From NBC/NJ's Matthew Berger and Adam Aigner-Treworgy
MINNEAPOLIS, Minn. -- Introducing her running mate today in Minneapolis, Palin said that her revoked invitation to next week's "Stop Iran" rally is the fault of "Democrat partisans" who politicized the event.

"Some Democrat partisans put politics first and now no elected official will be able to appear at that Stop Iran Rally," Palin told the crowd. "Iran's pursuit of these weapons should concern all Americans, this should not be a matter for partisan politics."

Yesterday, First Read reported that the group's invitation to Palin, which was revoked yesterday along with invitations to all political figures, was originally extended by Jewish leader  Malcolm Hoenlein, an associate of Palin advisor Mark Wallace.

Hoenlein tells NBC/NJ that Palin was invited -- with the approval of all the event organizers -- after efforts to secure a Republican senator to speak were unsuccessful. He said there was no initial effort to reach out to the Obama campaign because they already had a prominent Democrat on board  -- Hillary Clinton, who canceled the appearance after hearing of Palin's intention to attend.

(Today, Palin lauded Clinton's original agreement to appear at Monday's event, noting that she "appreciates" the one-time presidential candidate's commitment to the cause.)

Acknowledging the concern of some members that the group could lose its tax-exempt status if Palin attended without a Democratic counterpart, Hoenlein said that an offer was made to the Obama campaign, which designated Rep. Robert Wexler to speak for them.

The group announced in a press release yesterday that "In order to keep the focus on Iranian threats and to ensure that this critical message not be obscured, the organizers of the rally have decided not to have any American political personalities appear. "

There she go again LYING thru her teeth.

Dang can`t they ever open their mouths and tell the truth?

Guess not.............
Ya can't conquer if first you don't divide. Damn they'e good at that.....
"it's not FAIR!" *stomp stomp stomp*
So the way I read this is that Palin is lying, again?  There's a shocker.  Really, unbelievable that SHE is the one politicizing it.

Keep the focus where it should be, on Iran.
So there...you silly girl.  Obama had a representative also un invited.  What a silly girl.
Obama/Biden must be the most powerful duo in the world. They can get any organization to do their bidding. Obviously they should be lecetd.

Dipstick/Lipstick's paranoia is showing big time.
It sounds to me like the republicans are the ones who are using the event for politics since you are the ones that are talking about it now in part of your stump speech. And come on now...lets be truthful. Palin you know the only reason you agreed to go was to help gain credibility to your complete lack of foreign policy experience.

One thing is for sure: Palin will do anything or say anything to get ahead. I think she would throw her family under the fire if it meant moving ahead politically.
She's just pandering to the jewish lobby, bush has already done their killing for them, she just wants to put the icing on the cake and unilaterally declare war between alaska and iran
Another day - Another Republican lie.  What part of "In order to keep the focus on Iranian threats and to ensure that this critical message not be obscured, the organizers of the rally have decided not to have any American political personalities appear" does she not understand?

McCain/Palin = The Ultimate Bridge to Nowhere
After calling Hillary a whiner during the democratic primary, Palin now has nothing but admiration and praise for her.  Do they really think we'll believe all this!
I appreciate a good protest as much as the next guy (well, as a former San Francisco, let me say as much as the next San Franciscan!). :-)

But attending a protest strikes me as a decidely unpresidential activity. I don't think it would be appropriate for Bush or Cheney to attend this event.

Nor do I think Obama, Biden, McCain, or Palin should be there.

Palin's decision to attend was purely political from the get-go.

If Palin shows up anywhere, it should be in Alaska to talk to investigators about Troopergate.

Why Hilary backed out of the rally is the real question.  However, Palin seems to enjoy the taste of her foot in her mouth.  Better yet, she reminds me of the dizzy Miss Teen USA trying to answer a question that she has no clue whatsoever.
Ah hello Sarah, why exactly are you going to attend the event? A photo-op with Hilary? A brush up on foreign affairs? Now let me ask you, shouldn't you preach to yourself what you just said.

You are using the event to achieve your agenda. Are you truly concerned about Iran's capability? If so, have you done anything, anything at all in the past that would suggest that?

This is beyond hypocritical. I once respected McCain. The more I found out about his votes and other interesting facts, the more I lose respect.

