Hillary 'Livin' la Vida Loca'

Posted: Thursday, May 29, 2008 1:49 PM by Domenico Montanaro

From NBC's Domenico Montanaro
Clinton gets a Washington state superdelegate -- Eileen Macoll, the state party's vice chair.

Clinton also got the, um, coveted endorsement of Puerto Rican pop singer -- and former soap opera star -- Ricky Martin, five days ahead of the Puerto Rico primary.

"These elections will have historic repercussions both in the United States and the world," Martin said in a statement released by the Clinton campaign. "Senator Clinton has always been consistent in her commitment with the needs of the Latino community. Whether fighting for better education, universal health care and social well-being, as First Lady and Senator from New York -- representing millions of Latinos --she has always fought for what is most important for our families."

Clinton said she was "honored" by the endorsement. "In addition to his great talent, Ricky is committed to improving the world through his philanthropic work, and I am grateful for his support," Clinton said in a statement. "He is a very important voice in the Latino community and together we will work to improve the lives of families and children across the country."

Still waiting on New Kids On The Block and the rest of Menudo.

Martin is not a superdelegate. Today, Obama and Clinton have picked up one superdelegate each.

The NBC NEWS DELEGATE COUNTS:
PLEDGED: Obama 1,649 to 1,500
SUPERDELEGATES: Obama 320.5 to 284.5
EDWARDS PL.: Obama 12 to 0
TOTAL: Obama 1,981.5 to 1,784.5

CLINTON'S 10M DOLLAR LIE

Hillary Clinton came out the day after the PA primary with the triumphant assertion that her campaign had raised $10 million. This was a bald-faced lie, according to the Federal Election Commission which monotors contribution to candidates.
According to the FEC, Clinton took in $1,738,154.61 on April 23 and $2,578,730.28 on April 24.

It is hard to reconcile these figures with the confident claim I recall Terry McAuliffe spinning out the ten million figure all over the MSM on the day after the PA primary.

It is also hard to arrive at an accurate estimate of the actual indebtedness of the Clinton campaign.

But it cannot escape the attention of superdelegates that fiscal responsibility is a major qualification for a Presidential nominee. In such a contest, Obama would win over Clinton hands down.

"Martin is not a superdelegate".  Too funny!
What say the other members of Menudo?

http://thepajamapundit.com/
Well, if she plans to steal this election I will not be voting. Her actions are not democratic. It is unfair to not count the caucus states in her popular vote argument as well as discredit the uncommitted votes in MI. This is double speak and she does not care about disenfranchising voters. She only cares about her own votes and states she has won. That is not the definition of a democracy. I am infuirated with Hillary and her supporters. She is a hypocrite because her campaign manager Ickes created the rules for the primaries and voted to strip MI and FL of their delegates. This is overlook by her supporters. From the beginning, Hillary and her supporters have been trying to stop the democratic process by crowning her the presumptive nominee before any of our voices was heard. Her supporters did not have a problem with the superdelegates when over 200 endorsed Hillary prior to the primaries. Her supporters did not have a problem when Hillary agreed to the MI and Fl terms and her statement that the she would receive the nomination by feb. 5. This double talk of Hillary and her supporters are hypcritical. They have a sense of entitlement as though their voices are more important than the rest of us. Now their candidate is losing they are crying wolf. This is why we need to turn the page from people who believe they are entitled to something. Her supporters are mistaken that if Hillary steals this election people will just vote for her. You are wrong. I and others will not vote. I  hope her supporters are enough for her to win the election. You have successfully divided the party with your gutter tactics.
Ricky Martin????

Yeah, this primary is certainly over.

Considering am in Washington this may not be a good day for Macoll, suppose still believes in the old standard of woman power.  Clintons way is not the power of today.
He may not be a superdelegate, but he sure is super.
Hillary "Cling-on" is a farce, and so are the SD's who insist on endorsing her at this late date.  She has got to be the most dispised woman in the world at this point.

OBAMA, 2008!
Obama-nuts keep asking how Hillary is paying for her campaign. She's not. Obama is. All those contributions the Obama-nuts send in are going directly into Hillary's pocket. Of course, Hillary is supposed to quit and support Obama at some point. I hope Obama got all those details in writing.
YAWN......
Great talent??? lolol!
Ricky who? Who is he again?
RICKY MARTIN ?!?!?    LOL!!!!

Now if that doesn't persuade all of the SD's to move over to her side, nothing will.

Living La Vida Loca...I always wondered where Ricky got the name for that song title...Hillary inspires insanity no doubt. LOL
Damn it... first Elton and now Ricky Martin.

