Armstrong: McCain, Obama can't hang

Posted: Wednesday, July 23, 2008 5:13 PM by Domenico Montanaro

From NBC's Michael McDonel
Lance Armstrong addressed the media with four past Surgeons General early this afternoon at the National Call to Action on Cancer Prevention and Survivorship at the National Press Club.

The press conference's purpose was to outline a national battle plan against cancer.

When asked which presidential candidate he would rather have as his workout buddy, Armstrong said there was an obvious choice, but that he tries to stay apolitical when it comes to the issue of cancer prevention and surviviorship and that he is confident both candidates would strongly support the cause.

Upon further consideration Armstrong replied, "Neither of them could hang."

Slow news day?
Dom....This story over MCCAIN/CBS Cover-up!!!! COME ON!
Good cause...But  Armstrong cheated and got away with it....kind of like old Keating Five Johnnie.  Obama would beat your butt in b-ball and he isn't a steroid boy.
This isn't news, but it's obviously Obama considering how many times a week he works out.  Does anyone know if McCain has an exercise regimen?  Jazzercise anyone?
Um, hang what?  Laundry? Ten?  Out with each other?  With you?  Themselves?

Sheesh.
AND THIS IS NEWS BECAUSE???????????????????
"Cutty say can't hang." -- Airplane!
Arrogant jerk.
Lance the doper and fraud is using again.
I'm guessing it's the one that hit the 30 foot jumper, not the one that can't raise his arms over his head.

But that's just speculation on my part.
... and Armstrong can't "HANG" with Sen. Obama in the "MORALS" department.

OBAMA/BIDEN, 2008!
And this is news why???
we know McCain can't...  in fact he's gone into hiding.

Huh? What?
Come on Lance. No answer on workout buddy? Even we Hillary Democrats for McCain will admit that one is a 72-year old geezer, the other plays basketball almost daily.

Why is this posted? Who the F cares about this guy?
Slow news day?  The fact that somepeople put stock in celebrity opinions instead of making their own is a sad commentary of the times.
Yeah, but only one won't remember by next week...
so it don't matter..
No doubt they (Obama & McCain)wouldn't be screwing Sheryl Crow and one of the Olsen twins..and whoever else Lance is pronging these days. But I dont think Lance could shoot hoops...
Lance Armstrong is a has been to think that McCain nor Obama "Can Hang" is a joke can Armstrong hang?
What does this mean? Great Story.
Actually Armstrong cheated on his wife that stood by him after a major trauma, just like McCain did.

So maybe these ego-maniac cheaters can hang together.

Lance Armstrong is a horrible role model, but the media pretends otherwise.
Obviously lacking the “nads” to pick a favorite.
First Read, with McCain telling a different story everyday is this all you can report?.
One small news item for man .... one miniscule irrelevant tidbit for mankind ...grows some kahunas boys ...take on Katy's censorship scandal
Michael McDonel does some great work.
McArmstrong nuff said!
Lance, you won your race with cancer and in the Olympics and as Americans we all supported you during your rough times, so don't give Obama or McCain a rough time, because if you were running for President of the United States, they would both beat you.
So stick to fundraising for cancer and riding your bike if you can't answer the question.  Lance, when it comes to politics, your way out of your league.
Wow with N. Korea signing the peace pact of southern Asia, and The earthquake in Japan, thi sis the news we get. Great Job MSNBC. You guys need another raise!
