RUT-RO!
Iowa futures market shows big rise in Obama, to 83% chance of winning nomination:

The reasons for the superdelegates to overturn the results of the elected delegates:

(1) The lead candidate is killed.
(2) The lead candidate is in a coma.
(3) The lead candidate is convicted of a felony.
you know when obama wins, people say it is blacks mking him to win. when hillary wins because of the white working class, not one talks about it!!! Why??? Stop it!!!

Also let's realise that it is impossible for obama to be winning without white voters. so he wins because whites are supporting him. so why create enemity between obama and whites? No need.

When it comes to November, people will vote for a democrat whether Obama or Clinton.

Remember, the statistics observed during the fight between two democrats are not the same as between a dem and republic.
Colin Fergie,

Hillary had 50% of the African American vote until the Clintons offended us by poo pooing Obama's win in SC. Then they again showed their true colors when they started pushing racist platitudes about how much more important 'white blue collar working class' voters were than other demographics in the electorate. (I count 3 offensive slurs in that one phrase)!

Your analysis is unfair, and unjust.
The pundits keep implying that African-American vote does not matter.  That Obama can't win without blue-collar white vote.  Clinton cannot win without the African-American vote.

Also, why do they correlate democratic primary with the general.  Voters are choosing between 2 democrats.  There will be a different game between Obama & McCain.
THE PEOPLE HAVE SPOKEN!
it's down to 4%. hrc 52 : 48 bo

go barack!
I am so excited.  Yea-a-a Obama!
Scary I was going to vote for her in the beginning until I learned what a low class person she was.
Take the High road vote Obama
this just in:  NC says no to CLINgONS!
If Obama's strong holds are the last to come in, then this is good news for him. With 72% of the returns being in so far, Hillary is only up by 4.

When you factor in Operation Chaos, then Hillary's assertion of Barack's inelectability should be flushed without ceremony along with whatever else is  when one leaves the privy!

Without the Limbaugh toady's mischief, Barack would have won Texas, Ohio, and Pa. too!
Clinton might have to concede tomorrow if Obama wins by 15 or more in NC and less than 4 in Indy.
Looks like a huge double digit NC win. So far 17 points!

I do love my candidate!
Ya baby she is going down. After tonight she will no longer be able to raise the money she needs to continue. Something I have been saying for weeks which has been under reported by the media. She may want to go to the convention but without the cash that will turn out to be impossible. She could dig into her own wallet but I think she will have a hard time convincing Bill to open the purse strings.
Can we clone Tom Brokaw? Listening to him makes me nostalgic for old style journalism.
Come on LAKE!   Come on LaPORTE!

   gOBAMA!
Sounds like North Carolina and Indiana BARACKED the vote! Woot! :)

Obama '08/'12
Oh Yeah, I love this - go Obama go.
Game, set and match.  Buh-bye, Mrs. C.  Thank you for playing.  For your parting gift, you get Bubba.
Ding, dong, the witch is dead!  How about Claire McCaskill for VP?
What Would Lincoln Do?  He'd vote Democratic.
New Wave,

I think the big deal is the percentage of blacks voting for Obama versus the percentage of whites.  Blacks vote at over 90% for Obama.  The white votes are in the 50%-60% range for one or the other.  That means the white vote is far less polarized than the black vote.  The other thing is that blacks account for somewhere between 12%-13% of the population (a small amount), where as white voters, especially blue collar voters account for significantly more than that.  That is why the white vote is made into a bigger deal (and the fact that they are more likely to switch party alliances than blacks).  That, and I'm sure the mainstream media is afraid to touch on the racial vote too much considering any little criticism or pointing out of facts is immediately decried and denounced as racist.  Meanwhile, I am having a hard time seeing how concrete facts, such as hard numbers, are exhibing racism in themselves.  They aren't.  They just demonstrate what happens.  It's just people choosing to spin the facts to their own purposes.

I'm tired of all the racial crap in this country!
Sen. Obama should be more specific going forward, especially on economic issues.
This is very important for the middle class voters.
He knows what he wants to do, but he has to express and explain those ideas and make them known to us.
The guy is good to go.
Hillary needed at least an 8 point win here to call it a win. Anything less and she loses her momentum. Fund raising opportunities just went in the tank.
I am so sick of the media suggesting that the only reason Senator Obama is doing well is because of the AA vote.  Sure, they are voting for him..why wouldn't they? They are hardly the only ones....He does considerably better than HRC with educated (media term used to describe those with a college degree) than she does...you don't hear much about that though...
Thanks Kevin, OR.  There is so much racial analysis crap in the media.

I am sure that either Clinton or Obama will trounce McCain in the GE.
While watching MSNBC's coverage of the Indiana primary, particularly the late arriving vote totals from the Gary/Chicago media area, why was this area often referred to as an "Obama area"? Why not simply say this area was composed largely of blacks, blacks who had supported Obama in Indiana earlier at a 92 % rate. So saying it is/was a black area would simply be true (I've lived there) and a bit more straightforward a description ?
