Compiled by NBC/NJ’s Mike Memoli… Joe Lieberman (I) brings up Jeremiah Wright during an interview with ABC. “In fairness we don't know if Rev. Wright said these inflammatory, anti-American, racial comments every Sunday, but I would not continue to go to a synagogue where that kind of rhetoric was spoken,” Lieberman said, adding, “I think it did raise questions in people's minds about why did he stay in the church that long.”

VIDEO: CNBC's John Harwood and NBC's Andrea Mitchell discuss potential running mates for Barack Obama and John McCain with NBC's Brian Williams on "Meet the Press."

McCain refused to list names on his short list, and said a decision will likely come in August. He did say that Rob Portman is part of “the next generation of leaders in our Republican Party in America, and he has earned a significant place in the future of the Republican Party.”

According to someone at the donor meeting, one Clinton donor asked Obama directly whether he was going to add her to the ticket as his vice presidential nominee. Even Sen. Clinton looked uncomfortable, gesturing to Obama to move on, which he did.

CNBC's Larry Kudlow interviewed AK Gov. Sarah Palin (R). Asked about being John McCain’s VP, she said she’d “like the opportunity to get to change his mind about ANWR.” But beyond that: “I really enjoy my job here in Alaska as governor. I believe that there’s a lot that Alaska could be and should be doing to contribute to the rest of the U.S. And I think I can do that in my job here in Alaska. And I know that, again, the other potential VPs are saying the same thing that they like where they are today. So I also have to say though that it’s really probably out of the realm of possibility to be tapped for that position, so I don’t even have to worry about it.” She tells CNN she thinks it should be a governor on the ticket, but doesn’t think it’ll be her. But, she says she would like an opportunity to serve “on a national level.”

KS Gov. Kathleen Sebelius (D) said Obama can absolutely win Kansas, or at least “he can do substantially better than other Democratic candidates have done.” And deflecting VP talk, says: "I'll do whatever they want me to do, balancing my responsibilities in Kansas. I'm not unique in this. There are surrogates around the country doing the very same thing." The Denver Post profiles Sebelius and includes her VP answer. Sebelius attended a meeting of top Obama and Clinton donors in Denver.

MN Gov. Tim Pawlenty will keynote the Connecticut Republican Party’s Prescott Bush Dinner Friday night.

New Republic’s blog spots a report on Richardson’s visit to Egypt, in which he said “he appreciated Egyptian and other Arab concerns over the situation in Iraq and the fate of the Arab-Israeli struggle.”

Arnold Schwarzenegger’s spokesperson denied that he meant to criticize Crist on oil drilling. He said he disagrees with McCain and Crist because he “does not believe that we ought to look at new drilling offshore. … But on the specific issue on whether it’s going to lower gas prices immediately, he was not referring to them with that comment.”

Time looks at “Charlie Crist’s McCain problem.”

Analysts say LA Gov. Bobby Jindal’s support for a bill that critics say is “a back-door attempt to replay old battles about including biblical creationism or intelligent design” may hurt him in national politics.

USA Today profiles Caroline Kennedy's whose “bold political moves this year represent a significant departure for an author and philanthropist who has spent most of her life trying to duck the spotlight that has followed her since her tragically interrupted White House childhood.”

Ugh.  Here we go again...

Somebody check his papers.

http://thepajamapundit.com/
Lieberman is so gone after this election win or lose I think. Even he has to know that by now. Expect the full weight of the democratic party to be behind whoever runs against him next time he's up for reelection. That is if he isn't recalled first. Wait can Senators be recalled by the voters?
Does anyone really care what Joe Lieberman says... I mean seriously... all he looks like is an opportunist who really only cares about his own political future... oh yeah... he also looks like a Republican lackey... ahh... ummm... excuse me John... Iran did not train al-Qaida... ahhh... ummm...

