Obama vists with Holder again

Posted: Tuesday, July 29, 2008 2:48 PM by Domenico Montanaro

From NBC/NJ's Mike Memoli
Obama again visted veep vetter Eric Holder's office. Reporters following the candidate spotted him walking into Holder's downtown DC office building this afternoon. Obama was at the office yesterday as well.

*** UPDATE *** Obama left Holder's office after two-and-a-half hours.

Do you suppose that if Obama came to my office that I might be on the short list for VP???  LOL
There is clearly a fine line between journalism and stalking. A very, very fine line.

I thought this level of pursuit of someone's every move was limited to the paparazii. Is that what our national media have become?
We'll know when he tells us -- let it be.

Obama 08
and this is news because????????????????????????

Do not insult our INTELLECT as you so often do.
Movie -- The Caine Mutiny

Throughout the movie there is considerable effort to give Captain Queeg the benefit of the doubt by some of his officers. While they may not like or respect him, there is real hesitation by many of them who do not want to believe he has some sort of mental illness. The viewer is not even sure.

It is not until the very end that we all realize that he indeed has mental problems. At least that is the conclusion that is reached after watching his behavior on the stand when he is put under pressure.

This is how I view John McCain. No, I do not believe he in any way has mental problems. What I do believe is he just isn’t the man we believed him to be. It is very sad to listen to him search for just the right words. What we hear an awful lot of is “I don’t remember” and an awful lot of lies and taking credit where credit is not due.  Just like Captain Queeg.

It’s kind of pathetic really. Yet unlike Captain Queeg, who in the end was all alone, Senator McCain has people everywhere - more than willing to hold him up.

And that is exactly what is happening. Unless I’m missing something. What exactly has he said in this campaign to convince anyone that he is ready to become Commander in Chief?
I believe Obama should choose Biden. Biden has alot of national security experience and he is an attacker. since Obama is passive, then he needs a vp who will confront the pandering, dishonesty and hypocritical actions of the republicans. Biden is the way to go.
I talked to some people today also, believe I did yesterday too, is this paticularly news worthy? at least you didn't throw kaines name out there again, but I bet you wanted to didn't you?
This is getting worse than the media trying to cover the Hillary and Barrack meeting after the primaries.Peek a boo we see you Mr Obama. Yet we will talk bad about you because our Repugnant bosses say so.
The middle aged white guy. I called this months ago, go to my blog and search it. If McCain picks Romney or a woman he's finished. http://twocanpete.blogspot.com
Chuck Todd for Veep!!!

This is an extraordinary year to which I feel that both candidates should pick Chuck Todd.  That is the only condition in which I will choose to vote this year.  Plus, it drives the speculation away--oh yeah, how was that meeting with a Pakistani Prime Minister ...
gotta tell you I'll be sick to my stomach if he picks Kaine.

If he does mark my words McCain picks Ridge...who will trounce Kaine in the debates, McCain will be able to frame the debate around security, dems lose PA and Ohio, and possible Michigan and Virginia (which is the reason Obama is picking Kaine in the first place) will go red because Ridge will trounce him in the debates and on security...

Obama picking Kaine gives McCain the cover to pick the VP he wanted to.

and the Republicans who were pushing this for the past day will smile like cheshire cats.
Give the guy some breathing space. He will annouce his veep in good time.
1- Hagel

4- Biden

Please announce today or tomorrow so The GOP and Joe S can SHUT UP
Wowy Wowza!

That is pretty A-MAY-ZING!

Obama meeting with the folks who work for him - cutting edge stuff!

In unrelated news:

In less than 7 days, John McCain has flip flopped on taxes, the 16 month time line, and affirmative action. What's a man gotta do to get some media SCRUTINY up in this joint?

*We interupt this McCain news to report that Barack Obama wears boxers, not briefs. Film at 11:00).

REPORT THE NEWS! PLEASE!
press is pressed up I know you'll need new's I'm his V.P. he could pick anybody without a crimnal background.

