Veepstakes: Biden hits TODAY show

DEMOCRATS: Joe Biden once again played Obama surrogate on “Today.” He said McCain is “still not ready to be commander in chief.” He also said something yesterday conservatives are jumping on: "If John wants to know where the bad guys live, come back with me to Afghanistan," Biden said. "We know where they reside. And it’s not in Iraq."

The Daily News, among others, follows up on Friday’s New York Observer report that Hillary Clinton is seeking to roll over general election contributions to a 2012 account.  and

VIDEO: TODAY's Matt Lauer talks to Republican Lindsey Graham and Democrat Joe Biden about the presidential candidates' positions on the economy and foreign policy.

Bill O’Reilly is targeting Gov. Kathleen Sebelius (D-KS) over Dr. George Tiller, who the show says “was performing illegal late-term abortions and covering up instances of child rape.” Sebelius called him “a health care provider in Kansas” after initially saying she didn’t know anything about him. O’Reilly: “Tiller himself donated money to her campaign. She doesn't seem to be real upset about this guy operating a death mill, which is exactly what it is in her state, does she?”

REPUBLICANS: Gov. Tim Pawlenty (R-MN) has raised more than $500,000 for McCain as a bundler.

That's a LITTLE better. Gov. Mark Sanford (R-SC) said the national economy is getting “increasingly messy.”

Louisiana legislators are “stewing” over Gov. Bobby Jindal’s vetoes, saying they targeted urban areas of the state.

Um, did you actually read the O'Reilly transcript?  Sebelius said she didn't think anything about Tiller (i.e. one way or another), not that she didn't know anything about him like you say.  There's a big difference.

Obama/Biden '08
We're happy voters and we approve this message..
When it comes to straignt talking express.  Look to Joe Biden. He says it like it is, without sugar coating. My persnal guess is that Obama has made a decision, but it is too early to announce and he has the luxery to wait, to see if something unusual happens. It will be a winning combination.
I still look for McCain to pick Romney, which will hurt McCain with the evangelical right...and will not put Michigan in the McCain column.
Biden is the most visible and effective attack dog Obama has.  He's blunt, always on point and extremely bright.

If this man does not a post in an Obama cabinet I would be amazed.
Biden is correct when he says that the "bad guys" live in Afghanistan and that region.  How about we shift our focus back to that instead of Iraq where containment was working.  We went into Iraq with too few troops (of our own and allied) and too few supporting countries as well; coalition of the willing that wasn't there.

As for Bill O'Reilly, Mr. Angry didn't show (or list)enough of the clip.  Where was the evidence that was referenced by Jesse Watters?  Was it legally obtained and not forged or fudged at all?  How many contributors are there to the governor's campaign?  Is it realistic to expect her to know them all?  I think not.  When Sebelius was asked, she might have heard doctor first and thought medical doctor and thought nothing more of it.  When it was put in that confrontation and charged language, then people won't respond.  Mr. Angry needs to have better staff and some therapy.
Biden or Nun for Veep!  Yeah!!  And why isn't Clinton using every cent she gets on her '08 debts, while taking Obama's money? O'Reily just wants to hit a possible Obama VP. "Increasingly messy" is STILL  an understatement for the economy Bush said he was going to "grow".
This just in:  Gov Mark Sanford of SC (R-PlanetZenon) has recovered enough from his lightening stroke to mumble a few words.  Doctors are encouraged by his drool oozing out of his mouth.
"I hate it when I do that."
So do we, Senator, so do we.
Great VP Pick, though.  Dan Quayle graduate cum laude.
