*** Dumping Wright: A day ago, we asked if yesterday would be the day Jeremiah Wright would go away, at least in the context of the Obama-Clinton primary race. Well, not quite. Obama made sure the story would last one more day by holding a press conference in which he unequivocally denounced Wright. That denunciation -- just like his speech on race more than a month ago -- has received universal praise. It made him look strong, and it might have even helped him a bit if he wins the nomination (after all, denouncing him now is MUCH better than doing so in October). But the criticisms still to be leveled against Obama are twofold: 1) it was late and 2) he did this only after Wright personally attacked him; Obama didn't get angry over the OTHER things Wright said, but only when Wright made it personal. One thing still hanging in the air: will Wright respond; he did a sort-of response through a blind quote in the New York Post but considering how upset black church leaders seem to be with Wright, he may end up keeping quiet. Clearly, superdelegates were the most important audience yesterday. They may be relieved Obama finally showed an ability to deal with a baggage crisis head-on, but they still will want to know if Wright will continue to dog him. Obama's back was against the wall and he delievered. But like every other time, it feels a little late, the question is, was it TOO late.

VIDEO: NBC Political Director Chuck Todd discusses Obama's fallout with his former pastor.

*** The odd good news for Obama: The Wright Story Volume 2, which began on Thursday when PBS released excerpts of the reverend’s interview with Bill Moyers, has now lasted six days -- which, by the way, is the same amount of time between now and Tuesday’s elections in Indiana and North Carolina. And unlike right before the past contests in Ohio, Texas, and Pennsylvania, it is Clinton -- not Obama -- who seems to have all the momentum. The perception is that Obama is bleeding. But this COULD be a good thing for Obama, relatively speaking, of course. Clinton won the expectations game in those past three contests, primarily because it seemed like Obama had all the Mo’. But now that Mo’ is on Clinton’s side. What happens if Obama is still able to defeat Clinton by double digits in North Carolina and essentially split the delegates in Indiana? Of course, the bigger question for his campaign might be: What if he doesn’t? And what if those exit poll cross-tabs in North Carolina and Indiana show white voters abandoning Obama in greater numbers than in Ohio and Pennsylvania?

*** Hillary, working 9 to 5: Per NBC’s Ron Allen, Clinton begins her day today with an interesting "event." A typical Indiana resident -- Jason Allen Wilfing, who has worked at Deluxe Sheet Metal for 15 years -- will just happen to stop by the hotel where Clinton is staying, and she will join him on his typical commute to work. And what's more, they will have to stop for gas. (The tank just happens to be running dry while Clinton's along for the ride.) Clinton will then help Wilfing pump gas. And then he will complete the typical trip to work. Of course, we all wonder when was the last time Clinton drove a car? Or pumped gas? Or even, after that $109 million, had to worry about the cost of gas? Politicians do all kinds of things to attract votes, but this has the potential to be memorable. Indeed.

*** Pander alert: The Clinton gas event is yet another sign that Clinton is trying to harken back to the '90s and hammer home the "I feel your pain" aspect of the Clinton years that voters responded to so well back then. But the debate over the gas-tax holiday is an interesting one -- and it's a test of just how closely voters are following the campaign. Will voters respond simply on the pocketbook front and demand this gas tax holiday, despite all the downsides that many experts have outlined about the idea? It's the old "if it feels good, do it" (that Clinton and McCain have seen succeed for so long during times that pocketbook politics have dominated the debate) versus the intellectual argument Obama is trying to have (that usually is praised by, well, intellectuals but dismissed by rank-and-file voters who want their tax cut or gas prices cut). Clinton is trying to own this issue big time -- even running TV ads about it and constantly criticizing Obama for not supporting the gas-tax holiday.Obama's criticism of McCain's plan and Clinton's are accurate. The only problem is it leaves voters saying, "Ok, it's a gimmick; so what's your proposal? This feels like Clinton v. Tsongas '92. But the electorate acts as if its more informed than it was 16 years ago, and also could be a bit more distrustful of government handouts than in the past. Regardless, one could argue that the Clinton-Obama debate over this issue sums up their candidacies and potential presidencies. In this environment, which do voters prefer?

