Obama on Patti Solis Doyle

Posted: Tuesday, June 17, 2008 6:09 PM by Mark Murray

From NBC/NJ's Athena Jones
Here's what Obama said about the ex-Clinton campaign manager who is now joining his campaign -- as the running mate's chief of staff:

"Patti Solis Doyle I think is a terrific experienced campaign hand. She's from Chicago. Her brother and I organized on the southeast side of Chicago when I first moved to Chicago as a community organizer, so I've known the family for a very long time. I think that she will bring not only a set of skills that we're gonna need as we put our ticket together but shes going to be a terrific adviser and offer insight and judgment that will help us."

I realize that at the beginning and throughout the campaign the Clinton's told all the politicos that if they weren't with them, they wouldn't work in Washington.  But don't you Clinton supporters think its a little much to ask Obama to follow up on that promise.  What next, you want him to ban all those who supported him instead of Hillary from having anything further to do with the campaign.  Really, its just too, too much to pretend offense that your opponent would hire someone your campaign fired.  Just way, way, way over the top.  It just leads me to thank God that the Dems saw Obama would be a better President, and less subject to a continuation of cronyism, that the Clintons.
Make me wonder if the reason she didn't do a good job on Hillary campaign was intentional. I'm Hispanic and placing Patti on Obama team is definitely, not going to make me vote for him.  Just make me wonder how loyal she was to Hillary