You two would put personal agenda above the welfare of the Country. If you have any decency left Sarah, you should not have accepted this nomination knowing it is above and beyond your capabilities. That you are not equipped to be at this stage. It is an insult to the American people.
It truly showed McCain's motive of winning at all cost.
Thank goodness that's not going to happen.

MSNBC I beg you to post this.
Democrats do what they do best when things get tough. They run away, they quit, they hide, they blame others. Bunch of cowards.
All Palin can do is finger pointing. Oh, did she forget to add "I told the Congress "thanks but no thanks" to that bridge to nowhere" at the end of the figner pointing?
She has no ideas, no fresh ideas to bring to the political scene and has to be feed scripts as if she is on life support.
It sounds to me like she, or whoever wrote this for her, are using reverse psychology. By saying that it was a partisan attempt by the democrats, she is herself making it a partisan political issue. She is so full of crap.
"Palin said that her revoked invitation to next week's "Stop Iran" rally is the fault of "Democrat partisans" who politicized the event."
------------------------------------------------------So she is trying to bait Hillary, while offering tepid praise at the same time?  Not a smart idea, Sarah.  Coming on the heels of her begging Hamad Karzai for a meeting, Gov. Palin is starting to channel Glenn Close's character in Fatal Attraction:  "I will NOT be ignored"

Sarah: If you are looking to stop your favorables from plummeting any further, this is definitely NOT the way to go about it.  Classy as always, girlfriend.  Heh.
Oye vey!

Please stop the insanity! I'm so sorry that the McCain/Palin ticket decided to politicize this event.

Please Ms. Palin, this is not about you.
"Some Democrat partisans put politics first and now no elected official will be able to appear at that Stop Iran Rally," Palin told the crowd. "Iran's pursuit of these weapons should concern all Americans, this should not be a matter for partisan politics."
==========
Oooooh, gee.  And exactly how long did it take her to memorize that one by rote?  And how many times is she going to use it?

Yesterday, First Read reported that the group's invitation to Palin, which was revoked yesterday along with invitations to all political figures, was originally extended by Jewish leader  Malcolm Hoenlein, an associate of Palin advisor Mark Wallace.
==========
Strange how she conveniently omits that fact.  But why burden oneself with inconvenient truths (apologies to Al Gore).

(Today, Palin lauded Clinton's original agreement to appear at Monday's event, noting that she "appreciates" the one-time presidential candidate's commitment to the cause.)
==========
Careful, Palin.  You keep trying to get your nose between Hillary's legs, your evangelical base will blast you for being a lesbian (apologies to any lesbians out there).  Seriously, this woman isn't good enough to iron Hillary's pants-suits.

Obama/Biden '08!

Enough!!!
Enough of her shrill voice.  I am a woman and I am beginning to really despise this one.  Lies, cover-ups, affairs, unlawfulness, accusations, dishonesty, deceit, pretense, secrets…
We’ve only known of you for 3-4 weeks and we have already had…
                ENOUGH
Palin's no friend of Israel.  I can't imagine why she was invited in the first place.  Somebody must first explain to her where Iran is, and why we hate them.
Is Gov. Palin whinning again?  So, now it's Obama's fault that they didn't want her to speak after Hillary backed out?  Hillary can speak for herself.  I don't blame her though, I wouldn't want the Republicans to make a TV ad using a picture of her and Palin.
Man, Sarah Palin is a whining idiot.  How stupid does she think Hillary Clinton is?  Palin only wanted to be there to try to capitalize on Hillary's proximity to her.  More stupid Republican-Party-Tricks.  Women aren't as dumb as Sarah and her handlers.  None of us are falling for the Republican-Party-Tricks.
Palin is right. She is not pandering. Serial demonization of various countries is national pass time. Next they're going to politicize NFL.

For a reality check on Iran, please see http://www.bibijon.org/iranimage/

http://twocanpete.blogspot.com/
Or they could have picked any woman at random and they would have been more qualified then Sarah-Cudda to show up at that anti-Iran rally.
When all else fails....blame it on the Democrats...it's the repuglican way!
WHY IS THIS HERE? I could care less about this person and her constant dribble.
Sounds like the rantings of a sore loser, HRC! and once again proof the Democratic Party has lost all sense of sanity! and their beliefs in its all about ME is going strong!