*** How low can you go; how high can you fly? Yesterday, we released some early numbers from the latest NBC/WSJ poll, which comes out tonight. The numbers? Only 21% approve of President Bush's job in handling the economy -- his lowest number ever as president on that question. Also, a whopping 81% believe the US is currently in a recession. Interested in the latest numbers in the Obama-Clinton race? Want to know how both stack up against McCain? Or curious about which party -- Democratic or Republican -- holds the advantage heading into November? And want to know which relationship is worse: Bush or Wright? Tune into Nightly News, or click onto MSNBC.com, at 6:30 pm ET.

*** One more plug: Obama will be on Meet the Press for the full hour this Sunday. Tim Russert will travel to Indianapolis to sit down with the Democratic front-runner for the live interview, taking place on the even of what could be the most significant primaries of the campaign season. Set your TiVOs now if for some reason you haven't yet clicked "season pass" for Meet the Press.

*** Closer to the magic number: Obama picked up another superdelegate just this morning, Rep. Bruce Braley (IA), who was a strong supporter of Edwards. Yesterday, Obama picked up two more superdelegates: Kentucky congressman Ben Chandler and Iowa DNC member Richard Machacek. Clinton also picked up one: Missouri Rep. Ike Skelton. Skelton cited Clinton’s “support in rural America” as a reason for backing her. Since the Pennsylvania primary, Obama has gotten eight superdelegates to Clinton’s four. Here’s where the counts stand: SUPERDELEGATES: Clinton 266-245; PLEDGED: Obama 1,490-1,334; OVERALL: Obama 1,735-1,600.

*** On the trail: Clinton spends her day in Indiana, stumping in South Bend, Portage, Lafayette, and Kokomo; McCain raises money in Florida and then holds another health-care event in Allentown, PA; and Obama, in Indiana, has events in Indianapolis and then holds a rally at Indiana University in Bloomington. Also, Bill Clinton has a whopping seven events in North Carolina, and Michelle Obama is in Indiana.

Countdown to North Carolina, Indiana: 6 days
Countdown to West Virginia: 13 days
Countdown to Kentucky and Oregon: 20 days
Countdown to Election Day 2008: 188 days
Countdown to Inauguration Day 2009: 265 days

Why is it that two months ago Senator Obama was refering to Rev. Wright as an Uncle that he could never part with and then when the association starts costing votes the Senator throws his "uncle" to the curb like yesterday's trash?
So Obama dumps his mentor of 20 yrs only yesterday. He praised him two days before. He sat in church and listened to some ugly, racist sermons but still stayed-for 20 yrs. Both his childrens Godfather is Reverend Wright. Now the Obamafreaks want us to forget all of this and talk about the real issues. Oh, REALLY? Welcome to American politics. This is all very legitimate to discuss. It goes to the very core of Obamas beliefs and character. The bottom line for the democratic party is-who is more electable? That person is Hillary Clinton.
Drip, drip, drip. Long, but steady process of supers coming to Obama. Hillary MUST realize now - she's not gonna win this - the best she can hope for, is to kill Obama chances in November by pushing her campaign all the way to Denver. I am sure that what she hopes will happen: McCain will win and she will be happy. This is a nature of this contest now: Enemy (McCain) of her enemy (Obama) is her friend. Forget about loyalty to Democratic party, she is loyal ONLY to her unlimited ego and self-interest.
Hillary feels our pain. Obama is our pain.
It is a little to late for Obama. I went to the same church for half of my life before I moved to another state and I still know what is going on in my old church. Even if I don't go to church for awhile I still know what is going on. Obama knew what kind of man his pastor was. It was only when Wright called him a typical politician, that Obama decided to set the record straight!!! They all are politician whether they like it or not!!! After his news conference, Obama is trying to put the blame on Clinton and McCain for Wright behavior!!! Is this the same man who  just threw his pastor under the bus for his rantings? Come on Obama, accept responsiblity. You should have done it long before you decided to run for the BIG OFFICE!!!! What about William Ayers and Renzo??? Are you going to wait again until your poll numbers drop before you address the issues of Ayers and Renzo??
You guys wrote..."Obama didn't get angry over the OTHER things Wright said"

Did you guys hear his speech? What did he omit? He went from word to word to word. I think you are over parsing here... if that's possible.

To borrow a line from Bubba"... give it a break.
I am surprised at this article.  If there is anything that Rev Wright is right about, it appears to me that he is right about Obama.  Obama is apparently capable of doing and saying whatever he thinks is necessary to get elected, including throwing his Grandmother and his pastor of 20+ years, under the bus.  Amazing to me is how Obama stood by his pastor when this story was first released, yet after seeing the polls, decides he needs to denounce him.

