Hillary 'Livin' la Vida Loca'

Posted: Thursday, May 29, 2008 1:49 PM by Domenico Montanaro

From NBC's Domenico Montanaro
Clinton gets a Washington state superdelegate -- Eileen Macoll, the state party's vice chair.

Clinton also got the, um, coveted endorsement of Puerto Rican pop singer -- and former soap opera star -- Ricky Martin, five days ahead of the Puerto Rico primary.

"These elections will have historic repercussions both in the United States and the world," Martin said in a statement released by the Clinton campaign. "Senator Clinton has always been consistent in her commitment with the needs of the Latino community. Whether fighting for better education, universal health care and social well-being, as First Lady and Senator from New York -- representing millions of Latinos --she has always fought for what is most important for our families."

Clinton said she was "honored" by the endorsement. "In addition to his great talent, Ricky is committed to improving the world through his philanthropic work, and I am grateful for his support," Clinton said in a statement. "He is a very important voice in the Latino community and together we will work to improve the lives of families and children across the country."

Still waiting on New Kids On The Block and the rest of Menudo.

Martin is not a superdelegate. Today, Obama and Clinton have picked up one superdelegate each.

The NBC NEWS DELEGATE COUNTS:
PLEDGED: Obama 1,649 to 1,500
SUPERDELEGATES: Obama 320.5 to 284.5
EDWARDS PL.: Obama 12 to 0
TOTAL: Obama 1,981.5 to 1,784.5

Maybe now she can get Vanilla Ice, and Peter Frampton...
Hillary "Cling-on" is a farce, and so are the SD's who insist on endorsing her at this late date.  She has got to be the most dispised woman in the world at this point.

OBAMA, 2008!

So despised she has as great a number of people supporting her as obama does.  I do not despise her,  I despise ignorance.
as if the people who post on this represent the true sentiment of the country...you are all just a bunch of crazies with nothing better to do!
I just read CP's post.  First Read, is this accurate?  If not, what was the real amount versus the $10M claimed amount?
To suggest that Nancy Pelosi could put an end to this is laughable.  She's as bad as the rest of those Democratic weaklings.  She may have bought into the 'Obama is the Savior' talking point but she is powerless, as is everyone else, to make Hillary do anything.
There have been some bona fide idiots come to the
fore during this madness.   The biggest idiot is
that Debbie Wasserman-Schultz airhead.

Followed closely behind by that Kiki whatever...

This is better than American Idol!
Ricky Who?
The hateful tone of Obama supporters has just lost him one vote.  If he's the nominee, I will be writing in Hillary Clinton on my ballot.  I could not possibly vote for anyone who inspires such hate in his followers.

Exactly and as I have said before, candidates attract supporters that are a reflection of themselves.   Knowing and vile hateful and nasty they can be whats that say about the man they support.
Actually today the count is 1 to 1, yesterday Obama picked up 4.  Also why the miss on HRC and her latest lie?  In the talk about assassination everyone ignored HRC lie within the statement about Bill's 1992 campaign.  Let's look back....

Clinton Campaign, Surrogates, DNC April 1992: Screw the remaining states, the race is over

"It's mathematically impossible for Brown to get the nomination." -- Clinton spokesman George Stephanopoulos on Clinton's last foe (NYT, 4/8/92)

"It's time to close ranks. We cannot wait until July when we already know who has earned the right to be our nominee and who will be our nominee." -- West Virginia Sen. Jay Rockefeller (NYT, 4/11/92)

"I cannot imagine a set of circumstances that would keep Bill Clinton from having a majority of the delegates by the end of the primary season." -- Democratic Party Chairman Ronald H. Brown (NYT, 4/29/92)

"Mr. Brown added that he had long hoped for an early nominee 'so we can focus our time and attention on George Bush.'" -- NYT, 4/29/92

So when she spoke the other day pointing out that her husbands campaign ran into June it was a lie.  Maybe she should read her husbands book sometime.
Obama-nuts keep asking how Hillary is paying for her campaign. She's not. Obama is. All those contributions the Obama-nuts send in are going directly into Hillary's pocket. Of course, Hillary is supposed to quit and support Obama at some point. I hope Obama got all those details in writing.

Donn,
That's not true, Donn.  None of Obama's primary election donations can move to the Clinton camp.  Per FEC rules, Obama's primary and general election funds must be used for his primary and general campaigns.  If Hillary decides to quit, Obama can fundraise for her campaign to pay off her debts, but can not use funds that were donated to him for his primary and general elections.  Nice try!
