Obama said it, and I remember him saying it, that he'll fully support an individual right to bear arms under the 2d Amendment, as that has recently been interpretted by the Supreme Court.  That means continue reasonable regulation, but not outright banning all guns. Of course, you know McCain and the NRA will ignore facts and spread lies about Obama's position on gun control. Heck, I'm sure the NRA president's office has a pin-up of a naked Palin with her airial wolf killing rifle, covering her naughties.

I would like to know the candidates stand on immigration.  I hope this is a question that is asked at ONE of the debates.  Seems like McSame just doesn't answer any questions anyway.

Whether Obama knew Ayers was a terrorist years before or not isn't the issue (as Obama supporters try to prove).  As the below shows, William Ayers has maintained the same radical, communist philosophies thru the years.  That's what's scary about his relationship with Obama, who's been an avid reader of Ayer's books.  So just like with Reverand Wright, how many radicals has Obama sat under, worked with, and learned from while all the time claiming ignorance about their beliefs and motives????

Obama campaign: If you are listening I think it's time. Time to corral the anger of the American people against "Washington Politics as usual". McCain has now fully embraced Karl Rove tactics in the face of an economic crisis. I read the boards across web and people are angry and frustrated. Point your finger at McCain and give him the verbal lashing he deserves for ignoring the plight of Americans. He is out of touch.

as a man who taught constitutional law at the university of chicago one of the best universitys in the world, barack obama knows how the defend the constitution. he will not ban guns or take away the rights of gun owners!! however, we must realise that there should be different rules that the local government will try to apply. now let be clear, hunting rifles and hand guns are one thing, assult rifles and automatic weponds are something else!! the for fathers did not know we would have weponds like we have today, and there is no place for a AK47 or M16 in the innercity or even the rural areas.
there needs to be common ground. the only people that need these kinds of weponds are law enforcement and the military. agree!!!!! if you do not agree then tell me why we need weponds like the M16 or AK47 on the streets of america!!!! in indiana resident post signs on the homes telling people not to truspass or they will be shot. i think that is fair!!!!

I'm sure Obama would love hunting with Ted Nugent, if not maybe attend his rock concert. Can't you just see these guys as real hunting buddies, or do you think he might look at Ted as one "clings to his guns and religion". Why do deer hunters need amour piercing ammunition? I have not hunted in awhile, but my 30/30 was always just fine with regular ammo in the good old days.

Yes guys, I know you can get off more accurate longer range shots, but at some point, it becomes "sniping" not hunting...If we need to train snipers, we should send them to the US Military!

I've only been speaking English all my life, so I may be wrong, but it sounds to me like the Second Amendment is preserving the right to bear arms in connection with a militia.  Therefore, all those people who insist on bearing arms should be drafted into the military so they can use them as provided in the Constitution.  Next flight to Iraq and Afghanistan departs shortly.  Be on it.
