He's ahead by more in Michigan than PA?  That's an odd finding (I'd expect he's up in both by about 5)
It's looking like people are finally taking the blinders off. Thank you, from the bottom of my Democratic heart.

Go-Obama/Biden 08/12 :)
Yes - there is a GOD!!!

Thank you and GOD BLESS AMERCIA
Hillary Clinton would have been well ahead in PA and OH.
Can't figure out Michigan voters. They have a Democratic governor, two very liberal Senators, a majority of Democratic house members, a Democrat mayor going to jail in Detroit, an economy that is in turmoil. And the Michigan voters answer to all their problems? Elect more Democrats. Just goes to show you how unions rot peoples brains. Might as well just get the hammer and sickle flag and put up over the state capital.
I fear Obama will only lose Ohio because of so called "voting machine irregularities", in other words, republican cheating.
Wow!!! And it will only get better! Americans can no longer tolerate the way the goverment is handling our lives!  We have all had enough! America is a leader , and should we not lead with the best president! Obama/Biden!!!
Why are you still keeping Michigan in the toss-up states? OBAMA has been consistantly leading. You can atleast put it in the leaning toward OBAMA catagory.
Middle America is a lot smarter than Republicans think they are!
3 more states where people are wising up.....there's hope for us after all !   Go Obama / Biden !!!
Hear that people?  If you listen carefully, you'll hear the sound of the Palin balloon going "POP!"

Obama/Biden '08!

P.S.  I'd like to see how the McCain/Palin posters will try and spin this.
Palin has me spinning so much I think I'm getting a woody
Love these polls !

Obama and Mccain tied in Ohio ?  I don't think even the people in Ohio will be tricked again into voting for the repugs. But then again, they voted against their best interest in the past two elections so who knows? But they get what they deserve if they vote for Mccain !!!! Penna. is no way close, this pollster must be on drugs !!!!!!!!

50/41 in MI. My sources there on the ground say it's more like 70/30. I guess people don't like being told their jobs aren't coming back and then being told that their going to have to give $25 billion to the idiots who outsourced their jobs in the first place. Who would have thought?
Yes - there is a GOD!!!

Thank you and GOD BLESS AMERCIA

You're really confused about this God thing, aren't you?
wow is Obama really up by 9 in Michigan??  Does that safely take it out of the lean to solidly Obama column.

I also thinking the other two shocking numbers are how close he is in Florida and NC. wow who would have thunk it.

Thanks for the Electorate vote state maps.  They a re awesome.
If these totals are from NBC polls then they are WRONG. They don't add up to the other polls I've seen.
It is going to be fun watching America wake up from all the Republican lies over the next month.

Better late than never.

Obama/Biden '08/'12
I like the Michigan poll.  I was laughing so hard at the "Bush Hugger" McCain rally at a Michigan auto plant where the workers shouted the old liar out of their union plant with chants of "Obama 08"!  Bet he never sets foot in another union shop now that he's seen that union workers hate him for his wicked ways of shipping their jobs to China.

Go Obama/Biden 08/12!
One more thing, you left off the dates, and show RVs, not LVs.  This poll was done BEFORE Monday, and Obama fairs better with LVs than all RVs, interestingly (Hasn't been the case in other states or in the national polls):

Marist College
~9/11-15/08; ~550 LV, 4%

Mode: Live Telephone Interviews

Michigan
Obama 52, McCain 43

Ohio
Obama 47, McCain 45

Pennsylvania
Obama 49. McCain 44
Note that it's registered rather than likely voters.  Obama usually does better in that scenario than otherwise.  Still pretty good numbers, though you have to think they'd like a sustained lead in Ohio (of course).
It might not be too late John, dump the self skinning moose and get Lieberman!
Nice big juicy gains on the stock market again today. All credited to Bush and his team, and McCain too seeing he agrees with 90% of what Bush does. Obama will have to curtail all his celebration from when the market was falling. New polls from the states will reflect this success story for McCain.
Palin is cool. She's taken all the cool from Obama too.

Yea that's what this election is all about! Hooray for low information voters!

