Hillary Clinton wants to know, "What's happened to Barack Obama?" A day out from the North Carolina and Indiana primaries, here's her latest attack on Obama/defense of her gas tax holiday proposal:

Here's the script for "What's Happened?"
ANNCR: What has happened to Barack Obama?
WOMAN: Right now we are living paycheck to paycheck.
ANNCR: He is attacking Hillary’s plan to give you a break on gas prices because he doesn’t have one.
MAN: The price of gas going up.
WOMAN: It’s hard to fill up the tank.
ANNCR: Hillary wants the oil companies to pay for the gas tax this summer – so you don’t have to. Barack Obama want you to keep paying: $8 billion in all. Hillary is the one who gets it.
MAN: Hillary Clinton is the candidate who is going fight for working people.
CLINTON: I am Hillary Clinton and I approved this message.

Google this name – Rev. William Procanick – Clinton’s former pastor.

Why only focus on Obama’s former pastor because he is black and this guy is white? Clinton’s former pastor is in jail, for action he did - not just words.

When the Rev. William Procanick put his hand on the Bible during his sex-abuse trial in Oneida County Court earlier this year, he swore to tell the whole truth and nothing but the truth.
But as the former Clinton pastor was sentenced to three years in prison for inappropriately touching a 7-year-old girl at his home last March, Judge Michael L. Dwyer said Procanick sacrificed his honesty the day he testified.
"As a minister of God, you got on the stand and you lied," Dwyer told Procanick, the 54-year-old former pastor of Resurrection Assembly of God church on Kirkland Avenue.
A jury found Procanick guilty Jan. 22 of first-degree sexual abuse and endangering the welfare of a child.

HRC is so silly. Today is May 5. Memorial Day is 21 days away. Has HRC even been to Washington and put her plan before Congress? Do we actually think it will get passed in 21 days? It took us months to get our rebate check and that was with a majority of people agreeing on the plan. She is playing everyone for a fool. After IN and NC, there will be something else.

PS. I was a HRC supporter until she starts talking like we as the American people have no common sense. It's a okay plan but don't act like it will happen it summer.

Facts:

- A gas holliday won't work. Obama has learned this from EXPERIENCE!

- No expert in the nation supports Hillary or McCain on this issue. If you hate Bush for not taking expert advice, why will you support Hillary and McCain for going against it?

- Hillary won't be able to get her bill through a Democratic controlled Congress, let alone through the White House.

- Even if she does pass the bill, the money WILL come out of the transportation fund until she could pass a windfalls profit tax bill that won't see the light of day this year. And she already promised to use that money elsewhere if she was elected.

- Even if she could pass the bill, there is nothing to stop the oil companies from raising the price of gas back to level before the tax was eliminated. So your extra $8.00 per month will go to the oil companies instead of taxes to repair roads and bridges.

- Lowering the price of gas will cause more gasoline usage which is counter-productive to ALL environmental and energy independence causes.

Am I missing anything about what's wrong with Hillary and McCain's plan?

Hillary, I am a working class citizen and your comment about washington not listening is correct. However, you are part of that washington tradition that does not listen to the workers. I believe it is condesending for you to insist that I should be glad with immediate relief of $30 dollars for the entire summer. First, the gas prices will continue to increase in order for the oil companies to counteract the loss in revenues from eliminating the gas tax. Actually, we will not be saving money, but spending more in gas than currently. Second, $30 saved from the gas tax is not enough to pay for groceries. If the gas prices rise in order to offset the loss of revenues from eliminating the gas tax, the cost of food will increase. Reason being that the farmers have to pay for the high gas prices so the food prices will rise in order for the farmers to break even. Third, congress will not pass the gas tax holiday prior to the fall general election. This is all pandering and insulting to me as a working class citizen. Throwing working class citizens crumbs is not solving the problem from rising gas. This has been a problem for over 20 years. When is the problem going to be fixed? I want real solutions not pandering.

I'd like to know what the hell happened to Hillary Clinton. I'm not a supporter for her, but doesn't she realize that there's a difference between fighting for the American People and fighting for her agenda? Gas tax is not the solution, although it may be a solution for her supporters. Her own husband didn't support the gas tax holiday previously, but there she is, doing what we all knew she would....saying and doing anything to get elected....screw the American people. I hope Indiana and North Carolina get smart, and vote for change, real change, not a temporary half ass fix that doesn't work for people in the long run.

If Clinton really wanted to help, she would lower the payroll tax to adjust for the increase in the cost of gasoline over the past year, when gas costs were at 2dollars a gallon. Duh!

But what's sad is that the Clintons' obviously believe they are dumb. That is what is really sad. Vote for me, I think you're so dumb that you can't see through my pandering to you and trying to buy your vote for $30, that's sad.

This is the best we can find in a candidate? I think not (hence why I'm supporting Obama). I really hope the SDs are paying attention. If the Dems think this kind of pandering is what we need to win in Nov., then they can win without my vote and my support and my participation in the Party. Think about that down ballot.

About 2 yrs ago I directed a phone calling center at a large public university where we conducted surveys. Altho' I've previously posted a similar comment, here we go again:

Currently, polls and/or telephone surveys have a lot of bias and too much variability to be highly reliable. Whether the "interviewer" is a robocall or a person, each introduces its own bias.

For elections, registered voters are typically called so if you have recently registered and/or haven't voted in the past, you won't get called. If you're an Independent or Republican and the sample is registered Democrats you won't get called. If you don't have a landline, you won't get called.

The sample sizes on all of these polls seems to be adequate but the variability makes them all suspect. If the samples are truly random then they SHOULD represent the total population but given the caveats above,they probably don't.

All of that said, it's mind boggling and socially irresponsible that MSNBC would call any poll "disasterous."

Katrina was disasterous. Over 4000 Americans and thousands and thousands of innocents killed in Iraq is a disaster. "Obliterating" another country is disasterous.

Get a grip, MSNBC. Polls are just data. Stop trying to sensationalize unreliable information.

Wow, she still is pushing this illusion of doing something. A gas break will save the average person somewhere in the range of 30 cents a day. If 30 cents is what is about to break our wallets then i must assure you that we are in a world of hurt.

Not only that, but she wants to divert the cost to the oil and refinery companies, who can just lower output and raise price to compensate for the increased taxes. Then we are stuck paying the tax plus being taxed for the increase of the tax.

Meanwhile we lack money to fund construction projects in 2009 and people go with out work. I don't agree with this coming from McCain's mouth and I no more agree with it coming from Clinton's.

If we decrease spending, increase taxation on imports, and implement a war tax we can cut our deficit, strengthen the dollar which oil is traded in, and lower oil prices.

The price of oil was artificial in the 90's, but it is driven by poor government financial policies this decade, poor policies on both sides.

Time for a new idea, but please, keep them coming.

Obama's plan, $1000.00 tax break to the middle class. Sounds like $1000.00 is more than the $30.00 one might save under ol' Hills plan.

Hillary's plan has been disproven by a slew of economists, she couldn't even name one economist that thought it was a good idea. And to those who say that Obama voted for one in Illinois.... he learned thru trial and error that this plan does not work. That's why he is entirely against it.
