First thoughts: Has the worm turned?

*** Has the worm turned? After the news of the crisis on Wall Street, McCain’s “the fundamentals of our economy are strong” stumble on Monday, the slip-ups yesterday by McCain’s two biggest economic surrogates (see below for more on that), and four days of sustained TV ad and email blasts by the Obama campaign and the DNC, the political worm seems to have turned a tad since the Palin bounce. Indeed, while we’re not crazy about focusing too much on those daily tracking polls, their needles have moved in Obama’s direction the past couple of days (and we bet that continues today). And guess what -- we’re not talking as much about Palin as we were last week, except for the latest developments in the Troopergate scandal in Alaska. The race has turned back into McCain vs. Obama, and it currently is sitting on turf (the economy) that should favor Democrats. In fact, even the McCain campaign tacitly acknowledges Palin's off the front pages with a new TV ad today that doesn't mention Palin at all -- not even a "McCain-Palin" Administration. It’s simply McCain. By the way, a car-bomb attack today on the US embassy in Yemen (which killed 16 people, including six security forces, six terrorists, and four civilians) reminds us that the focus of the presidential race -- as well as that political worm -- can turn at a moment’s notice.

*** McCain targeting Gordon Gekko: But even with the attack in Yemen, today’s focus will probably remain on the economy. Both candidates have new TV ads in which they speak to the camera about the current troubles on Wall Street. Here’s McCain’s, which his campaign says will be televised nationally: “You, the American workers, are the best in the world. But your economic security has been put at risk by the greed of Wall Street. That's unacceptable. My opponent's only solutions are talk and taxes. I'll reform Wall Street and fix Washington. I've taken on tougher guys than this before.”

VIDEO: Obama raises millions at a Hollywood fundraiser, while McCain mocks him for attending such an event during tough economic times. NBC's Andrea Mitchell reports.

*** Gone in 120 seconds: Meanwhile, Obama’s out with a two-minute TV ad on the economy -- a sort of a mini-address to show he's taking the current Wall Street crisis seriously. "Here’s what I believe we need to do,” he says in the ad. “Reform our tax system to give a $1,000 tax break to the middle class instead of showering more on oil companies and corporations that outsource our jobs. End the ‘anything goes’ culture on Wall Street with real regulation that protects your investments and pensions. Fast track a plan for energy ‘made-in-America’ that will free us from our dependence on mid-east oil in 10 years and put millions of Americans to work. Crack down on lobbyists… And yes, bring a responsible end to this war in Iraq so we stop spending billions each month rebuilding their country when we should be rebuilding ours. Doing these things won’t be easy. But we’re Americans. We’ve met tough challenges before. And we can again." This ad isn't just a contrast with McCain; it's actually a contrast with President Bush. In the last six months since the country's economic problems have been front-page news, Bush hasn't done a major address to the nation like he has when there has been international news. By the way, neither this Obama ad nor McCain’s emphasizes jobs. They both talk about them (or imply them), but they aren’t the lead.

*** When surrogates screw up: McCain’s top two economic surrogates had a tough day yesterday. First, Douglas Holtz-Eakin -- in a response to reporters’ questions about what McCain did at the Senate Commerce Committee to understand how markets work -- whipped out his BlackBerry. "He did this," he replied. “Telecommunications of the United States is a premier innovation in the past 15 years, comes right through the Commerce committee so you're looking at the miracle John McCain helped create and that's what he did." That produced a slew of McCain-invented-the-BlackBerry jokes. Next, Carly Fiorina answered “no” to a question in a radio interview whether Palin has the experience to run a corporation like Hewlett-Packard. In a later interview with Andrea Mitchell on MSNBC, Fiorina said that none of the candidates was qualifed. "Well, I don't think John McCain could run a major corporation; I don't think Barack Obama could run a major corporation; I don't think Joe Biden could run a major corporation.” The Obama camp immediately pounced. “If John McCain’s top economic advisor doesn’t think he can run a corporation, how on Earth can he run the largest economy in the world in the midst of a financial crisis?" Ouch.

VIDEO: NBC's Chuck Todd gives his first read on McCain's difficulty addressing economic concerns over the past couple days and discusses the lack of emphasis on job creation from either candidate.

*** A stroll through memory lane: Remember when two of the leading voices against Wall Street in the Dem Party were John Edwards and Eliot Spitzer? The Edwards and Spitzer rhetoric, even if from flawed characters, is being borrowed from heavily by both campaigns right now.