That's IT. I'm going to go dust off my Bruce Springsteen, Pink Floyd, and Dave Matthews albums and play them on repeat until next week when this is all over.
"Senator Clinton has always been consistent in her commitment with the needs of the Latino community"

***********

As a member of this community, I would like to say he is right...she has consisitantly done jack squat. Mr. Martin, pack up your millions and go home.
what do you mean Martin's not a super?!!! THAT'S LUDACRIS!! Make him one NOW! lol I think Livin' a Vida loca is an appropriate theme for HRC!
You hear that Obamabots?

Boo-yah!!!
The Clinton message to the RBC - Give me the world.
I still remember when good old Bill pardoned the Puerto Rican terrorists on his last day in office.
Why? Because he knew that one and a half million people in New York were Puerto Rican and she was going to run for Senate and President. Way to go Puerto Rico, support your terrorist friends. Don't you know that the Clinton's would sell Chelsea for a vote and never look back. I am ashamed of them and am glad that the country is seeing them as they really are. Too bad Puerto Rico does not. Too bad that Puerto Rico would vote against Obama because of the color of his skin. Let's call it what it is. Get out Hillary!   Go back to your home in New York that Terry McAuffie bought for you and enjoy the Lincoln bedroom antiques you stold from the White House.
RE: Ricky Martin:
"He is a very important voice in the Latino community and together we will work to improve the lives of families and children across the country." HRC

What now?  Is Hillary promising Ricky Martin Health and Human Services Secretary?  If she does make it all the way, I look forward to seeing all the hard work that Hillary and Ricky will be doing together.  Hmmm.....
Whether fighting for better education, universal health care and social well-being, as First Lady and Senator from New York -- representing millions of Latinos --she has always fought for what is most important for our families."
******************************************************

Like pardoning Latino terrorists Rick?

If I were Hillary, I would be crushed that my endorsements had sunk to such irrelevents as the likes of Martin, and Harvey Fienstien.

************************

It's laughable how Hillary only gets the off the wall super delegate endorsements from disgruntled femi-nazis, and that VI super running around like a chicken with his head cut off, back, and forth between Clinton, and Obama?
Ricky Martin endorsed Clinton.

Bruce Springsteen endorsed Obama.

Game, set, match, Obama!

Obama/Anyone but Hillary Clinton in 2008.  Integrity matters and the Clintons have none.  Hey Hillary, which pantssuit are you going to wear when opening arguments begin in the Peter Paul trial?
WOW.. was that article slanted and petty!
Dear Domenico, are you getting "bitter"?
WHAT IDIOT WOULD THINK THAT RICKY MARTIN IS A SUPERDELEGATE ANYWAYS.  RICK MARTIN IS A HAS BEEN.

I Have a dream
Obama blasts McCain
Hillary Blogs
Obamas resume
Want to know the difference between Clinton and Obama supporters
And Find out What has been bothering me

This and more on…

http://sensico.wordpress.com/

Yawn.  WHO CARES?!  Go away Hillary -- it's over!
Ricky's endorsement will certainly stress Obama's youth vote.  LOLOLOL!
There is some deep pocketed Richie Rich behind the scenes that will make a "business" deal with Hill and Bill to bail them out... that will keep their delusion going for a bit longer.
WAIT!!!! Ricky Martin???????
OMG  I just dropped Obama like a hot rock.
If Ricky Martin endorsed her I feel compelled to follow suit!!!!!!!
Just when I thought this campaign couldn't get any more useless.
Hillary????   please go home.   Thank You.
so whats your point?
'Shake your bon bon, shake your bon bon.'

"In addition to his great talent, Ricky is committed to improving the world through his philanthropic work, and I am grateful for his support," Clinton said

So, is she being sarcastic?  Great Talent?  Ricky Martin?  She must really be tired at this point.
Thanks for the laugh, Mr. Montanaro.  This made my day.  This could be seen as an anti-endorsement in some circles.
Donn Muncey,

You are a lying repub operative.

Go peddle your filth with your crawling on your bellies, repub, loser peers.
Yeah, and you won't believe the results from this presidential election poll. They just started a VP poll too.

http://www.votenic.com
I was looking at Hillary's victory speech in Florida.
This was the night she got trounced in SC and went to Florida for show.   Everyone was holding Hillary signs.  How would they have gotten there if you could not campaign there?  Did they carry all those signs on the victory plane?
living la vida loco, or more appropo senora es loco.

come on,...who could possible be endorsing her at this late stage?  WTF?

Yeah, Carson - to hell in a handcart.  Oh my gosh, Rachel Maddow is so dead on.  UGH!

What is wrong with this woman?  I will NEVER vote for her.  It is past time to exit stage left.