You people in the media need to wake up and stop drinking the Obama koolaid!
The Gas Tax Holiday Gimmick doesn't work in Indiana because Gov. O'Bannon did the same thing when prices started to rise and almost bankrupted the state.

The Democrats in Indiana know that they lost the State House because the Tax Holiday put the Government in the red and put a number of popular programs on hold.  Because the Indiana constitution does not allow the state to run a deficit, the money lost was not able to be recouped which made Gov. Kernan look like he couldn’t handle a budget when he ran against Mitch Daniels. (Of course by the looks of her campaign Hillary can’t handle a budget either).

Of course Mitch Daniels sold the Toll Road and tried to sell everything not nailed down to alleviate this huge tax loss.  I wonder why this has not been a story in the MSM or at least local news since it is déjà vu all over again and it's a state that is voting.

'...SUPERDELEGATES: Clinton 266-245;
PLEDGED: Obama 1,490-1,334;
OVERALL: Obama 1,735-1,600....'

Only 21 Superdelegates separate the two
Remember when Hillary had an OVERWHELMING KEAD ?

Party insiders know Hillary is a LOSER
Look at the scandals an lies she generated in this primary.... Norman Hsu, the Tuzla lies, $109 Million scam, Peter Paul, the S-Chip lies, the Macedonia lies, the Northern Ireland lies......

She's a PATHOLIGOCAL LIAR

Her first boss, retired general counsel and chief of staff of the House Judiciary Committee, Jerry Zeifman
FIRED HER !!
Her first boss refused a reccomendation
He called her a liar
He called her unethical

Think the Republicans will ignore these scandals ?
Guess again kiddies

Obam '08
Character matters
Integrity matters

Please, a full hour with Tim Russert serving up questions on a T-Ball style.

MSNBC did its best yesterday as Barack Obama apologists.  Very sad indeed.

Pastor Wright has legs, long legs and appearing on Sunday with Russert will just keep it going - great!

And mocking Clinton for pumping gas - did we hear anything about Obama playing basketball with a US Marine Corp shirt?  Just when did he serve in the Corp????
The Clintons, and her supporters always point out that Obama outspends her 2.3 to 1. Bill lies inflating the ratio to 5 to 1. They dismiss the fact that he has earned his financial support.

They never face the fact that he beats her in super delegate endorsements by about 10 to 1!
So dropping the gas tax (and paying for it) is pandering.  Dropping you pastor, however is strong.  Nice MSNBC.
Way too late!  The Rev said NOTHING new - it was only when the blood started to seep that Obama spoke. He is becoming the candidate that will do anything to get elected.
I get a touch of deja-vu considering Obama's personality and temperment. Granted he's idealistic and very inspiring, and I'm certain he's a really nice guy - maybe too nice. Too nice to fight back until forced to do so when it's too late. Can we have that again in the presidency? Does anybody else see another Jimmy Carter here? I can almost project another prolonged Iranian hostage crisis to occur if Obama were to win the presidency. He's given the appearance that he can be walked all over.
Too late to dump Wright, Mr. Obama. You 've admired him for most of your life and even lied about some of your involvements with him. I think we all know that the Wright rejection by you is only a political move. It is obvious that, for the most part, both of you see eye to eye. Those 20 or so years together weren't spent without having much in common. I think both of you are wolves in sheep's clothing.
The saddest thing of all is that there are so many STILL TALKING ABOUT THIS.
What strikes me as most curious about the whole Rev. Wright debacle is why are Senator Obama and Rev. Wright taking each other on in the national media?  It all seems rather like high school to me.

What does it say about Senator Obama's ability to negotiate and interact with world leaders, especially with our enemies, if he is unwilling or unable to interact and have a conversation with Rev. Wright and resolve whatever differences they are having without all the drama?

If Senator Obama is so outraged at Rev. Wright's remarks and has apparently severed his long-standing ties over them, what hope is there for his ability to be effective and engaged with folks who have said much more vitriolic and damaging things about our country as he has said he intends to do?
Listen up, If we are to believe the crap just put out by Obama preacher, well, they have some ocean front property to sell you here in AZ.
The whole was scripted...its a joke...Those two have this all work out and his preacher agree to play the fall guy.
Obama had to "Find" a way to make it "Look" like.

