Clinton went up with an ad earlier today, knocking Obama, asking, "What's happened to Barack Obama?" Obama's hitting back with one of his own, saying, "What does Hillary Clinton offer us? More of the same old negative politics. Her hometown newspaper says she's taking the low road."

Here's the script:
ANNCR: “A war that should never have been waged. An economy in turmoil. Record prices at the pump. America held hostage to foreign oil. And what does Hillary Clinton offer us? More of the same old negative politics. Her hometown newspaper says she's taking the low road -- her attacks do nothing but harm. The same old Washington politics won't fix our problems. We need honest answers... And a president we can trust.
OBAMA: “I'm Barack Obama and I approve this message.”

Higher taxes are not the answer to anything Obama.
I'm starting to hate Obama more and more. I can't stand him.
Pretty speeches don't a President make.
I would much rather have someone who tells the truth about what's going on than someone who under-estimates my intelligence by pandering to what they think i want to hear.  I've had 8 years of mis-information and cannot stomach anymore.
If you add the two new MD supers that announced today plus the 3 from Ill doesn't that make a net of 9 for Obama since this weekend?  What's that 50 to 20 since PA?  I'm guessing if Clinton had netted 50 to Obama's 20 MSNBC would be talking about momentum!
Time to take the high road. Time for Hillary to follow Obama to the high road.
White house looked black why is that??He is so desperate. I love it. The above it all politican yep thats different for sure. What a joke he is.He still doesnt get it from his high perch looking down on us below.Fire him now before to late.European people talk about the cult he has going. He will really help our country get back our glory. My names Hussien  now sit down have a drink of kool aid and we will all get along.omg help us please before to late. We are counting on you Ind. and NC
Magnequench?! Sid Blumenthal?  Can any Hillary supporter tell me how they defend these two issues?  I've been asking all week and NOT ONE Hillary supporter has even tried to answer my questions.
Compare the headlines for Obama's ads to the ones MSNBC writes for Clinton's ads.  Can't you at least pretend to be fair?
Hillary offers ideas, Obama offers criticism. Hillary is positive, Obama is negative. I know who I'm voting for tomorrow.
So what does Barack Obama offer us?

Nothing. Zero. Zip. He attacks Hillary and her health  care plan. He attacks her gas tax holiday.

Stop attacking and offer us something besides hope.
What is that?
Personally I think Obama should just do what most of the non-newsroom country is doing, and just ignore her.
"We need honest answers... And a president we can trust."

Who could ask for anything more.

I am tired of the politics of George Bush. People voted for him because they mistakenly thought he would restore respect for the presidency after the shame of Bill Clinton's escapades. The Democratic party and the country has suffered. I don't want to go down that road again. We need a fresh start.
*************SUPERDELEGATES*******************

We want Superdelegate updates!!
Obama has SIX to add on to your totals today.

Your pundits like to talk about how Clinton does better with the voters who choose 'last minute'.

Well, it's the 'last minute' of this election--and you're blowing off a major Obama storyline.
All well and good, but he should really do an ad that explains why her gas-tax relief plan is flat-out nonsense, in the simplest possible terms so that even the "I CAN HAZ A MONEY?" voter will understand.
Oh snap!!!...this is funny!!! Keywords: Someone we can trust!
It's called staying on message. If he'd done anything the next 4 days would be media covering Obama's sudden shift. His reaction to Clinton's campaign or mixing it up for the 4th million boxing analogy.

This is just long and the person carrying this is a senator with a considerable republican backing (at least in the press)
I'm Barack Obama, and I don't have a clue.
What interests me is the consistency of Obama's campaign ... a steady call to positive choices, to a better world achieved through calling on the better natures of Americans ... and then every time he is attacked, his campaign responds within literally minutes with an ad calling it like it is. It's a beautiful thing to watch for a cynical old politician. It's what Andrews said when he switched from Hillary to Obama. Just shelve your cynicism, not your skepticism for once and see what can happen. We know what happens with a third Bush term or a third Clinton term. Gridlock.