Why is Ohio still tied?  Do these idiots enjoy seeing their economy destroyed and their banks collapsing?  I think in the end they will wake up and obama will be up 5, but this is getting ridiculous.
These are encouraging numbers. Obama and his team need to continue working hard to widden his lead to a comfortable level.
It's the economy, stupid!!!
Its the Palin bounce for Obama!
thank goodness - people are starting to wake up - we surely don't need McCain (Dumb) and Palin (Dumber) running our country- go Obama/Biden
That news just made my day!!!
Wake up, Ohio, it was you who gave us Dubya last election. Please don't screw America again. Obama 08/12
YEA!!!

People are finally paying attention and voting their "personal interests" and not silliness.

We still have a lot of work to do!

Make sure all of your family and friends are registered to vote and keep reminding them to do so.

We can also volunteer to work the phones and canvass our neighborhoods encouraging people to BaRack the VOTE !

Its about time he moves a head in Michigan, that state has lost thousands of jobs and the  house lost is very high. I am allmost stun and mistified at the same time at the views of the media concerning McCain and that (lady) from moose country, why under heaven  are these people on the front page, they are part of the problem of the Bush administration which got us into all this mess. The republican party should be banish from governing any thing for thirty years (30) at least so we can effectively clean up their stench and make right that which  has gone so bad. No one in their right  frame of mine should consider voting for those that cause  all this mayhem. Pres. Bush is missing in action, hiding from his past actions and his failed policies which has bancrupt this nation. John McCain should find a cave and hide him self inside. Every time he opens up his mouth he make us sick and want to barp. America the Republican party is dead, no ideas, no vision, no plan, same ole garbage of tricke down economics which only keep the rich, richer. Enough, enough, enough of this horse crap, they have f--k this nation up fair and square.
This looks good but I agree with others who say that polls change constantly, and the poll that really counts is the one on Nov. 4th.  To ensure that Obama is on top in that poll it is imperative that we continue to get more people registered, get out and vote, and get others out to the polls to vote.  We can't lose focus.  This is an historic election and we must get as close to 100% turnout as possible.
Well, contrary to what the resident Dodge-driving right wing has been saying, it looks like maybe the worm HAS turned.

Maybe, just maybe, Sarah Palin did help the ticket -- Obama's ticket, that is.

Here's another one for you, Full Moon ... ;)

Baby you can drive my car,
Yes, he's gonna be a star.   (Beatles)

Even better among likely voters:

Michigan     Marist Obama 52, McCain 43 Obama +9
Ohio         Marist McCain 45, Obama 47 Obama +2
Pennsylvania Marist Obama 49, McCain 44 Obama +5
Looks like all that McCain momentum just hit a brick wall.  My faith in the American people has been restored...at least for now.
My first thought is that the Palin Effect had worn thin, but it really is the economy (stupid).
These polls are based on the problems seen in the makets earlier this week. Obamas populist message was good when the maket was bad, but now that it's up nearly 10 percent a two days, Obama looks like the fool he his. Obama has no answers, only whining and complaints. His idea of higher taxes won't help this country, it will only force more job loses here, and more jobs being sent overseas. You can't win a campaign with all negative campaigning. Sooner or later the voters want to know what your ideas are to help the country. Obama has none, other then higher taxes and rebate checks. That won't get the job done. Look for these polls to swing back to McCain next week.
Cmon Michigan!  Don't let me down!
McCain has hurt himself with his flailing about during the last week.

He's gone from "everything is fine, the fundamentals are strong"

To "we're in crisis, panic, panic, panic!!"

To "Fire the SEC chairman, he is evil!"

and now "We'll created a commission to fix everything.  I can't say how but everyone knows commissions are good, right?"
Ohio will decide it. Watch closely.
That Michigan poll is an outlier.  It doesn't match what the other polls average there.
The GOP ticket has been peeling at both ends for a while. Lacking in all honesty and integrity, it sure doesn't look very appealing.
maybe its cause when Palin was giving an opportunity to let us know about her foriegn policy experience, she just went on a rant about nothing, then to end it with if you want specifics just ask, but yet she was asked and didn't have much to say.. BRING ON THE DEBATES!!!
