The Clintons: Ouch!

Posted: Wednesday, August 13, 2008 9:20 AM by Mark Murray

Maureen Dowd skewers Bill and Hillary in her column today. "Obama also allowed Hillary supporters to insert an absurd statement into the platform suggesting that media sexism spurred her loss and that ‘demeaning portrayals of women ... dampen the dreams of our daughters.’ This, even though postmortems, including the new raft of campaign memos leaked by Clintonistas to The Atlantic — another move that undercuts Obama — finger Hillary’s horrendous management skills.”

“Besides the crashing egos and screeching factions working at cross purposes, Joshua Green writes in the magazine, Hillary’s ‘hesitancy and habit of avoiding hard choices ‘exacted a price that eventually sank her chances at the presidency.’ It would have been better to put this language in the platform: ‘A woman who wildly mismanages and bankrupts a quarter-of-a-billion-dollar campaign operation, and then blames sexism in society, will dampen the dreams of our daughters.’”

Figures.  Did you expect anything less from the Clinton Camp.  Your time is passed, the torch is moving on without you. It is ok.  America is ready for a leader without the name of Bush or Clinton.  Did you all know today that today as Americans we are all Georgians.  John McCain said this yesterday in PA.  Guess what John?  I am an American and Georgia is not our problem. John And George need to stick to the problems they have created for our country rather than sticking our nose elsewhere right now.

I see Maureen Dowd, while very glib and clever, as an equal opportunity basher.  While she used to be interesting to read for her political views, she has become the Jon Stewart of the NYT, which isn't a bad thing -- it's just that she doesn't belong in op-ed; she belongs in the entertainment section.
I have to once again reiterate to angry, anti Obama, Clinton supporters that it is rude to accuse those of us who support Obama of "drinking the Kool Aid".  I support him and consider myself an informed voter.  I am a single, middle class, white 37 year old female and have supported him since the beginning.  Had Hillary won I would have also supported her since I support the Democratic platform.  But keep in mind that as much support as she recieved... he recieved and this kind of behavior will not bode well for your candidate be it 2012 or further into the future.  Do not assume that Hillary will be the next nominee. If Obama wins and has two full terms.  The nominee will be his VP.  If Obama has one disastrous term then chances are the winner (irregardless of nominee) will be a Republican.  If McCain wins then who knows.  But don't assume she will be the nominee.  Time can do a lot of things and new faces could be on the horizon.  Also, don't forget that if things go sour there may be a whole lot of people who will take your behavior out on Senator Clinton.  Obama's supporters may just punish her for the behavior of a few zealots.  So don't count your chickens... personally I'm all for Jim Webb next time around.
MICHELLE O

YOU AR SPOT ON!

LET THE NUTTY CLINTIONITES VOTE FOR MCCAIN...THESE WERE THE SAME NUMBSKULLS WHO VOTED FOR BUSH...TWICE...

THEY ARE JUST SHEEPEOPLE THAT ARE EASILY FED WITH SOUND BITES AND NASTY EMAIL LIES.

THEY WILL FIT WELL IN THE MCCAIN WHITEHOUSE!!!!!!!
Do as you please BITTER OLD RURAL WHITE WOMAN WITH A GUN!!  We're not afraid of you.  In fact, I don't believe it's that many of you anyway.

If you wanted Obama to even consider putting Billary on the ticket, you all should have gotten together and paid off her debt.  BUT I guess y'all didn't put your money where your mouth is so you really don't support BILLARY like you think!! How can someone with 18 million so called passionate supporters still be 20 million in debt.  You mean you so-called loyal HILLARY supporters can't even donate a $1 to help your beloved candidate pay off her debt.  That's SHAMEFUL!!

Go ahead and vote for McCain, all 20 of you and be a part of the losing team.  WHO CARES because WE DON'T!!  You can be a part of the OBAMA victory train or go our back in your backyard and shoot cans off of a tree stump or sleep with your first cousin.  WE DON'T CARE ANYMORE!!

OBAMA 2008!!  THE WORLD IS READY FOR CHANGE!!!!!!!
