The responses to Edwards' endorsement

From NBC's Mark Murray
Clinton campaign chairman Terry McAuliffe issued this statement: "We respect John Edwards, but as the voters of West Virginia showed last night, this thing is far from over."

RNC chairman Mike Duncan chimed in with his own response: “Barack Obama and John Edwards share an out-of-touch agenda that would raise taxes on families while cutting funding for our troops. The only question is why didn’t Edwards endorse sooner? Edwards’ endorsement of a candidate he previously blasted as inexperienced, hypocritical, and lacking substance will not help Obama with voters looking for real change.”

The voters of West Virginia showed that they can't tell their rear end from a hot rock.
Terry McAuliffe must live on a different planet, I swear...
Sore Losers !
Ha ha
I just watched the major networks ...
I can say that David Axelrod is a brilliant strategist !
Thats how you run a campaign !

lol
I feel sorry for Billary.. I truly do .. NOT !
John Edwards has opened his speech tonight with what almost sounds like the golden parachute for Senator Clinton to exit the race...he thanked her for running and called the entire party better for her campaign.

I find the timing of the endorsement brilliant:

1. Senator Obama didn't need the help in North Carolina.
2. He was going to lose West Virginia anyway.
3. This takes all the steam out of Senator Clinton's victory last night.

As for the RNC, they have bigger problems than John Edwards' endorsement.
rnc is worse than dog food so why listen to them and terry mcaculff is the bagdad bob of clinton land
John Edwards stated during his interview that he will endorse the candidate that he voted for. He was already backing OBAMA. He doesn't need to do on your time. If he had endorsed Obama before NC, HRC would have said it was because of that endorsement that Obama won NC. You can't have it your way.
i'm curious as to why no one has pointed this out:

HRC is a smart and savvy politician. we all agree on that, right? okay...so wouldn't you expect someone of her experience in politics, civil rights issues to be more careful in choosing her words with the press? yes, i'm referencing the USA Today interview. a dead horse. but isn't it ironic that that interview happened while she was actively campaigning in WV...where a lot of people have a hard time rallying around an African-American as president? NOT MY words/opinion. Nora O'Donnell was all over that exit poll info last night.

So, slip of the tongue on HRC's part? Um, no. I'm betting she knew exactly what she was saying, who would be listening, how it would help her, and figured the casualties she'd endure with party supporters/friends were well worth a strong victory in WV. regardless of her policies being better than Obama's, her experience being wiser than McCain's...I can't vote for someone with substandard scruples.

maybe that's what Edwards couldn't stomach any more.

Yawn ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ

SO BORING TERRY
Sore losers...
Really, Mike Duncan...REALLY?  Then why are all your candidates losing in elections they should be winning?

Think people are tired of your rob the poor to feed the rich policies?

Yeah, I think so.
Honestly Todd, why do you keep posting these statements by the republican RNC chairman. It seems to me that their message is now predictable. WHy don't you just create a post for them on the first of every month and then refer us back to them everytime they make those statements?
Can you do that?
How can the GOP use the troops fighting and dying in a war that we were decieved into? What evedence do they have that this war was warrented? They use the troops play on our sympathies to the struggles that the men and women of our country face because of their failed leadership. They say that the Democrats are out of touch, but it is the GOP that are loosing their seats in the House and have lost their control of Congress in 2006, and are about the loose the Presidency as well. America is now realizing that it is the Republican leadership that is out of touch with Americans. It is due to the GOP that our Economy and Pride are "Dog Food."
Laughing out loud at the "bad dog food brand" of the GOP. The GOP knows how to bark in anger and jealousy, but not change the way America is. The GOP can only hope to to stop the political bleeding with its other "Contract with America" fearmongering tactics. The GOP is the most fear mongering political machin.
Now who's "bitter"?

YES WE CAN!
Congratulations to John Edwards for joining Chris Dodd and Bill Richardson on the list of the year's biggest winners.
Actually, it helps Obama get voters that don't care as much about change as his current pool of supporters do.  I'd say that's a benefit to the Obama campaign, not a hinderance.

Mike Duncan is a fool

As for the Clinton response......lol.
The Republicans are out of touch. Why have they lost three speacial elections in a row?
Whose out of touch?
Thank you John!! Thank you John!! Hillary, put your guns down now and come out with your hands up. You're completely surrounded. It's time for you to surrender
The Clinton campaign has become a caricature of itself.  Jon Stewart may have only been joking, but he may prove to be right:  we can expect to see Hillary campaigning 50 feet from Obama as he takes the oath of office next January.

It's over Mr. Mcauliffe.  The serial fondler and his corrupt wife will not be pardoning any more terrorists.  I hope you got paid up front.  Hillary's incompetent campaign is 20 million dollars in debt.

Obama in 2008.  Integrity matters and the Clintons have none.  Congratulations to Senator Obama on defeating the pandering, corrupt, race baiting, pathological liar, Hillary Clinton.
Your site is one for the ages.  Why are you so negative?  All you hillybillys need to go back to WV, if all she can attract are the hatfields and mccoys what does that say about her? I'm sure you'll never pst this, believe me there are plenty of people who feel this way.