On the oil tax holiday, since we all know Bush won't sign a windfall profits tax on the oil companies, what is Hillary's position on having the holiday without paying for it? Has anyone asked her?
Clinton AGREED with McCain on staying in Iraq for 50 years!! This is the full transcript of the CBS 2005 interview:
http://www.cbsnews.com/htdocs/pdf/face_22005.pdf

Huffington post has this story too!

Create whatever conflict you like...its just business.  However, two more superdels (MD) to Obama...273 left to nominate...Obama gets about a third of those tomorrow.  Whatever the spin, its coming to an end.
What's negative about offering a gas tax holiday as a way to reduce the burden on the people? The negative is Obama saying he's against it and not offering any alternative. And no, increasing taxes is not a constructive alternative.
I'm glad Barack is finally hitting back at that b----.
I have never followed a Presidential primary before, I guess '08 is unique. I can't believe it can good for the party for one of the candidates to use her media attention to tear down the other Democrat, the one who most likely will be the party nominee. She has been negative from the beginning, which, I think, is why she is no longer the front runner.
I missed the part where Obama had an idea about fixing this prob.oh it was the negative ad was his idea. I get it.Well he picked up on Hillarys saying there is a problem thats a start. This reminds me of the little boy running from behind. Wait for me Wait for me . What a mess he would be pathetic.
what happened to Barrack Obama? we'll look who is whiner now ("they goad us" etc. but it was his judgement to keep pastor for 20 years, to be bitter); who is taking the low road ("phony" etc. ); who leads a movement based on his transparency, judgement and smarts (yet "i did not know him as well as I thought" AFTER 20 years - sure got a great price in that shady deal with that shady character on trial); great orator that cannot debate because he lost most of the debates; rising star got your ego, chill out you'll be president soon enough but earn your wings as VP for 4 years first under Hillary - and learn!
“I'm Barack Obama and I approve this message.”

So you are no different than any other politician Mr. Obama...nice to see you gotten down off your horse.
With Hillary coming up with fantastic stories about how she will steal the profits of the oil companies (and bankrupt some unions along the way while doing it) one has to wonder if Hillary has totally lost her mind altogether.

Next thing you know, we will one of those great stories out of her mouth (like Bosnia).
Instead of attacking Clinton why doesn't Obama tell us what he has to offer.

All he does is go around telling us why Clinton's plans are bad.He never offers an alternative.
Even with all the negative publicity you MSM keep beating to death, Senator Obama will beat Hillary.

Why don't you report on this?
http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2008/05/05/clinton-in-2005-i-agree-w_n_100168.html

Cover the Peter Paul election fraud case against Clinton

Cover the Obliterate Iran being a crime according to the UN rules

Cover the fact that in a 2005 interview with CBS, Hillary agreed with John McCain to staying in Iraq LONG TERM.

Those are things the voters should be told about.
We need honest answers.........had we gotten them from Barack from the beginning reference his minister it could have been put behind us.  But the coward didn't know how to handle the situation and instead called white American's racists who took the statements out of context. Six weeks later, I guess we weren't racists afterall, his minister was.  So glad Mr. Harvard cleared that up for us typical ignorant white people.
I can't wait til Obama hits 2025 and I never have to hear from these annoying clintonites every again!
A true Ad if I ever saw one.

Why is it that even though Hillary was in the Whitehouse with Bill for 8 years (she claims it as experience) and as Senator for another 8 years, she has not fought the same fight she says she will fight now for the American people. Where after all her time in Washington as a politican is a Health Care Plan, a fix on the Social Security System, steps to improve the environment, elimination of special interest power-brokering, troops home from Iraq, fair trade deals, jobs for Americans, an improved educational system, etc, etc. When did she fight so hard for these issues and the changes needed? Not until she found herself behind in this Presdiential primary. And now all she can do is attack her opponent who is a breadth of fresh air from the same old politics. It is too little too late for you Hillary.

Obama is correct. Hillary is a very big part of the same old Washington promise everything - do nothing politics. She has had her time and has failed. Now she is desparate, lies and panders just like the typical Washington insider.

