Teasing the new NBC/WSJ poll

Posted: Wednesday, July 23, 2008 1:10 PM by Mark Murray

From NBC's Mark Murray
Here's one result from the new NBC News/Wall Street Journal poll that will be released tonight at 6:30 pm ET on Nightly News and MSNBC.com... With the news that Iraq's prime minister wants the US to set a timetable for withdrawal, 60% of registered voters believe it's a good idea for the US to set such a timetable, while 30% say it's a bad idea.

Bush and McCain have both said in the past that IF the soverign gov't of Iraq wanted us out....that we would have to withdraw.  Now Bush McCain policy; staying, continuing a war for war's sake equates to the only possible victory is insane.  Anyone that disagrees must certainly not have a loved one in harms way or you're so filled with hate for an intelligent, competent black man running for president you can't see reason.
I wonder what the great silent majority of Americans want.
By that I mean, the greater part of the population that never gets polled, and generally only shows how it feels once a year on election day.
Setting a "timeline" only lets the opposition forces know when they can start their own offensive with as little resistance as possible.
McCain is right, winning the war is more important than winning this election.
It's a shame Senator Obama feels our vets who died in combat, did so in vain.
Hans Greenburg, Cole NE (Sent Wednesday, July 23, 2008 1:26 PM)- Same group of 60% also believe UFOs are real, that Elvis is playing at the MGM tonight in Vegas, and a big old nuclear plant can be replaced with one windmill.

Well Hans:

You know what they say. The majority rules. So I Guess that means that UFOs are real, tha tElvis is playing at the MGM tonight in Vegas, that a nuclear plant can be replaced with a windmill and that Obama will be our next President. So be prepared Hans for the landing of UFOs, Elvis moonlighting you if you visit Vegas, windmills going up all over this country, and Obama taking the oath for President of the United States. All sounds good to me.
Andrea M needs to increase her estrogen it seems!!