*** The Beltway buzzer: The buzzy piece of the day comes courtesy of the Politico’s Roger Simon, who has some former Dem bigwigs wringing their hands slightly at the position Obama finds himself in. The most interesting criticism comes from Donna Brazile, who believes Obama’s media strategists “need to sharpen their ads so they are more memorable and have a shelf life of more than 24 hours.” This gets at a whisper campaign that we've been privvy to for some time about Obama's media team. A lot of smart political types have been surprised by the lack of "stickiness" of Obama's TV ads. McCain's ads might be getting killed by the truth-squadders, but they are being talked about and voters seem to remember them. There's not a memorable Obama TV ad that anyone can point to and say, "Wow, that's an interesting ad," even as they seem well produced and well focus-grouped. The most memorable Dem ad we can think of is one that has to do with a 3:00 am phone call. By the way, speaking of "sticky," there's a new MoveOn ad that uses McCain's "my friends" catch phrase very cleverly. Yet another ad from the Dem side that's catchy but not from Team Obama.

*** Republican Jews swift-boating Obama? Don’t miss the Politico story about the Republican Jewish Coalition commissioning a negative poll about Obama in some battleground states. “The poll asked voters their response to negative statements about Obama, including reported praise for him from a leader of the Palestinian terror group Hamas and a friendship early in his career with a pro-Palestinian university professor. Some Jewish Democrats who received the poll – including a New Republic writer who lives in Michigan – were outraged by the poll, describing it in interviews as ‘ugly’ and disturbing. A group that supports Obama, the Jewish Council for Education and Research even staged a protest outside the Manhattan call center from which the calls originated Tuesday.” It appears to truly be a message-testing poll -- and not a so-called "push poll" -- which goes to tens of thousands of voters. This was an actual survey testing the most effective attack against Obama.

*** Clinton's no second fiddle: In the span of about four hours yesterday, Hillary Clinton committed then decommitted to a planned Monday protest of Ahmadienjad in New York. For the opening of the UN General Assembly, a coalition of Jewish groups hoped to flex its political muscle by convincing both Clinton and Palin to participate in an anti-Iran protest. Well, no one told Clinton's folks Palin would also be there. When they found out, they felt blindsided and backed out. Palin isn't 100% yet on the protest -- but her attendance is very likely, particularly since her first meeting with some key Jewish leaders in the US didn't go so well. She needs to show some Israeli solidarity. Palin's appearance at the UN is a tricky decision by the McCain campaign because there's a fine line between introducing a future VP to the world and looking like someone participating in their first model UN.

*** On the trail: McCain and Palin hold an evening rally in Grand Rapids, MI. Obama is in Nevada, stumping in Elko and attending a rally in North Las Vegas. Biden, in Ohio, campaigns in Maumee and Wooster. And Michelle Obama visits Virginia, attending a women’s economic roundtable in Richmond and then a voter-registration rally in Charlottesville.

*** Elsewhere: On Capitol Hill today, at the DNC headquarters, Speaker Nancy Pelosi and Reps. Jan Schakowsky, Rosa DeLauro, Donna Edwards, Linda Sanchez, and Diana DeGette hold a press conference contrasting the Obama and McCain records on women’s issues. Meanwhile, Clinton supporter and DNC Platform Committee member Lynn Forester de Rothschild (wife of international banker Sir Evelyn de Rothschild) holds a presser announcing her support for McCain.

Obama’s media strategists “need to sharpen their ads so they are more memorable and have a shelf life of more than 24 hours.
*******************************************************

Thank you Donna Brazile.  This is what I've been saying.  Obama is a great candidate, but the two-minute, sit-down-and-talk-with-you ads aren't working for him.  I'm no media strategist, but I can recognize something that doesn't quite cut it.

Obama has gained 7 points in the latest Zogby poll to retake the lead over McCain: www.zogby.com

Old Zogby: Obama 41% / McCain 46%

NEW Zogby: Obama 47% / McCain 45%
Once all the novelty of "Shiny New Palin" wears off, all that's left is the inevitable vetting and dissecting of the candidate. And so far, nearly everything we are finding out about Palin is BAD.

LIED about Bridge to Nowhere
LIED about earmarks
LIED about Troopergate
LIED about a broken teleprompter at the convention
Makes RAPE victims pay for their own rape kits, but she has no problem letting the city of Wasila buy her a $24k SUV!!!

