Obama's made up his mind

Posted: Thursday, August 21, 2008 3:55 PM by Domenico Montanaro

From NBC's Domenico Montanaro
Obama
answered "Yes" when a reporter from USA Today asked if he'd made up his mind on his VP choice. He didn't say who, and he demurred when asked if he'd told the individual.

"Uh, that's all I'm going to comment on," he said, according to audio on USA Today's Web site.

Earlier today, Obama campaigned with thought-to-be veep finalist Tim Kaine in Virginia. He also met with him beforehand.

Today, Joe Biden is back to silence.

And nary a mention in the news today of Evan Bayh.

*** UPDATE *** Later, while in Virginia, Obama said, "I did say that I've made the selection and that's all you're going to get."

i does get a little old with the who is the veep game. however, i suport Sen Obama 100% and look fwd to seeing him take the oath in DC in jan 2009.
Bo-rock (the chosen)has chosen. the vacillation is over finally. if it's not Hillary, call him toast. if he can't make his mind up, how is he going to deal with the Russians? gonna text em is stance after much review?
What a joke...MSNBC current headlines are about McCain's position in the Great Lakes but FAILS to headline McCain's "oops" statement of not knowing how many homes he owns.  Fair and biased...I think not.  Not to mention McCain's new position on re-instituting the draft.  If Obama had made these statements...How would CNBC present?  Ridiculous!
>> Obama has made up his mind <<

Good! Is he finally ready to order lunch then? Waffles, right?
Get ready for that "giant sucking sound" if he doesn't pick Hillary.

Watch the whirlpool & the election go down the drain.

Are you Obamanuts going to be happy then?
This is getting embarrassing!  Obama is making a mockery of choosing the next President of the United States! Dear God -- texting people to reveal his VP choice! He acts like we're in high school and he's the only one who knows who's going to be king and queen at the prom!

For those who are already worried about his fitness to be President -- this behavior won't help much.
Let's face it.  We won't know until he (Senator Obama) is ready to make his decision public.

But what a lot of time and wordage have been given to the pre-announcement speculation and hype!! Let's get back to substantive issues.
Nobody who supported Hillary in the primaries could seriously vote for McCain if they were voting on the issues instead of out of loyalty to her. Think about the impact of an all-Scalia Supreme Court on the future of America. Hold you nose and vote, if you have to, but VOTE OBAMA/BIDEN (or whoever the VP choice ends up being).

This has been an un-paid announcement from a former Hillery supporter.
I don't get those that would not vote for Obama if Hillary is not on the ticket. We have the opportunity to take back our country from Bush and the Republicans! They have done immense damage and McCain would only continue that. Let's think about the bigger picture here.
Obama said he has chosen someone that is ready to be president and that will help him straighten the economy.
It ain't Biden... The only VP choice for the economy is Hillary Clinton.

Will you Hillary people go away!!!Hillary has way too much baggage, she has way too much Bill and bills; AND she has way too much ego and narcissism to EVER be a team player.
How can you credibly say that Hillary knows the economy when she can't even manage the economy of her own campaign?!?
These are serious times. Americans are losing their jobs, houses and lives on a daily basis. We have gone through eight long years of this debacle. Hillary's blind ambition will cost us another four years of this intolerable situation.
Do you Clintonistas SERIOUSLY think you have a prayer in 2012 if Obama is not FULLY and UNCONDITIONALLY supported this November?
Either get on board for the good of the country, yourselves, your kids and grandkids; or STFU and get out of the way. If you really want Bush/McLame to win,  then volunteer yourself and your kids for his next oil war in Iran or Georgia.
I still think it will be Powell.....
I am hoping it is Hillary Clinton. If not, then maybe Wesley Clark.  If not either them, then from what it sounded like, it could be Bill Clinton or Joe Biden??? Well Biden is old like McCain but who know.  I am still waiting for the test message to come from my cell phone.
PLEASE LET NOT BE HILLARY,  AFTER WHAT SHE DID, FORGET IT.  AND WE CAN NOT TRUST FORMER, PRESIDENT CLINTON IN THE WHITE HOUSE.
Why are the Hillary voters still shouting her name.  She LOST, and get over it.  She brings to much baggage with her.  She could never win and would hurt the ticket.  President Clinton, is still very disliked by the Republican base.  If we as a nation want to move into the twenty-first century, let elect Senator Obama.