Get a grip on reality Joe... you (and the rest of the McSame fans) are backing the wrong dog in the race...
Can someone please tell me what Deputy Dog Lieberman hopes to get as payment from McBush for his behavior?
Joe....even you can do better than that.  Its pretty sad when even the attack dogs dont have teeth.
When will Harry Reid get rid of this turn -coat bitter repuke?
Lieberman is a joke!  He is so pathetic that it is almost comical!
Joe Lieberman, why bring this up!!! you had you chance months ago!!! Why!!! this issue is long dead!! you should shut you mouth because if you mention rev wright they you shouldm mention McCains pastors that he sought there support!!!the crap they were preaching was worse. so why, are you trying to get attention like Mr. Nader!!! JOE YOU DON'T WANT OBAMA TO TAKE YOU TO THE COAT ROOM AGAIN, THIS TIME CLAIRE McCASKEL WILL NOT BE THERE TO SAVE YOU THIS TIME!!!

QUIT MESSING WITH OBAMA!!
When the Dems take more seats in Congress this fall I hope they kick Lieberman out of their caucus.
When I was 14, one Easter Sunday, my mother offered to pay a boy in the neighborhood to take me to the movies. She did it in front of me. I could not have been more humiliated.

Hillary's supporters should stop doing the same thing to her.
Yo Joe,

Wright won't get 'er done. Did'nt you get the Clinton memo?
Finally, the real Joe Liberman shows his teeth. He is a republican, plain and simple. I think if the voters of Conn. had it to do over again, he would have lost by a huge margin.

Take advantage of the new gun clarification, and send Liberman to Iraq to fight, along with his wife and kids - since he is so gung-ho about warmongering.

Mark your time carefully Sen. Liberman R- Conneticut, this is likely to be your last term. I personally hope that President Obama has nothing to do with you once he is elected.....not even answering your phone calls. Traitor!

:( rethuglicans are soooo nausiating.
I don't want to hear about Wright, because he and rest of America are paying $4+ dollars per gallon of gas.
Someone needs to remind Lie----berman AKA the Joker about the 30 or so dollars a barrel prior to the war and 140 a barrel now!

That's important, not Wright!  Oh yeah and the economy stupid!  How pathetic!
Things from Obam's pass are not going away no matter how hard he tries.  The American voters is not stupid or naive as Obama thinks we are.  Obama's choices will continue to haunt him, even if he were to throw them off the space shuttle in outer space.  Obama lacks in good judgement and experience, he is relying on the experiences of others, and the policies of other  Presidents.  To rely on the Carter administration is a bad idea, for it was a failure.
if that is the best they can come up with they are toast and they know it, the rethugnutz are just pathetic, they need to be reborn into true Americans .
Memo to BFF Lieberman:

"Jeremiah Wright" is a dead horse that's been beaten so much there's nothing left for either glue or dog food.

Try and keep up with us.
Lieberman is gay for McCain. He's got it bad. He saw his silvery hair in the dust cloud of an IED in Bagdad & that was it. There's no one else for Joe.
Like it or not, the Wright issue is not going to go away and judging from the way Obama's team is handling the Charlie Black issue they don't have any room to talk.

I think it's going to be interesting to see how the Obama fans react when Obama heads to the middle and starts sounding more and more like Clinton and, dare I say, a seasoned politician.

Yesterday Michelle Obama couldn't say enough wonderful things about Clinton.....and I thought it was Hillary and Bill that would say anything to get elected....
When I was 14, one Easter Sunday, my mother offered to pay a boy in the neighborhood to take me to the movies. She did it in front of me. I could not have been more humiliated.

Hillary's supporters should stop doing the same thing to her.
donna (Sent Friday, June 27, 2008 9:26 AM)

What are you talking about?  Clinton took Obama to meet with people that have already maxed out their contributions to her.  She is asking them to support him for the sake of the Party.....

Clinton is a great Democrat and is doing what she can to put a Democrat into the White House.
Not an easy task by any means, but I think lieberman is even a bigger phony than old "maverick" gasbag mccain!
Yeah "Traitor" Joe Lieberman bringing up Wright again because he doesn't have anything real to talk about in touting the repugnant ones.  Maybe he ought to talk about how great it is that we've got $140 a barrel oil now, thanks to the repugnant ones.