From an earlier attempt to post:

If you think there is no substance to Obama, you have clearly not been in a room with him and felt the MOVEMENT.  He inspires us to want more, be more and demand more from our government.  That is the only way to truly effect change.  Just because I support him doesn't mean I roll over for her.  He hasn't seriously competed against her in months.  He has taken a knee.  The extent of his campaigning has been to make sure he maintained his lead.  She whithered him with the elitist charge when he mis spoke but she mentions assasination and somehow the Obama camp isn't playing fair.  If the media or environment isn't going your way, take a look in the mirror.  you are reaping exactly what you've been sowing.  Your campaign is finished.  Only a true elitist would ignore reality and the writing on every wall (not just John King's - cnn).  Get out of town, we're done here!
I understand why he endorsed Hillary.  They have something in common:  both of their careers are washed up.
Get ready for a long hot summer Obama fans. You thought this was ending? It hasn't even started yet!
You stupid Obama people - I am not going to vote for that man just because of the idiots that support him.  You all think that Barak is the "second coming" if it wasnt for Bill & Hillary reviving the Democratic party there wouldnt be a place for the man with no new policies.  GO McCain!  Democrats for McCain unite!
Hillary is getting shafted and the lies about her are absolutely rediculous, Obama is getting a free ride and McCain will be the one to reap the benefits!Where is all this garbage coming from? Just on Seniority, intelligence and experience Hillary should be the nominee.....not a Bush clone or a novice!!!!After having the past two presidential elections stolen from us we thought this one would, at least, be partially honest, but alas, we are being disenfranchised again! Something really stinks about all this! Truth will eventually OUT however!!!
This just in...

Daily Kos has an article that Nancy Polsi said she would step in and NOT allow this to go to the convention for a floor fight... I sure hope that's true because this SOCIOPATH needs to take a long rest!

WHAT an embarassment to the fine thinking woman of this country - this coming from a 40 something educated woman who can't wait to see Obama as POTUS come January!

OBAMA ROCKS!
POOR, POOR, PITIFUL ME!

Poor, poor Hillary.

She doesn't even realize it yet, but she's already in
a no-win no-win no-win situation...

If she wins the nomination, and loses the general,
she'll be blamed.

If Barack wins the nomination, and loses the general,
she'll be blamed for damaging him too much during the
primary.

If Barack wins the nomination, and she bullies her way
onto the ticket as VP, and they lose, she'll be blamed
for dragging him down.

If McCain wins, she'll be blamed for weakening the Dem
party with her pitbull tactics.

So, no matter what happens, SHE LOSES!
as a republcan for Obama, it makes my day that Martin,Sean Penn, Barbara Streisand, and Dr Becker are still voting against me.  That is why I would have to change to Barr if Hillary was on the ticket.  There are a lot of us Republicans for Obama that detest the Clinton's so much that we could not pull the lever with her name on it.
Thats right obamites keep insulting everyone who knows better than to support your candidate.

Hey MSNBC why  won't you post any of my comments?
Just obamabiased I suppose.

Speaking of obama when are you going to post his AIDS/HIV status after his years of bisexual affairs wouldn't it be nice to know if he is infected?

What psychological dysfunctions might he go through from his cocaine use?

Come on ONBC, no not obama, I meant MSNBC, try and be even handed.  I know its difficult for you!
The hateful tone of Obama supporters has just lost him one vote.  If he's the nominee, I will be writing in Hillary Clinton on my ballot.  I could not possibly vote for anyone who inspires such hate in his followers.
This is almost as good as Dean Martin's endorsement,  oh thats right he is as dead as Hillary's campaign.
Ricky Martin...almost as old as Sir Elton John..

Isn't Ricky Martin on the NBC payroll?

Sing for your supper Ricky and say hello to Raul..
Payback for the Pardons of FALN.
A one hit wonder endorsing a one campaign wonder...how fitting.

Puerto Rico is a spanish speaking US terrority that does not vote in the general election.  Most Puerto Ricans I know don't consider themselves as Americans, but as Puerto Ricans.
Who is getting sick of all this?
(1) CLINTON is going to take the Florida / Michigan decision (on appeal) all the way to the convention.
(2) When she still looses by "ALL" mathmatical calculations, you will see her try to run for President as an "independent" with her 17+ million.
(3) CLINTON is not about "unity," but about Hillary! How can you people NOT see that?
(4) Obama needs to a. Squash the VP idea - never will happen and b. stop funding her campain because she is NOT about unifying the Democratic party. Don't hurt your donation base by expecting this from the Clintons.
(5) Super Delegates need to ALL come out and vote because if they can't see that Hillary is creating divide among the democratic party, then they should not be representing the people of this country.
(6) And to answer "Hillary's" question on who is the stronger candidate against McCain? One word answer - "Obama"
(7) The most important question is: Who will be the best president of the United States by bringing change to this country, getting us out of the gutter in all aspects (war, economy, healthcare, education, image, equality, hope), and be respected by the rest of the WORLD? Sorry folks, it is most certainly not Hillary Clinton.