"Iran's pursuit of these weapons should concern all Americans, this should not be a matter for partisan politics."
Could she possibly be that obtuse?? Isn't that exactly the reason the organizers gave for NOT having any politicians there??
THE DEMS ARE RUNNING SCARED OF SARAH PALIN.
I am glad Senator Clinton decided not to attend the event. The fact that Sarah Palin was invited was an insult to Senator Clinton. Senator Clinton has years of experience regarding Iran. Sarah Palin came on the scene two weeks ago. I applaud the Senator for her decision not to attend the event.
What color is the sky in Sarahland?
Is it Republican red?  No, that sounds too communistic.
Is it Green? Green, in a Republican environment? No Way No How No Sireebob.
Is it ......
Look it's white.  It is a white sky with white clouds above a white landscape which contains white people.  It is kind of a fairy-tale land where white people believe the craziest things.
Is little Sarah actually unable to tell the truth about anything?  I have never seen anything like this.  Every time she opens her mouth, a lie pops out.

It is disgraceful of her to think that the voters are too stupid to see this.  Of all the women to wind up so potentially close to the Presidency, Sarah, with her itsy bitsy mind could set women back for generations to come.

Palin's invitation was originally extended by Jewish leader Malcolm Hoenlein, an associate of Palin's advisor Mark Wallace. How discraceful of the McCain to turn this event into a political ruse.
What McCain is dong here is trying to create talking points for Palin's foreign experience.

Shame on Malcolm Hoenlein for allowing this to happen.

Never Again
More lying....
OK... I have been reading all of these "news articles" since both the DNC and the RNC and I don't think I have EVER seen such a group of whiners (both camps).

I am not a fan of either party's ticket at this time; however, I will say... if there was an award for biggest baby, the award would have to go to Sarah Palin with John McCain as first runner up.

Does Sarah Palin REALLY think that the democrats carry that much power? I don't think so.

Sarah, go back to Alaska. Get out your telescope and look at Russia. You do not have the maturity level to play in Washington politics.
Isn't John McCain the one who said that NOBODY could tell him where to go, and if he wanted to go somewhere, when Senator Obama was overseas and the Pentagon pulled that rope-a-dope on him when he wanted to visit the injured troops?

So, Sarah, go on down there with your bad self - Senator McCain has got your BACK - he KNOWS how to disregard the rules whenever he wants . . . oh wait, you know about that too, don't ya Gov. Palin?
And you'll be talking to the national press when? Should we ask Mr. Wallace? Sarah Palin = joke!
Good old liar Palin!  Trying to make it sound as if all Democrats are afraid of her which is easier for her to do than tell the truth, after all she does have to build up her political credentials.  Doing a poor job of governing Alaska isn't enough for her, she has to try to do the same thing for all of America.  America doesn't need the governing powers of Palin and hopefully most of America will agree with me and not let her set foot in the White House door after 11/4.
You left out her comment that Iran was plotting a second holocaust
""Some Democrat partisans put politics first and now no elected official will be able to appear at that Stop Iran Rally," Palin told the crowd. "

And if that ain't a bunch of sexist democrats picking on Sarah, what is?
Enough!

Enough, I say!

If dealing with Iran should not be about partisan politics, Governor Palin, then for the love of God, don't make it a partisan issue by spreading your happy horse-s*** about it at a campaign rally!
The reason Palin has been uninvited is because her pastor has slammed the jewish community by saying the Jews deserve what they are getting because of what they did to Jesus.
Lee Atwater, Carl Rove's mentor, on his death bed asked for forgiveness, for the slim he taught the first Bush to use, against his contender.....this bunch have only lies, to run their campaign now.....Obama has been torpedoed under the school bus so many time's that you would think they are trying to make him in to a speed bump. So much for fixing the road ahead of us.........
Wow!  How immature most of these comments are.  The subject was the rally (why did Hillary back out?  Afraid of competition on the stage)
Get back on track libs and quit your blaming the world and Republicans for everything.
As a woman, I was excited about Hillary's candidacy and was originally interested when a woman was named as a VP candidate. But after further review, I guess I am forced to say "yecch". OK Obama, you have my vote, just show me that you are worth it.
