Ad ties Iraqi waste to economy, McCain

Look for an Obama ad tying Iraq waste to the economy and McCain. No word on where it's running.

"Well, the Iraqi government is finally spending some of its $79 billion surplus from oil," an announcer says. "A surplus that has grown with the record high oil prices we pay. Where’s the money going? A Ferris wheel. It’s true -- the Iraqi government is going to build a 650-foot Ferris wheel with air-conditioned cars, right in the heart of Baghdad. It’s enough to make your head spin.

"John McCain wants America to keep spending $10 billion a month in Iraq when we should be rebuilding America. That’s right. With banks failing because of Washington’s lax oversight, gas prices soaring, and jobs moving overseas. John McCain will keep spending $10 billion a month in Iraq.

"After years of Bush-McCain policies taking us for a ride, we just can’t afford more of the same."

Politico's Ben Smith reported it's airing in at least Colorado and Virginia and that it's radio.

(If anyone hears it, let us know where!)

I've been hearing this ad on my local radio station WLQT Lite 99.9 in Dayton for a few weeks now, but I haven't seen the TY spot.
I've heard this add on the radio, ie. WTOP, in the National Capitol Region,  Northern VA.

VOTE OBAMA/BIDEN '08/12

A RABID REPUBLICAN NOW FOR OBAMA
I've heard this ad several times over the last week on RADIO in Colorado.  It even has carnival music in the background!
I am in Denver and I have heard this ad on AM 760 twice now.  I would love to see the visual that could accompany it!
Can you see any other countries from the top of the ferris wheel? This could be the foreign policy experience breakthrough Silly Sarah has been waiting for!
McCain is still fighting the Vietnam war in his head.  I really believe that's why he can't face the reality that the fight is elsewhere.  He can't "lose" another war.  This, my friends, is dangerous.
I don't have time to watch for it...I'm having more fun with you guys.  But I would not be surprised to see or hear it here in Indiana.  Since Sunday noon, the McCain camp has been making our TV stations some of the wealthiest in the nation.  In this recession a TV station could afford to buy one of McCain's homes.
Very nice ad!!!  Wow!  It's really damaging!
Why not question McCain's judgment on GOING TO WAR?
Why not question his judgment on WMDs?

Question his judgment on 'Bomb, Bomb Iran'
McCain wants to lead a 'League of Democracies'
(see: Coalition of the willing)

Who's going to follow his lead on Iran when he's singing 'Bomb, Bomb Iran' ??

There was an article in Huff Post that stes Palin thinks that 'MAND WALKED WITH DINOSAURS'

Interesting 'world view' Palin has
The only Dinosaur I've seen lately is John McCain

Don't Eat the Yellow Snow
Domenico, this is airing in battleground states just on the radio.  See the following along with clips:

Heard on KQMT (wimpy Classic Rock station) in Denver on Saturday afternoon.
Heavy rotation on AM 760 (progressive talk radio) here in Denver/Boulder.
Oh!  A ferris wheel!

That oughta make the Iraqis happy.  Mass destruction, innocent lives lost by the thousands, less stability than ever...

But hey, you have a ferris wheel!

We need to get out of Iraq NOW.
It's been playing on the radio in Florida for the last week or so
It WORK SO WELL LAST TIME !!
Let's DO IT again !!

'... McCain May Suspend Campaign Again

Kurtz at TPM writes, "John McCain made the morning show rounds today. On Fox they were virtually begging him to 'suspend' his campaign again in the wake of the bailout failure yesterday on the Hill. You know, since it worked out so well the first time. McCain's answer: He just might suspend again."

McCain's comments follow a blog post by William Kristol yesterday arguing, "if this is really 'a national economic crisis,' and others have failed to lead, then McCain should lead--by re-suspending his campaign (fine, let observers mock him when he announces this), and leading his party and the Congress towards a solution. They won't mock if he can pull this off."...'

I feel SOOOOOOOOOOO much better, now
Thanks, John

So now the communist clown phone it in leader wants to take Iraq's oil?
I heard this add on 610 am (WIP) in Philadelphia this morning.  It's great!
I have heard this on AM 760 in Denver, CO it has been playing for at least a week maybe two.  I too would love to see this made into a tv ad - it is very effective!
Obama has a point.  However, if the next president, including Obama goes after Iraq oil it will be evidence that US invaded to Iraq to take oil money.  Maybe President Obama could get away with it.  If President McCain goes for it would just fuel anti-american sentiment and not be supported in Congress...