People are starting to say "Thanks, but no thanks" to Sarah Palin.
McCain says "I've taken on tougher guys than this before!" Really? Like when he wanted Joe Lieberman for VP and caved to the far right and picked Palin? MCain's cronies on Wall Street (and campaign donors) created this mess and now we're supposed to think he has the cojones to fix it? BEEEP! Your time is up, McCain...
Hey, not to be cranky, but how about telling us information about the new Obama ad like where it is playing and how heavily?  Telling us what is in it when you've already given us the link seems like fluffing.
yes folks, palin is beginning her rapid descent as Americans find out the TRUTH about her.
Question to John McCain:

Will you publicly pledge that, if elected, you will not appoint Phil Gramm as your Secretary of the Treasury.  "Foreclosure Phil," author of the legislation that de-regulated Enron, former Senator who gutted the firewall that separated commercial banks and investment banks, a deregulator through and through, who left the Senate and passed through the revolving door to K Street where he lobbied for a foreign bank while serving as the McCain campaign's senior economic adviser, yes, the Phil Gramm who stepped down as a McCain campaign chairman after uttering the words that the "recession is mental," and that we are a "nation of whiners."  Phil Gramm, whose 1996 presidential campaign was chaired by, you guessed it, John McCain.

Senator McCain - will you pledge that, if elected, Phil Gramm will not serve in your cabinet, as you go ahead and clean up Wall Street?
Of course you conveniently left out the American embassy bombing in Yemen. That serves as a stark reminder that radical muslims still exist in the world and intend to do us grat harm. McCain understands how to deal with that, Obama doesn't. And the financial markets? They are fundamentally sound. A liberal wouldn't know a fundamental of the market if it bit them on their fat lazy butts.
"reckless conduct, corruption and unbridled greed" and "In my administration, we're going to hold people on Wall Street responsible. And we're going to enact and enforce reforms to make sure that these outrages never happen in the first place."  Unfortunately for McCain, his voting record does not support his current rhetoric.  In fact, and I apologize in advance for the characterization – but this is my opinion and FIRM belief:

How on earth does McCain intend to EVOLVE (sarcasm-irony not lost on me) the Republican Party?  The entire tenant of this party is greed and corruption.  It is a pattern, not an anomaly that Republicans gain power, deregulate programs and policies designed to keep things ethical and fair, then they rape and pillage the coffers and finally, they becomes the “outraged”.  YOU CAN NO LONGER HAVE IT ALL WAYS, Repubs.  We are ‘on to you’.  Flashback to Reagan years mortgage interest rates in the teens (13%-16%) and low and behold, Savings and Loan Bailout (insert Keating 5 here).  McCain has wrapped himself in the truest sense of the terms to this administration (and previous, recall he was a foot soldier in the Reagan army) and their continued failed policies of greed.  As is typical with this party, the Buck Doesn’t Stop Here – they will just dress this up in feigned outrage, say whatever seems expedient now and continue business as usual.  We literally CANNOT afford four more years of this absolute farce.

My Independent and Democratic friends, we need to be clear and swift and vote these b@st@rds out, NOW!
Looks like McCain and his campaign also LIES about the BIG crowds that he professes to get.  No where NEAR the number that he claims to get.  More like hundreds to a couple thousands.  LIES AND MORE LIES = McCain AND HIS CAMPAIGN.

OBAMA/BIDEN, 2008!
See, there's the problem with Obama. He was no answers to any issues. He's like a crow squaking on a fence. He makes a lot of noise and annoys people, but serves no real purpose. Obama never talked about the banking problems in ths country until this week. And that's all he's doing is piling blame on others for those problems. McCain at least says that the fundamentals are strong, because they are, and talks about what needs to be done in the future. Obama just points fingers.
Too bad Hillary is not going to the UN; Palin will get some points.
Obama is also proposing eliminating taxes on seniors who make $50,000, I think he should go a step farther and eliminate taxes on the first $50,000 of workers earnings, this gives a big incentive to WORK and will give WORKERS  more $$$ to spend for necessities and things they WANT and this $$$ would be spent in their local communities which would provide profits for local businesses and more jobs for local workers.
The worm has turned big time. The Obama/Biden ticket is heading downhill with Independents, white women, both Democrat and Republican, and others in the general population, pushing it.

