If he did his job as you claim, then he would challenge BOTH Democrats and Republicans. He doesn't challenge Obama, ever. He only excoriates McCain and praises Obama. Sorry, no candidate is 100% wrong as he claims McCain is and no candidate is 100% right as he claims Obama is. If he just once would take on the left, then he would give himself some credibility. But his show is a one-hour long hate-filled rant, it's not news.

When Obama voted for a compromise that would not seek retroactive criminal charges against the phone companies, as well as, shore up the law, and allow us to move forward, niether Keith, nor Rachel were singing Obama’s praises.

Hmmmmmmmmm, interesting. "Not the guy". If not then who is. And note thatBiden says not the "guy". So if Biden knows who it is and says he is not the "guy, it can't be Hillary. Well, to most people it can't be Hillary. On the other hand maybe Biden does not know who it is or he is playing it cool knowing it is him. Maybe the person Obama has chosen does not even know it yet.

Frankly, if it is not Biden or Hillary I will be disappointed. Bayh is too boring and Kaine is too unknown. Don't have time for the boring or the unknown. Richardson and the gal from Kansas I don't think so. Who else is left? Gore?

Obama, and Biden are both cerebral. I agree, but I think that that is a good thing. Barack is the Astair, and Biden is the Kelly. Both fabulous, but different. OK.

Remember, Obama promised us a Veep who would be ready to be President should anything happen to him. I believe he sincerely means to keep his promise to the American people not to saddle us with a Veep who would be a weak prospective POTUS, just for winning's sake.

Biden is what we need, in my opinion, but G-D knows best.

That's what the Democrats are all about, speeches, speeches, and more speeches. Has anyone ever been truly inspired by a speech? Even one of Obamas? I mean, to the point that they got off their butt and did something about it? Any personal stories out there?

A. My Mother heard JFK speak and was inspired to volunteer to help the needy. She got up every Sunday morning and walked 20 blocks through Brooklyn to help out in a homeless shelter. When asked why she did this every Sunday she would reply, Ask not what your country can do for you.
B. My uncle Ed heard the words of Martin Luther King and went from a very racist individual to a person who lost all his friends, disowned by half of his family and spent time in jail fighting for the civil rights movement.
c. I heard Obama speak at the Democratic convention and was inspired to get informed, educated and active. I have worked hard ever since then working and fighting for what I believe in on a local and national level. I now work for the Obama campaign in Seattle.
Now, what is that you do besides putting other people down and acting self righteous?

This is an interesting development that will keep the media busy changing their predictions. On a side note...Did I hear correctly that Rachel Maddow is getting her own show?!?!
