Obama camp reaction to Palin's speech

From NBC's Mark Murray
“The speech that Gov. Palin gave was well delivered, but it was written by George Bush’s speechwriter and sounds exactly like the same divisive, partisan attacks we’ve heard from George Bush for the last eight years," said Obama spokesman Bill Burton. "If Gov. Palin and John McCain want to define ‘change’ as voting with George Bush 90% of the time, that’s their choice, but we don’t think the American people are ready to take a 10% chance on change."

Come on Bill Burton, grow some nads. Your response is pathetic. This was an outright attack on Obama, so punch back. I love Obama, but it's time to let this inexperienced, unvetted candidate have it with both barrels.  Woman or not, she's asking for it.  So give it to her.
Gov. Palin truly showed where she and the republican party stands in this election and her role in the race.  She had many excellent lines.  My favorite one was when she described how to tell apart a hockey Mom from a pit bull - lipstick.  I liked that line because that way you can tell which one is the bitch.
To all of you who have made note that how dare she say sarcastic comments about Obama being a community organizer...have you not been listening to what your candidate is saying??  He is mocking her for just being the mayor of a "small town" or merely being the governor of Alaska...I'm sorry, I didn't know that being a governor was a minor job.  At the beginning of the Conventions, I wasn't quite sure which candidate I was going to back but after the repeated banter and constant position changing of Obama, I know I will be backing John McCain/Sarah Palin this November.  I think it was summed up best last night in her excellent speech..."Some men use change to boost their careers and some men use their careers to boost change!"
Sung to the tune of "California Uber Alles" by the Dead Kennedy's:
"Now that it is two thousand and eight
Don't the curly fries just taste great
But you've really got to watch your weight
Gonna secede this Alaskan State!
Hockey mom, uber alles, hockey mom oh-oh"

Can our country get any more idiotic?
Mad as Hell......   Don't lecture the Dems.  Lecture the American voters for falling for this sort of nasty-minded bilge again.  It really is up to them.  Obama and Biden will hit back but not with this sneer.  If folks think that's fun and a sign of leadership (??), they'll have to vote for McCain/Palin.
All of this talk about her executive experience outshining Obama and Biden is ridiculous.  To put an analogy on this she is like a low level manager in a Fortune 10 company and just got promoted to the second spot behind the CEO with opportunity to become the CEO.  Does that sound like she has the type of experience needed to run a large company as a CEO???  I would rather take Obama and Biden any day of the week and 2 times on Sunday!!!
Is there anything she could of said you would have liked? I doubt it. If you think Obama or Mcain are going to mke any substantial changes in your everyday life keep drinking the kool aid.
All the snarky comments about Palin, you must remember, are coming from the worshippers of Daily Kos and Huffington Post.  This is the democratic party, the party of hatred and bitterness toward America.  Of course they are upset at anyone that critizes the Bahama Mama.  He is, after all, a factor of the Chicago political machine and an "EMPTY SUIT".  Of the democrats, you can educate ignorance, but stupidity is forever.
Just stopped in to see the general opinion here.  I guess most of you didn't appreciate Sarah Palin's words or delivery.  I did.  She's absolutely terrific!
Impressive speech, but so was Sen Biden's.  They say what they want us to hear. It's their place to criticise each other, it's politics, Down & Dirty. Let's see who stands tall during the debates.
If the only dirt the left wing media can dig up on Palin is her daughters pregnancy then I believe that Mcain and Palin will win with a landslide victory.Using children and family to try to hurt and defame ones name is the lowest act and will only fuel Palins courage and switch and turn voters her way.So keep on bashing all you radical and violent left wingers, for it plays right into the GOP's strategy.Thank You.
that really show what the republican'sthink of any one who is not like them even in appearance very few minorities doe sound like nazis brainwashing tactic's have finially appeared if not why or who can help the rest of America for those rich folk's never had
I'm a mom of 3 daughters & 1 son.  Sarah Palin is not our type of woman.  We want the first VP and First woman president to earn the position not be a token to appease women voters.  I want our choice to have her own speech writer and not just be the delivery girl for the message. The over-60 generations' eyes may need glasses and you may have to speak up so we can hear a little better but we are not deaf and dumb.  I heard nothing new, and nothing constructive in Ms. Palin's speech.  I'm backing Hillary's choice.
You are absolutely right.  I am a Democrat, but I will be voting for the Republicans this time around.  The most astounding thing that I find in this year's election is that of the media.  You cannot say the media is not with Obama.  From CNN- the best political team (who throne them?) or did they give themselves that title?  MSNBC- Keith , he should've stayed with ESPN.  MSNBC say that they give everyone a fair shot, do they ever watch themselves?  You should hear the comments they had for the DNC vs. the RNC.  Big arguement there.  If Obama loses, it is because he did not pick up Hilary and no, I am not a Hilary supporter.  He needed her to win this election in August and not try to win in November.  Though Democrat, it's Republican this election.  Go figure, we democrats saw a majority in the senate and what did we do the past two years...nothing.  How does Congress get a lower approval rating than BUSH.  Now that's what you have to be asking yourself.