I hope the people of the U.S. are smarter then to fall for that crap.
Hillary's more than willing to steal others' ideas.  Besides McCain's tax holiday, half of her stump speech ideas came from Obama.
I'm a little sick of Clinton portraying herself as a regular gal...Ivy league schools, elite law firm, then First Lady in Arkansas and Washington, then Senator.  Then making millions upon millions with her husband.  One child who went to Stanford and now "works" for a hedge fund.

What does she know about my life?  Or yours?

She's a smart lady, I'll give her that.  But she's made a career of knowing how to pander.  She doesn't represent me at all.

So yeah, I appreciate your comment about her pumping gas...when has she last PAID FOR gas out of her pocket, when has she last put in $5 or $10 of gas in an empty tank because that's all the money she had? When has she tried to figure out whether to put the money in the gas tank or buy milk and eggs so the kids could eat at the grocery store?

None of them (the candidates) have done that recently, but of the three, Obama has done it THE MOST recently.  Clinton and McCain may have never done it.
RE: "One more plug".
Whose idea was it and when was it planned, to give Obama an hour of FREE national advertising two days before mjor primaries?  Either Clinton should get equal time or Obama should pay for his hour.
Its never too late ! What this shows is measured judgement not knee jerk reactions ! You see it clealy when he talks without a script and deliberate and thoughtful.
"2) he did this only after Wright personally attacked him; Obama didn't get angry over the OTHER things Wright said, but only when Wright made it personal."
**************************

Wrong. Obama was clearly pissed about Wright's insistence that the government had something to do with AIDS, and equating our military to terrorists. Just because Obama tried to give him the benefit of the doubt when he first saw the YouTube clips doesn't mean that he wasn't angry about it. But eventually, you can only put up with so much. According to OTHER members of Obama's church, Wright has not been acting like himself lately, and has really shifted the focus of his message on purely non-religious themes (and extreme ones at that). I think his retirement, the Philly speech, media criticism and his massive ego have resulted in a Wright that is unfamiliar to a lot of people who knew him.

Obama did the right thing, and hopefully this can all be put behind us now.
As a black man, I'm disgusted by Barack Obama's behavior. The man is a hypocrite to deny his black experience from the man that was his pastor, friend, and mentor. How Obama can be so casual in denying all that the good reverend Wright has done is appalling to me.
It doesn't help Obama OR Hillary that McCain will have 1 term to define self in history.

IF THAT.
Bill has a whopping seven events today. His grab for Hillary's Presidency is obscene. His need to get back to the Whitehouse is compulsive obsessive. Ew!
I am sure the Russert interview will be the typical
hard-hitting interview MSNBC always does with Obama.
A month ago Obama said that white people didn't understand black churchs and that he had not seen the Wright Sermons before. Well he saw the same thing a month ago and did nothing about it. Now that he is in trouble he is flip flopping and throwing Wright away.

First Wright was Wright with Farrakhan.
Now Wright is wrong.
Which is it Obama? What ever gets your koolaid drinkers staying with you.

You would have to be incredibly naive at this point to believe anything Obama says.
To me, it seems as if Obama is damned if he does and damned if he does not.  Now everybody wants to know why did he do this now?  At first, everybody was vehemently saying, "He should do this."  "He needs to let the people know that Wright's feelings are not his own."  So, he does, and now what?  That's not good enough.  It is not about oh Obama feels personally attacked.  The problem is that despite Obama speaking from his heart in Philly in his speech, Wright implies that he was pandering for votes.  In fact, Obama stated that Wright has no respect for him, the campaign, or the American people.  Let's not forget that Obama is American, so he falls in all 3 categories.  At this point, the discussion is not whether this Wright issue is going to go away, because it is not due to the media's interest and willingness to give him a free platform-- to act as if he is speaking for the entire African American community.  The fact that some commentators are now wondering if what Obama did will erode his African American base baffles me.  We, African American's, are not stupid, and we don't need someone, especially someone like Wright (who is very narrow-minded in my view)to speak for us.  In fact, in agreement with Obama, the majority of African Americans I have spoken with about this issue are outraged, as well.  To me, if Obama is denied the nomination because of Wright, that will be almost as bad as what Wright claims "THE MAN" does to black people on a daily basis.
How stupid are you.  Why don't you talk about how great obamas judgement is.  After all it only took him 20 years to figure out this man was a like an uncle and his mentor to denounce only when it affected his judgement.  It is scary that you believe you can no someone for 20 years and you don't know how they think,  it usaully takes most people 5 minutes. You are so stupid for promoting this fake.
Which relationship is worse?