As popular as Barack was in the beginning, well, there's a "New Kid In Town." (Eagles) Her name is Sarah Palin and she makes Obama's charm and charisma yesterday's news. Her whole life, and that of McCain, are both amazing stories.

Palin has Obama's campaign in chaos. And why does Barack always need a teleprompter?

The Jobama Socialists have unleased their media attack dogs to denigrate Gov Palin and the Republicans.  The socialists are the cancer that is destroying my country and I deeply, deeply resent it.
"Plan for Change" - This is an excellent ad. With all the chaos taking place in the media, it gives us a chance to hear a complete and clear message from Obama. No choppy sound bites to analyze and twist. He appears sincere and concerned about the state of our economy. He places blame where it should be placed - with Washington. He discusses his plan to help improve our current situation, giving several of his ideas. This is very convincing, and two minutes goes pretty fast since it's filled with substance. For me, it's a winner.
Obama just can't get off that rebate jag he's on can he? We're all going to need bigger mailboxes for all the rebate checks that Barack is going to send us.
It's so funny that "Flip Flop" McCain's campaign is in panic mode now that the media honeymoon with the Wicked Witch of Alaska is over and her popularity is waning.  We need to know what she did with Troopergate before the election.  This coverup tells us that she does have something to hide.  They're running scared, like moose caught in the headlights.

Trust the repugnant ones to have some slimy swiftboating ad targetting Jewish voters trying to get them to not vote their normal way for Democrats.  They will stoop to any low to win and we can't afford another 4 years of incompetent dishonest leadership.

Go Obama/Biden 08/12!
The media does not necessary express the silence mayority's opinion. I still believe that Palin is very welcome in the mayority middle class worker, specially women. My vote is for Palin.
Oil companies outsourcing jobs?  That has to be an all time stupid remark.  The Democratic Party is outsourcing energy sector jobs to the middle east and south america by foot dragging on utililzing our own resources to provide our own energy needs.  The oil shale out west is estimated to contain sufficient oil reserves to last the United States 400 years.  OBAMA just don't get it.  Who is paying these people to keep us importing oil instead of producing it ourselves and giving Americans those good paying jobs.
Chuck Todd just said that both candidates are in reactive mode. We know that is a false statement. I will borrow a phrase from Richard Clarke. Barack Obama's 'hair on fire' warnings has been out there for many, many months. He proposed legislation in 2006/sent letter to fed(Bernanke) over a year ago/spoke to Wall Street at least twice. Meanwhile, McCain and his economic brain(Phil Gramm) has been Mr(s) De-regulators.

Plan to Strengthen the Economy

Almost one year ago to the day, Barack Obama sent a letter (below) to Federal Reserve Chairman Ben Bernanke and Treasury Secretary Henry Paulson urging them to convene a homeownership preservation summit. Today, Clinton is proposing essentially the same thing.

One key difference, however, is the diversity and representation that Obama called for – not just some of the same people who helped to create these problems or have a direct financial industry stake in the outcome: “I urge you immediately to convene a homeownership preservation summit with leading mortgage lenders, investors, loan servicing organizations, consumer advocates, federal regulators and housing-related agencies to assess options for private sector responses to the challenge.”

Poor Hillary. Did Sarah scare her away from the protest? I guess now she can stay home and make cookies for Bill.
I'm not as concerned about Senator Obama's ads as I am about the upcoming debates. I don't know how you "go after" a 72 year old. There's plenty of ammunition Senator Obama can use; I just don't know if he wants to be that aggressive with Senator McCain.

Maybe Obama can make this election not about McCain, but about the GOP and how they have literally run this country into the ground on so many levels.

But of course, Senator Obama can't come off as "elitist" even though it is McCain who has those honors. Is tagging the word "elitist" on Obama an excuse for people in PA, Ohio & Michigan not to vote for Obama? Are they just plain racists and will not, under any circumstances, vote for an African American?

Chris Matthews I have heard, keeps saying "Obama can't connect with working people". What does this mean? Is Matthews making excuses for people in his home state who will not vote for an AA? So instead of pointing the finger at them, he's blaming Obama, who to me seems to be connecting to people quite well out on the campaign.

All I know is the debates will decide many things for millions of people.
The media does not necessary express the silence mayority's opinion. I still believe that Palin is very welcome in the mayority middle class worker, specially women. My vote is for Palin.
As usual, Obama's ad today on the economy is intelligent and constructive; McCain's is a sound bite: "I'll fix it."
"And guess what -- we’re not talking as much about Palin as we were last week, except for the latest developments in the Troopergate scandal in Alaska."