We say NO to Hillary Clinton. NO to the same old politics that every single Amercian citizen is sick and tired of. No to pandering. No to false promises. No to lies to get votes. No to winning at all costs. Hillary, you are not the chosen one you thought you were, and you do not have either the right nor the right stuff to be nominated. You may be a fighter but you have no heart, no empathy for people, unless needed to gain votes. We say NO to you!
It is just another example of HRC she just lies and panders.

I would like to know why this quote does not get any coverage, talk about elitist.
HRC from FOX interview...
"No, I'm not waffling. I'm saying I'm not going to impose additional burdens on middle- class families," she said. "Well, you know what? Rich people, God bless us. We deserve all the opportunities to make sure our country and our blessings continue to the next generation."
The Baltimore Sun reports that two more superdelegates have endorsed Barack Obama for President...

The chairman and vice-chairman of the Maryland Democratic Party are throwing their support behind Sen. Barack Obama on the eve of Tuesday's primaries in Indiana and North
Trust and Truth matter
HRC is a complete disaster

I live in NYC and she is becoming more and more hated by the minute
This is crazy.  Hillary will do anything - ANYTHING -to obliterate the Democratic party. Obama has remained honest. When we have dishonest politicians, such as Hillary or George W., we the foolish people get things like the Iraq War. Or, recession.

Fool me once shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me.

I don't buy it. Obama 08.
Hillary asked earlier in her con artist ad, "What's happened to barack Obama"?

Barack responds:

'My supporters have my back. They have made sure I'm well healed with lots of money. The truth is on my side. I will throw open a loaf of smack down on you, every time you go there. Your indigent, sorry excuse for a campaign cannot afford to match me blow for blow, or, ad for ad. Quite while I'm ahead'.
If my super delegate had voted any other way than our district I would have been campaigning hard against him (congessional election year - don't forget that folks), thankful he did the right thing and has pledged his super delegate vote like his congressinal district voted - that is what each super should do if they are fair and honest.  thank you John Tanner - you are fair and honest.
Hey FirstRead - why no mention of the two MD superdelegates Obama picked up today?  The Baltimore Sun reports that two more superdelegates have endorsed Barack Obama for President...

"The chairman and vice-chairman of the Maryland Democratic Party are throwing their support behind Sen. Barack Obama on the eve of Tuesday's primaries in Indiana and North Carolina, giving the Illinois senator at least two additional superdelegates."
THIS SHOULD MAKE YOU CLINTONITES PO'D

Our government responded with billions dollars on humanitarian efforts to other countries all the time, except for our own people such as Katrina. Did our government or president have to consult with our economists on those humanitarian responses when we are going out our way to help the people in crisis from other countries? No, because the president and government know that is the right thing to do.

Now our country is in a crisis from war, mortgage to gas. Our middle class families are suffering the most. Do those economists out there talking to people as Hillary is doing every day and every minute? Have they seen a father emptying his pocket of changes so he can get a gallon of gas to get home? $40 is only a bottle of wine for them. $40 is only half an hour of piano lesson for one of Obama daughter’s one piano lesson. But for many families, $40 could be a week of groceries.

Gas price hit the hardest are on the independent truckers. Have you seen the interview on CNN with a trucker name “Dan Little”? Many of them are losing or looking for a different job as they can’t effort the gas. If they drive 400 miles a day, at 8 miles a gallon for the big truck, it will be 400/8*0.18=$9 a day save for them. It will be $810 during 3 months in the summer so they can put food on their families’ tables or take their kids for a movie once a while during their summer vacations.

BO calls the Gas Tax Holiday is pandering. I am calling it compassion. We need a president who cares about people with compassion. Hillary is our people’s choice President! Obama will never have my vote.
I thought that Obama was above attack ads, could it be that he is just another politician?  I think so...
Negative, you call this negative?

Running an ad about Monica's blue dress stain and calling it a disaster just like Hillary's gas tax holiday - now that would be negative.
Those who are for Clinton need to wake up and see she don't care about you and no one else, but her family and there pocket. Wake up! Obama 08
Mrs. Clinton will say and do anything to get elected.  Gas relief that will raise gas prices later...save now pay more later!  Great plan Mrs. Clinton and Mr. McCain.  At least Barack tells the truth!