Anyway, from recent press releases I am to believe 16 billion is inconsequential, so who cares if we are spending 10 billion a month... maybe it amounts to a subsidy of defense industry? /end sarcasm

Heard it on KYW 1060 AM in Philly.

Obama/Biden '08!
After all these years, this is what the leaders of Iraq finally agreed upon, a ferrie wheel.
We can fund a couple of dozen Iraqs with what this so called bailout Obama wants to haved passed by  Congress. Then there's the little line item like Health Care that Obama wants to fund. We could fund 50 Iraq wars every year with that kind of cash.

Obama must think people are really stupid to think that he's somehow going to save us taxpayers some kind of money.
This proves the Iraqi government is about as responsible with their money as we are with the $6.6 Billion in pork in the Senate spending bill passed over the weekend.  By math, that is nearly 1% of what is needed to fund this bailout/rescue/giveaway we are currently facing.
I've heard it every morning for the last week on the way to work in Hampton Roads VA...pretty funny with the carnival type music in the background...
I heard this add yesterday on either 610 or 950 AM radio in Southeastern, PA (Delaware county)
We've seen this gimmick before with Bill Clinton. He too promised a tax cut and used the that line in his campaign as he criss-crossed the country. After he got elected though, no tax cut. Still waiting Bill. And Bill, unlike the extreme liberal Obama, was a moderate. Obama cut taxes? Not a chance. And all the new taxes on businesses he plans? You think unemployment is high now, just wait until then.
Oh please, oh please!!!  Let us know where we can hear our annointed leader speak his gospel to us through another ad!  Let us know so we can continue to heap piles of praise upon him!  Forget a fair and unbiased media...it's Obama!!

Umm...he's going to tie the war in Iraq to the economy?  What about tying himself (and his community organizer buddies), the Democrats in Congress (who have done absolutely nothing since they took control...did nobody see this coming?  Come on!), and his past campaigns (for becoming #2 on Freddie and Fannie's donor list!)?  And what about the fact that he wants to end the war in Iraq so that he can refocus on Afghanistan...if the war in Iraq has been devastating to the economy, then I guess the war in Afghanistan will likewise be devastating?  What about his utter lack of leadership over these past two weeks with respect to the bailout bill?  What about the ignored calls for action by Bush and McCain with respect to Freddie and Fannie in the years leading up to this point?  I'm a Democrat, and I am disgusted with Pelosi (and her severe lack of leadership and severe lack of judgment with her partisan rant yesterday) and the rest of them.  What good is having control of Congress when you can't even muster up a majority (and I don't mean a Democratic majority...I mean a House majority) to vote for a bill that the American economy desperatly needs?

Presidential?  I think not.  Obama's all talk, no action.  I've been saying that since the primary.

P.S.  I think it's hilarious that you guys criticize Palin for not having a passport when Obama himself first traveled to Europe this summer!  You guys are seriously pathetic.  Grow up, get informed, and stop playing this ridiculuous partisan "my guy is better than your guy and I can show it because I've got all the talking points down" b.s.
Have heard it several times on local Philadelphia, PA radio
"So now the communist clown phone it in leader wants to take Iraq's oil? "

Two things:

1) neither bush nor mccain is a communist

2) welcome to earth. Think we went there to take them democracy at the point of a bayonet? (you might, but we didn't.)
It's been on radio in Indianapolis for a couple of weeks...
The Iraq war is chump change compared to the banking mess. At last look, McCain and Bush were the ones that tried to reform Fannie and Freddie Macs. Barney Frank put and end to those reforms. Then Obama hired the Macs CEOs to work on his campaign. So lets get a little real here liberals, Obama doesn't know a thing about the economy.
RE Obama Radio Ad:

I have been hearing this ad for quite some time - for at least several weeks now on an all news radio station in the Philadelphia, PA area.
After all these years, this is what the leaders of Iraq finally agreed upon, a ferrie wheel.

val crystal lake, Ill (Sent Tuesday, September 30, 2008 1:26 PM)

Lets keep Barney Franks out of this conversation.
We can fund a couple of dozen Iraqs with what this so called bailout Obama wants to haved passed by  Congress.
----------------------------------------------------
Funny you should say this. Didn't McCain do "everything" he could do get it passed? You forgot to mention that.
Heard it in MI - WJR AM 760 this morning at 8:40am
"There was an article in Huff Post that stes Palin thinks that 'MAND WALKED WITH DINOSAURS'"

God I hope they ask her that question in the debate...
EXCELLENT!!
Saw this ad on CBS3 Philadelphia.

Awesome!
I heard it on Cleveland radio.
I heard the ad in Indianapolis, IN