So funny to see "Bush Hugger" McCain's VP choices get whittled down as Barack Obama takes big leads in states where these goofballs reside.  No one is going to help out the grumpy confused old man win in November.

Go Obama 08/12!
Lieberman is a Nut!!!!!!!!

GA will turn blue!!!!!!!
Good one Joe L ..that medicine is working...those synap's are firing on all cylinders...
Lieberman is so pro-war because all he thinks about is Israel.  Last I checked, you were a US Senator, not a member of the Knisset!
Okay, please stop rehasing old, old news about Rev. Wright. This is very weak and if this is a indication of the kinds of trick or treats that will be blown out there, in the coming weeks, no wonder Obama is leading in the polls.
I'm afraid not many people take the jewish lobbies lapdog serious anymore...if the dems pick up enough senate seats they can stick LIEberman in a corner seat somewhere...
Try as you might, Joe, the Jeremiah Wright scare tactic is dead. Sen. Obama is no longer a member of the church, and he has not shown any wild and crazy tendancies as a result of his attendance, which is the point you are really trying to make.

The only person that is politically frightening to me, Joe, is you. You used to have some sense of right and wrong, but since you have been checking Sen. McCain's "bearings" you may need to have your own bearings reassessed.

The bottom line is that degenerates like Lieberman are going to keep bringing up this junk b/c they cannot win on the issues.  There isn't one issue that matters where the Republicans are in line w/ the American public -- not Iraq, the economy, health care, the environment, education, energy policy.

The Democrats (and Obama) are stronger on each w/ the American public and the McBush campaign knows it cannot win w/o talking about this other crap.  B/c of that, it won't stop.

Hopefully when the Dems have a 12-14 seat lead in the Senate they can expunge Lieberman from their caucus next year.  He stands little chance right now of being reelected in Connecticut as it is.  The bottom line, and he knows it, is that if he doesn't get a job in the McSame administration, his political days are numbered.
Dear Joe Lieberman,

John McCain called. He needs to know the difference between Sunni's and Shiites again. Please keep your phone with you in the future.

P.S. Are you interested in working Saturdays for the Senator McCain? He doesn't like to leave the grill on the weekends if at all possible.

:)
It's a shame no one talks on McCain pastor.  The one that claim Hitler was sent by god.  All of the Obama bashers overlooks that, talking about how he is a Fraud and so on.  It this is the best Obama bashers can come up with?
He can't be serious.  After the Hagee fiasco, where McCain actively sought the endorsment of a man who said Hitler was put on the earth to kill Jews so they would move to Israel, he has the nerve to criticize Obama for comments he preacher made.  Why didn't he criticize McCain for seeking the endorsement of an anti-semite.  Why didn't he criticize McCain for seeking the endorsement of a reverend who said that one the purposes of Christianity was to eliminate Muslims from this earth.  Why didn't he criticize McCain for accepting the endorsement of a man who said that hurricane Katrina was payback for a gay parade held in New Orleans.

Why didn't he do it.....because he'll pander and backstab anyone he has to in order to win.  A hypocrite and a liar...that will be his legacy.
McCain/Lieberman 2008

It's the ticket that'll put America to sleep.
Lieberman is traitor to this country !!!!!!!!!!
You noticed I didn't say a traitor to his country, his country is ISREAL !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Senator Lieberman, it's not your fault (old school Silk the Shocker, protege of Master P)

Rather, I blame Senator Clinton's staff person because that person obviously failed to send the memo that the Jeremiah Wright issue isn't going to swing votes over to you.

By the way, didn't you also see Mayor Bloomberg in Florida last week, the state you're obviously targeting with this rehashment, where Bloomberg told the Jewish community to NOT fall for the tricks that are being played regarding Senator Obama?  I can't blame the former Clinton staff person for that, I blame you for not paying attention.

But, have a good day.
