.) Get back to having some class. Get back to being "the place for politics;" not "the place where we exploit practically irrelevent controversies in order to keep the Democratic race alive in order to prop up our ratings." Leave that to the egos at CNN or the tools at Faux "News." You are better than that. Quit badgering Mr. Obama; we have an election coming up.
Obama will nevor be able to defeat McCain!!!!!!!!!!!!  He needs to drop out now- help the Dems win this election.  He will not drop out- this man is a raciest ust wait and see.  You think Rev wright was ranting just wait till Obama is told No- were gong with Hillart.  Get ready for the rant.
Who cares?  Obama is toast.  Wright finished him off handedly over the last 3 days.  He has been officially loaded into the DNC dump truck.