Good. Now that Palin has become boring, we can all focus on how McCain is prone to kneejerk, emotional reactions to situations, and thus further demonstrates his lack of temperment.
The Republicans got their "Palin" bounce, but now that the voters are reminded about the issues and they are learning what a poor pick Palin was they're starting to come around to who will actually be on their side in the White House.
Obama.
Fiorina is literally off her rocker.  Is McCain really sure that this woman is on HIS campaign, and not just in it to further her career???  She, and the McCain pick for VP are political opportunists at best.

OBAMA/BIDEN, 2008!
Yeah, you wish the focus today will be on the economy. The attack in Yemen shows the evil-doers are still amongst us. Better to have a President that knows how to deal with it rather then one that talks a good game, but has never played in one.
"Indeed, while we’re not crazy about focusing too much on those daily tracking polls, their needles have moved in Obama’s direction the past couple of days (and we bet that continues today)."
------------------------------------------------------
Tracking polls by themselves are pretty useless, except for monitoring trends- and the trendlines are definitely headed in an Obama direction.  Plus, Palin's unfavorables are skyrocketing.  What a shame, heh.

And, kudos to Hillary for refusing to be played.  This kills any hopes the McCain campaign had to start another media frenzy re: Senator Clinton vs. Sarah Palin.  Hillary was wise to say "Thanks, but no thanks."
So...Troopergate and she won't cooperate--hidden lies? Ads that are false--more lies, McCain the de-regulator wants to be a "regulator", more lies.  My, my, why should anyone beleive anything they say.  Obama should win in a walk! Women, understand that we fought for everything McCain/Palin are against!
It's amazing that Obama has been trying to help the economy with good plans and even warning the administration about impending economic problems but has been largely ingnored even though time has proven him correct.  Meanwhile "Bush Hugger" McCain just kept repeating the same old garbage line about the fundamentals of the economy are strong.

I hope that Rachel Maddow calls out that coward from Alaska to an interview.  The lying coward keeps saying how she doesn't blink in the face of adversity so I hope Rachel puts that to the test.

Go Obama/Biden 08/12!
Gorden Gekko was a vicious person...GREED IS GOOD...and that is really what the McCain campaign is all about as far as wall street is concerned.  He as done NOTHING while in the Senate to help with all this mess that had been unfolding BEFORE he was running for President....he has not interest in helping the Middle Class!!! Never has.
Mr. Obama really needs to continue doing what he is doing.  He is the best candidate (besides Hillary) to do the job right the first time!  I am glad that he has enough class and integrity to not lower himself to McCain's level of smear campaining. And it's obvious that McCain and his running mate, (Palin and what corrupt policies is she going to bring to the Whitehouse?) are on the path of total distruction of our great nation!!

It's time we do something about dirty government.  The best way to change that is to vote in Senator Obama and try something new or at least something similar to what the Clinton's brought to the USA for eight great years of leadership.
Not attacking any one here, just, a whole lot of horrays for Senator Obama.
The Republican Jewish group should be reminded that Obama is related to a Jewish Rabbi.
Some Jewish Democrats who received the poll – including a New Republic writer who lives in Michigan – were outraged by the poll..."

Were they outraged at the poll or disturbed by the truth?  Not one thing printed here is not true about Obama.  Fact is, there is much more!

"Meanwhile, Clinton supporter and DNC Platform Committee member Lynn Forester de Rothschild (wife of international banker Sir Evelyn de Rothschild) holds a presser announcing her support for McCain."

Pretty telling when your platform chair bails!