Obama and Wright (he has clearly denounced him, and the only invitation that he got or will get to the White House was from Bill Clinton)

McCain and Bush (a hug but Bush should be moving out of the White House, may not even visit)

Clinton and B. Clinton (let's see, they're married, presumably Bill will be living in the White House, can Hillary control him, well not yet)

Enough said.
I wonder how long MSNBC and the rest of the media are going to flog the Rev. Wright story, while continuing to boost Sen. Clinton. MSNBC has regrettably become the new Fox News. I now know that it was silly and naive of me to have expected something better from MSNBC.
why was he chosen to speak at theses places when everyone knows what his message would be they are at fault to he was laying low and othere open the door for him why should obama suffer we know what he is about if the media leave it alone its strange now before the big election comes out wright is back in the pictrureWHY?????????
start doing your job and post the f'n posts already
I was previously an OBama supporter but have decided not to vote for him based on his long standing relationship with Wright.  I honestly feel if Obama were President that he cannot represent all people fairly and clearly made some serious judgement errors on who he associates with.  We need a President who is a true patriot and will work for the advancement of ALL and not a pretender who seems to only care for the advancement of his own race.
I think that it wasn't only that Rev. Wright attacked Barack Obama personally, it was I think that when the specific damaging comments that came out intially, Obama may have thought in those instances the reverand may have gotten too carried away, and that he didnt really meant it in the way it came accross....because so many people are saying (including MSNBC Tamaryn Hall) that they never heard this language from him before.

But then the Rev. came out and instead of clarifying, which I think is what the campaign was propbably tinking he would do and maybe apoloize...he went overboard and the thing is when he attacked Barack Obama personally, it is relevant because his attack was to say that Barack Obama saying that he doesn't agree with him is not really true...so it is one and the same because his personal attack on Obama oes to the essence of the comments he made, and furthermore all that Obama  is trying to achieve.
Obama has dealt with the Wright issue in the best way he could. Now it is up to the press to be fair and balanced. It just seems that the press is never happy with Obama's answers. He is not above flaws, but in my opinion, he is clear-eyed, fair, ethical, and honest. He has denounced Wright not once, but many times. How many times does he have to kneel and say "mea culpa"? Lay off. You know the press is doing the Wright story for ratings. Obama is a superior candidate who doesn't rush to making any statements nor decisions. McCain is so superstitious that he probably wouldn't go after Obama on friday the 13th. Would any one want him with nukes????No, he is not McCool,he is Mcwar and Mcbomb
Initially, I did not think that the Reverend Wright issue was relevant in deciding who to vote for in this election. But, I have to say that the more Obama talks, the more I think it is a reflection on his judgment and motivations. Instead of rejecting and denouncing Rev. Wright's comments when they first came to light, Obama said, hey, he's from a different generation and this is just how they think, I may not agree but I'm not going to disown this guy. Now, when Rev. Wright has in essence reiterated what he said in those sermons during his media appearances in the past few days and, in the process, dissed Obama, now Obama is outraged. The question is what exactly is he outraged at?-- the content of what Rev. Wright said in those sermons or that Rev. Wright threw Obama under the bus? If it is the former, then he should have said that unequivocally the first time. If it is the latter, then he is just a politician like the others.
You know I am really sick and tired of all this stuff about Rev. Wright and his "personal" opinions about the state of this country....You want to know what I am really concerned about....I need to know that whoever is elected to lead this country that they will attempt do something about the rising cost of gasoline, that changes daily and my paycheck Cost of Living Allowance only increase once a year...I want these candiate to address the issues of constantly rising food cost, affordable medical care by chance I should lose my health coverage or my employment. Fixing this economy is my concern, I would like to be at ease when purchasing  a gallon of milk and a dozen of eggs without having second thoughts about paying nearly $5.00 for a gallon of milk. With all that said, the opinions of Rev. Wright is one my least concerns and should be the same with the American voters!!!!

