Team Clinton fires back at McCain

Posted: Sunday, August 24, 2008 3:26 PM by Mark Murray

From NBC's Mark Murray
Clinton spokeswoman Kathleen Strand issued this statement regarding the McCain TV ad, which includes quotes from Hillary whacking Obama during the primary season.

"Hillary Clinton's support of Barack Obama is clear. She has said repeatedly that Barack Obama and she share a commitment to changing the direction of the country, getting us out of Iraq, and expanding access to health care. John McCain doesn't. It's interesting how those remarks didn't make it into his ad."

The differences between Hillary and Obama-Biden are small compared to Bush-McCain.

To all of Hillaryland, get on board.  We can't afford 4 more years of Bush-McCain.  If you can't do it for yourself do it for your grandchildren.

Hillary will be so effective getting healthcare legislation passed.
McCain cravings for democrats attention is juvenile. He doesnt remember Clinton supporters know his attitude towards women. Clinton/Obama contest is a sibling rivalry that will be resolved,

Here is a reminder.......

Thank you for your clearification Hillary.

We all know these comments were made during a very emotional contest, and many told you that your comments and tactics would be used against Mr. Obama.  They only nad to paste together some of your footage.  That is exactly what they did.
                       BUT...
We will have a united party when we leave the convention.  The Reps won't know what to do next if we can accomplish that.

I do have a question though... can someone tell me "specifically" what the Hillary supporters are talking about when they claim Mr. Obama treated her badly.  I never saw anything but respect.

On the other hand I watched McSlime laugh when his questioner called Hillary a *itch... Yet some of her supporters are going to Flock to him???

Please enlighten me, because I don't understand the logic.

when is mccain going to talk about the issues instead of putting these silly commercials out thats has nothing to do with the economic hardships, health care etc....republicans are like big kids...being POW doesnt qualify you to be commander and chief...what are your supporters thinking about
It's all resolved now. The Democrats have made it just so easy for us Hillary supporters to vote for McCain.
Mccain only uses what he wants to use. He is just a bitter old man. Obama, Biden and Hillary will work as a team for the issues that our country needs to work on. McBush can go and retire in one of his 8 houses. That is if he can remember where they are :). Obama/ Biden 08
John McCain has not given Americans any good reasons why we should vote for him. Frankly if he cannot say something worth listening to about himself, then I think it is time he flushes The bull he's peddling down the toilet where the rest of the sewage is. I am sick of McCain telling us what Obama is not. How about him telling us about himself, outside the fact he is a poor poor X-POW, and he owns eight houses. I want him to tell me how he feels my pain because health care is kicking my but. Oh but wait he can't because he knows nothing about that because he is biggest ELITIST in the USA. Give the negative Bull a rest. Tell us how you can save us from you.
Urban Mom, if you truly believed in Hillary's platform for America, you wouldn't vote for McCain. By doing that, you are undermining everything she has fought for.
Will we have a triad of passionate fighters for Obama/Biden with Barack, Joe, and Hillary? Sheer bliss is what comes to mind.
Hey Urban Mom- you clearly don't care about your kids if you're going to vote for McCain. In fact, you should be ashamed of yourself!  If your kids are boys, they'll be drafted; your girls won't have any control over their own reproductive choices.  And they'll all see that their mother would rather cut off her nose to spite her face than vote for the man, Barack Obama, who will lower her taxes, get her country out of war and provide health care for all its citizens!

You have both my pity and my disgust, and I just pray that your children  have better role models in their life than you are apparently able to be.
She needs to put out an Ad for Obama post haste.
I voted for Barack Obama in the Oklahoma Primary. I could have just as easily voted for Senator Clinton. Either would be an exponential improvement over the current occupants of the White House and their lackey, John McCain. For all of Senator Clinton's supporters who are upset, do not let your disappointment drive you to apathy for or opposition to Barack Obama. While you may not agree totally with him, you must admit he is much, much closer to Senator Clinton's viewpoints than John Cheney McBush. Senator Clinton and Barack Obama share a commitment to health care for all Americans, repairing - not privatizing- social security, redirecting the “War on Terror” to taking on Al-Qaeda in Afghanistan, and ending the mistake in Iraq responsibly. John McSame represents four more years of the most corrupt, ineffective, and dishonest administration since Richard Nixon. Bush and McCain love to invoke the name of Ronald Reagan as their hero. Too bad neither of them shares his vision or optimism. Go Democrats.