Evan Bayh will help.
is the entire MSm on Obama VP watch Today?...LOL
Come on guys...Obama leaving a cab...Obama going to the gym...Don't you imagine he is picking up some papers to read regarding one of the people on his short list.  He will tell us when he is ready.  Maybe before he goes on vacation.  He will want that decision off his plate so he can enjoy some time off.
This is way more than a coincidence. His pick must be no more than a week or two away.

Some ask why Obama’s lead in the polls is not greater then it is over McCain.

Consider:

Of the two candidates, who because of his race and racism in this country automatically loses  2 – 5 percentage points?

Of the two candidates, who is supposedly less well known then the other candidate?

Of the two candidates, who has had a shorter time to prepare for and begin a general election campaign?

Of the two candidates, who is still being incorrectly called a Muslim by 10% of the population?

Of the two candidates, who is supposed to be too young and inexperienced?

Of the two candidates, who speaks of change to people who although asking for change fear change as  it takes them out of their comfort zones?

Of the two candidates, who is not considered a War Hero?

Of the two candidates, who has had less experience in politics and the art of political maneuvering during a major campaign?

The answers – Obama.

Then should the question “why is Obama’s lead in the polls not greater then it is over McCain” really be “why is McCain not leading Obama in the polls”?  It seems that many including those in the media are asking the wrong question. When one candidate is not African American and suffers no prejudice because of his race; is more well known then his opponent; has had a longer period of time to prepare for and implement a general election campaign; is not incorrectly considered a Muslim by 10% of the population; is considered experienced; does not speak of taking people out of the comfort zones(change);  is considered a War Hero; and has more experience in politics and political maneuvering techniques during a campaign, then why is this candidate (McCain) not leading the newcomer (Obama) in the polls and by a large percentage spread?  That is the correct question.
Of course he did. It's down to the wire. Senator Obama will leave no stone unturned in finding us an awesome Veep.

A Veep we will love, as much as we love him.
Let's just make it Biden or Richardson

Biden is probably a better campaigner
Turn HIM loose on McCain and it might get interesting..

Would Obama let him attack ?

Obama/Biden '08
That's the ticket

Maybe John McCain could pick Ted Stevens as HIS VP
Kind of a consolation prize for being indicted

... or How about Sen. Larry Craig ?
McCain/Craig
Experience really counts, huh ?

Are you kidding me! I know there is more to report on than Obama visiting members of his veep team. It is clear that no one from the media is going to get anything out of the Obama campaign regarding his veep selection. Just let the man do his business.
Twice in two days? Maybe they decided on their choice yesterday, he called the person last night, but they declined the VP slot, now he's meeting with Holder again to discuss their second choice? Am I psychic?
OMG....leave this man alone! Next it'll be briefs or boxers? Try digging out McCain's hidden medical records, why don't you?
minor typo guy, Vists & visted

Yes we can!
He gets free coffee there.
I think we are really fortunate to have a candidate who is intelligent and seeking information dailey to
try and fix what is wrong with our country right now.
Sounds like to me we should be hearing about a veep choice pretty soon. I am hopeful it will be Biden.
But what I am really excited about is the possiblity
of having a president who is smart, thoughtful and really intrested in seeing we all have a say in our government again.  Maybe even realize that not everyone is rich.  Remember he said transparency in government.  WOW wouldnt that be something.
Obama/Biden 08
marty
Obama's getting close to a decision.  I am willing to believe that unless he needs some kind of boost; he'll announce his VP pick after the Olympics.  The only questions are who and when.
Prominent evangelical leaders are warning Sen. John McCain against picking former Massachusetts Gov. Mitt Romney as his running mate, saying their troops will abandon the Republican ticket on Election Day if that happens.

They say Mr. Romney lacks trust on issues such as outlawing abortion and opposing same-sex marriage and because he is a Mormon. Opposition is particularly powerful among those who supported former Arkansas Gov. Mike Huckabee in the Republican presidential primaries earlier this year.

I smell a veep coming
What time will be Obama be taking his bathroom break? Does he plan on talking with the attended in the bathroom during that break? If so, will that attended be considered on the short list for being the VP choice?