And, John will do it!  He has a proven record of taking it on. Palin has done the same and she has overhauled a state government and taken on the oil industry so has the know how. It is interesting that Biden and Obama answered questions about Wall Street yesterday by answering with tax cuts for middle income.  What the hell does that have to do with Wall Street?  Taxes didn't cause the problems.  And, when are people going to realize where the mortgage crisis comes from?  Dems pushed for "homes for everybody" and pushed banking into making loans to people who should never been approved for a mortgage.  And, now, Obama will have us bail those people out so they can keep those homes. NO THANKS, Obama. You want to take and take and take. As Margaret Thatcher said, "The problem with socialism is that at some point you run out of other people's money".  Wake up, Obamatots.  It can't work. Put higher tax on the small businesses who produce the most jobs. They either have to raise prices or fire employees.  When that happens, it will take care of any tax relief Obama is promising you.  And, now, Wonder Boy who has PROMISED his tax cuts WILL happen immediately is saying that might have to be delayed.  He's a liar. He will say anything to get elected.
“Telecommunications of the United States is a premier innovation in the past 15 years, comes right through the Commerce committee so you're looking at the miracle John McCain helped create and that's what he did."
------------------------------------------------------
What Douglas Holtz-Eakin conveniently left out of his idiotic statement was that John McCain voted AGAINST the Telecommunications Act in 1996, which basically got the technological ball rolling.  Yes, John McCain sat on the committee, but his presence did nothing to help the process along.
"You, the American workers, are the best in the world."
So, I've decided you don't really need any tax relief.

"I'll reform Wall Street and fix Washington."
By giving the vast majority of people who work in each huge tax cuts.

"I've taken on tougher guys than this before."
Noun-Verb-POW or was he talking about Huckabee surrogate Chuck Norris?

How many times has Donna Brazile been elected president?
None. Let's not forget all of these 'Democratic bigwigs' have kept Democrats out of the White House for a vast majority of the last 60 years. Maybe you should sit back and let the man work. If you look, Obama's going for substance. Let the indies do the catchy thing.

Call it what you will, but this Jewish poll was disgusting and represents the worst of politics.

Yeah, in Hillary's defense, for someone to call me up and say "Hey, we want you to headline this thing." and then for me to find out in the paper that the person I would least like to be compared to is showing up as well, I'd head for ze hills too.

This kangaroo court of Palin going to the UN. Jesus.

I hope that America will realize that this was all a desperate PR attempt when Mcain picked Palin. It was not done with the best interests of America in mind, only winning an election. Stop the insanity, vote Obama.

McCain Proven Right: Federal Housing Regulatory Reform Act of 2005
HAS ANYONE THOUGHT WHY PALIN SCARES THE LIBERALS.MAYBE A FRESH FACE IS WHAT WE NEED.
I sure hope that the tide has turned toward Obama and turned for good. One day McCain says the fundamentals of the economy are sound; the next day he calls for a 9/11 Committee to study it. If this is a sign of how he would govern, he would be appointing committees to tell him two years later what he should have known and what he should have done two years previously.
So Obama wants to give us $1,000.  I got news for him.  He isn't giving us a thing. IT IS OUR MONEY IN THE FIRST PLACE.  Just leave it with us in the first place.
I am tring to find out if it is true that Sarah Palin's Convention Speech was written by a Bush speechwriter and if it is true that she is being "coached" for her debates by Bush advisors. Would you know?
Has it turned? Or is it that you want it to turn? We thank you, the media for putting Palin up there but what happened? Did it backfire on you, LOL. The Troopergate issue is nothing, just more advertisement for Palin. There is nothing there, there is nothing on the investigation and democrats are trying hard to find a little nail to hang on. On the other side yes, we have to look at polls because dem. From the beginning love to see themselves riding high on the polls well, as you put it take a stroll through memory lane and four years ago we were supposed to have a democratic President but, THE POLLS WERE WRONG.
I dont really think the worn has turned, I dont think McCain is or was really ahead in the polls, I cant see the polls as accurate this year. I have voted
all my life and have never been polled. Still have a land line. None of my neighbors, no friends, maybe a few realatives in CO.
John McCain is not capable of leading this country, he even knows it, (I know he knows how to win wars, he also knows how to fix the economy, he said so). We
should all know that the McCain whitehouse would be run by the same people as GWB Whitehouse is run by.
John McCain's veep pick is just as bad she knows nothing and can be run easliy by the neo cons. they welcome this.
Its really sad but this country can not put race behind us.  Someone please tell Chris Matthews that Obama cant be passionate, the right will start screaming about a angry black man. Remember when Michele Obama was passionate. ( Angry Black Woman)
Obama/Biden
Old white woman in s.c.

A 9/11 commision to figure out to Bomb Wall Street
It's nice to finally hear some news about McCain versus Obama.  I think most of us hardcore political junkies knew Palin would fade from the headlines, but it just takes patience to realize that the papers will eventually return to substance.
I see that little Sarah still has to hold John's hand.

McCain's lost - he's needs a retirement home - Not the White House.