I hope and pray that what Obama did was enough.  It would be very sad if we lost the opportunity to have this kind of leader in our country because some self-serving backstabber couldn't keep his mouth shut.  This country needs to focus on the important issues.  Not tabloid news.
MSNBC is so blatentley for Obama that even the other media is reporting about this. I can no longer tolerate to watch this anymore. Even when he is truley wrong on an issue, you manage to make it look Wright. Needless to say, Bill O'reilly who I used to dispise is absolutely right, You are pandering to Obama supporters for the ratings PERIOD!
Where was obama for 20 years when his pastor preached hate fill racial sermons about everyone but blacks? When Imus made his comments it took obama about 20 minutes  to say Imus must be fired.  He did not speak out against rev. wright until he insulted him.  Obama is a racism bigot.  We have had one cocaine using pres. do we need an another?
Hi Chuck,
I've been trying for days to get an answer to this question:

Was Michael Moore accurate when he stated in his column that Bill and Hillary Clinton had Reverend Jeremiah Wright to the White House during the Lewinsky scandal to help them "heal?"  And, if so, why isn't this piece of news receiving any attention?  If Wright is wrong for Obama, he's certainly wrong for the Clintons.

I think this is newsworthy if it's true.  Nobody will answer my question.  Will you please??
When Barack Obama gave his speech yesterday he reminded me of what American could see as a president.  Obama was loyal to his friend...distances himself from his pastors comments...but when the pastor left the pulpit and entered the political arena...Obama had no choice but to do what was right...I have got sense of who Obama is a man...I have grown to admire his loyalty and his honesty...I know it was probably difficult for Obama to distance himself from the person who brought him to Christ.  I am sure Rev. Wright has done great things for his community--I know he is respected for his intellect and his theological knowledge of Christianity.  Obama did not send Rev. Wright under the bus...because of what Wright had said four or five years ago...he did not even know about it either...I am Mexican American and was myself an organizer in my community...I often met older Chicano activist that were trying to improve thier community.  They had some ideas that I did not agree with...I always felt that eventhough I did not totally agreed with them (mainly because they had had a different experience than mine--I was a product of their struggle)I respected them because they created movements when there were none...Their experience was harder then mine--it was raw...I remember once disagreeing with a prominent Chicano activist...I did not agree with him...everyone around me...just looked down...I felt somewhat an easy afterwards...I understood that it was going to be very hard for me to change this man's point of view...he kind of reminded me of my father...from a different generation...I could relate to Barack Obama's sense of respect and loyalty to the man who brought him to his faith...But when Rev. Wright tried to define Obama...it gave Obama an opportunity to say what he said in the speech...I believe Obama had done the right thing... I hope he is able to accomplish his dream of becoming president of the United States of America...I believe the United States would benefit from his leadership...we need it now...we need a leader now...not just another politician...
Clinton/Obama '08 thats all I have to say, and I don't mind which is on the top of the ticket
Dear Fellow Americans,

Our Great-grand Nation, the United States of America
is and will face very critical "Challenges" in coming
years and decades.

The Problems will be tough and solutions would not
easy.

The key will the cool, calm, and collectedness of our
next President[ What I call Presidential Temperament'
The one remaining candidate who has consistently that
Presidential Temperament is Senator Obama.

His message of change makes sense. We have to stop
doing business in Washington old ways. The new ways of
lifting each other up and stopping tearing each other
down will not held our Great grand Nation. The
Terrorists around the world[real] and inadvertently
assisted by some shortsighted media [Who are party to
this perpetuation of psychological terrorism of
mis-information, dis-information, and duplicity], that
is what we do not need.

In order to send the message around the world that
America is get Senator Obama our next president. At
least on thing he has shown consistently is the
presidential Temperament. The Temperament of our next
president is very critical address internal and
internal challenges. Let us defeat real external
terrorists snd internal psychological terrorists once
for all.

God Bless out Great grand Nation, its diverse people,
and Senator Obama. He is the ans her to our future
stability, security, safety, and regain our status in
the world.

Yours truly,

It's the media that won't leave this alone.

Interesting.

The media seems to want another four or eight years of Haliburton's war for profit.

If it hadn't been for the media playing Howard Dean's yell over and over and deciding what we should think about it for us, the war would have been over three years ago.

Oh, but it's the "liberal" media. Yeah, right.
It is about time that the brightest and the best be allowed to lead this country and that there isn't any doubt the Obama is the best and the brightest. Now that Wright is under the bus  like the wicked wicth ofthe west let us move foward to the land of Oz in which Obama, unlike the wizard will prove that he has the leadership skills necessary to move this nation toward greatness again. Rev. Wright is the ultimate Judas- a betrayer of one of best of his own flock. I only hope that America sees him for what he is and not judge Obama by the selfish actions of sabatoge by the Rev. Judas Wright
I guess we have to go thru the process, but it will be Obama over McCain easy. 56 - 44  or higher.
