Veepstakes: McCain's decided, too?

While Obama says he has made up his mind (and we’re just waiting for the announcement of his pick), the New York Times reports that McCain advisers saying that McCain has narrowed his pick to someone who opposes abortion rights. “Former Gov. Mitt Romney of Massachusetts and Gov. Tim Pawlenty of Minnesota are the top candidates as Mr. McCain and his advisers gather over the next several days at Mr. McCain’s cabin near Sedona, they said.”

Time reported last night that Romney may very well be the guy (although he’s a relatively recent convert in opposing abortion rights). “2 Republican sources say McCain has apparently settled on Romney as his pick, but no offer has been made.”

The AP lists where the potential veeps are -- or at least supposed to be -- today.

The New York Daily News editorial page pushes Hillary for Obama’s VP. (Think they just want something to cover?)

Dear Lily:

If it is Romney, however will the two candidates kiss and make up?  Hmmmmmm?
Guess that pro-choice balloon didn't float so well over the GOP.
Mitt Romney will get eaten alive if Joe Biden is the Democratic veep nominee.  I may go out and buy a huge television to watch that debate.

Romney, the flip flopping pandering freak mormon!  He's so plastic!  Just wait for all the flip flopping ads the DNC and Obama camp. will throw at this idiot!

Pawltry!  Won't help McCain except to make Minn. a bit more of a contest for Obama.  No one knows this guy outside of his state.

McCain, why don't you just pick Cheney, since its obviuos you are now running for Bush's 3rd term, having exposed your true neo-con pathetic colors.
I can't wait till the picks are finally over with so we can put an end to the constant Hillary drama.  One of the reasons so many Hillary supporters aren't decided yet is the constant need by the MSM to make up drama and keep talking about their favorite drama queen.

But of course the MSM won't let up. I'm willing to bet all we hear till the election is "Should he have picked Hillary?"
Glad he announced the 29th as the announcement date.  One drama queen was enough.

The Mittster draws a blank on McCain accomplishments

These Ads Kept Mitt Romney Out Of The Senate

If the NYTs says it's true, then it's a lie.
Romney's good, too. He's changed his positions so many times (just like McCain)just to get elected, that the DNC will have a hay day with the two of them.
How does ANYONE know where either of these two clowns stand? It changes from day to day with whoever their audience is! Watch the evangelicals cringe at the thought of a Mormon! Ha ha ha ha ha ha ha. Can't wait to hear O'Reilly's take on this as well as pill popping Limbaugh....hey, maybe that's why Limbaugh is supporting McCain....he has something in common with Cindy! They BOTH are closet pill poppers!
