From NBC/NJ’s Matthew Berger
ORLANDO, Fla. -- Palin will meet with the presidents of Iraq, Pakistan, Georgia and the Ukraine, as well as singer and activist Bono during her three-day trip to New York, the McCain campaign announced Sunday.

Palin will meet Wednesday with Georgian President Mikheil Saakashvilli and Ukraine President Viktor Yushchenko together, according to campaign officials. She will then meet with Iraqi President Jalal Talabani and Pakistani President Asif Ali Zardari before hosting Bono, the lead singer of U2. Later in the day, she will meet with Indian Prime Minister Manmohan Singh.

The campaign had previously announced meetings set for Tuesday in New York, including Afghan President Hamid Karzai and Columbian President Alvaro Uribe.

Bono has more foreign policy experience than Sarah Palin and sadly, that's not sarcasm but the plain (or palin) truth.

Spread the truth!

Keep posting Libratine!
So this will give her foreign policy cred?  Then I guess Chelsea Clinton and Amy Carter (who met alot of foreign leaders)are probably ready to be POTUS also.  Let's not forget people, she could be POTUS on day 2!!!
This makes me want to vomit. I can't believe these presidents and prime ministers have the time of day for this ridiculous, vacuous fool. The rest of the world can only hope she and McCain with his early-onset Alzheimers get elected. Maybe then they will be able to completely write off the U.S. This is disgusting. She doesn't represent the U.S. or its citizens and she should not be allowed under any circumstances to do so to the rest of the world until if/when she and Gramps are elected. As an American, I'm insulted.
This is sad that the media is going to put this as headlines that Palin has met world leaders now.  I bet a month ago she would not have even known the names of each of these leaders.  Setting up a meeting with a world leader during a campaign is not the same as discussing policy and treaties.

When will Palin have a real interview and answer in-depth questions with in-depth answers?

Also, can I be her husband and not have to do what the government and laws require?  If I decided I didn't want to appear because of a subpeana I would be in jail.  Why isn't he?
I hope First Read and MSNBC will give us information on how all these meetings go down. Are they going to be substantial? Did the prospective VP and even POTUS gain information? Did the meetings expand her grasp foreign affairs? I would believe these are newsworthy issues.
Crash course AND she gets to meet Bono?  Now she'll be an expert on U2s library since "I've seen Bono!".

*sigh*
This must be her "homework" for the week.  I wonder if she'll be able to remember all the names for the debate.  Talk about a crash course in foreign policy!  They should ask her if she can locate the countries on a map or can she see them from her house.
Why them? You would think she'd at least meet with other groups that make up America instead of people she can see anytime from her window (and Bono, who meets with everyone bless his rocklomatic heart).

It's so weird that I have yet to read one item about Palin that isn't prefaced with "according to campaign officials."

It's like watching the Manchurianette.
Wow, a foreign heads-of-state marathon!  Great way to prepare for her debate with Joe Biden.
i hope she doesnt try to choke any of them as is her nature with things she doesnt understand
